Perverted Romance - Chapter 266 Chapter 266
Ivy had read the news about General Li’s business downfall.
She walked up to Charlie who was sitting beside her daughter’s bed, patiently waiting for his Fan-Fan to wake up.
“Hey, you should eat something. I’ll ask someone to get you breakfast okay?”
She gently said. Last night Charlie had come and told them that he and her daughter were going out.
Ivy wasn’t so surprised she heard what Charlie had said to Wesley last night.
In fact she was thankful to him, if it weren’t for Charlie, her Fan-Fan would have been hurt by Dio.
Charlie just nodded but still remained seated, he was like a statue gazing at TP quietly while she sleeps.
“Charlie, can I ask you favor?.”
Charlie just nodded.
“Please call your father for me…”
“…”
Charlie was unsure of what his “mother in law” wants to do but he still whipped out his phone and dialed for his dad.
Wesley was having his tea when his phone rang. He reluctantly answered his phone.
“I’ve already told you not to disturb me so early in the morning…”
Wesley nagged. He’s a meticulous man who wanted to have a peaceful breakfast everyday.
But his unfilial son Charlie would always call him whenever he runs into trouble so early in the morning to bail him out which ruins his mood all throughout the day.
“Its me…”
Ivy said, her voice was shaking as if she would let out another cry.
Wesley double checked on his screen then gently spoke on the phone.
“Hey, how are you?”
He cheerfully greeted. The complete 180 degree mood swing was so obvious, his voice was so lively that Ivy could picture him out smiling so wide while he sips his morning tea.
“I just called to thank you. You really doesn’t have to, but still thank you.”
She softly said. She held back her tears, Wesley could hear her stifling a cry that he wanted to fly back to the Chang mansion to hug and console her.
Not as a lover but as her friend. Her best friend.
“It’s nothing, don’t worry about it.”
He said. Trying his best to console and reassured her. The Li family had dared to make Ivy and his “daughter in law” cry, it was only right for him to take action and deal with it.
