Pastry Chef Sheya - Volume 1 Chapter 66 Lavender And Tea Cupcakes
As the cruise ended, Sheya and Sophie barely said a word to each other.
The older man who was caught with the young girl was detained for further investigation.
Toby went to his made shift studio in their home and reviewed all the up and coming clients who wanted to hire his Panda Photography company to their events.
” Woaahh.. This will be a very busy month..” he uttered to hisself.
On the other side of the house, Sheya was on the phone, talking to her branch managers and taking notes about the developments of her SheyButter Cafe.
Business is doing well.. Her customers were loyal, her staffs were happy on their working environment and she couldn’t ask for more.
She went to the kitchen and made some lavender and green tea cupcakes topped with honey frosting and knocked on Sophie’s door with these delicious treats.
” I understand if you’re upset with me.. I’m hoping we can all put it behind us and move on with our lives as a family..” Sheya said.
The ladies hugged each other and they sat on the floor with their cupcakes.
” These are so lovely, The texture are so smooth, the lavender is so calming and the honey is so fresh..” Sophie said while stuffing her mouth.
” I used to drink green tea and put some lavender on it for a subtle fragrance years ago when I couldn’t sleep until I realised to make a cupcake out of it.. My boss back then was so impressed and he made me his assistant pastry chef. We did a series of tea flavoured cupcakes for the entire month and it was a big hit to the customers so he decided to put these on the menu.” Sheya explained.
” I wish I could be like you.. You have everything now. A house, a family and a growing business..” Sophie said.
” Anything is possible as long as you don’t stop believing and working for it.. ” Sheya replied.
Toby knocked on the door..
” Wow.. so you two are best friends again?” He asked with a silly smile on his face.
” I’m sorry to interrupt your sweet moments but I got an offer from a very distinguished client to do their events.. And guess what? They wanted you to do the catering.. They want your cakes, cupcakes, macaroons, pies!” He exclaimed.
