Perverted Romance - Chapter 79
Ivy held TP’s hand, her voice started to tremble as if she was about to cry which made TP wary and anxious.
“Fan-Fan, your father is a very diligent and hardworking man and I am a young miss who only knows how to sew dresses.
I have no idea about house chores and other basic things.
Every night your dad will come home all exhausted but will still find the strength and time to take care of me and you.”
Tears started to stream down Ivy’s face.
TP instantly felt agitated. The one thing she hates the most is seeing her mother cry.
“Mom, stop! Why are you telling me all this? I don’t need to hear things about that man who left us for someone else!”
TP snapped, Ivy looked at her in the eyes then asked her.
“Is that what you think what happened?”
“I overheard you and grandpa talking about it before.”
She honestly replied. She accidentally heard about it when her grandpa visit them before they moved back to the Chang household.
Her mom slowly shook her head, then she wiped her tears.
“That’s not what actually happened.”
TP was shocked hearing her mom, she looked at her quizzically as if seeking for answer. Then her mom continued.
“I lied to my dad before. The truth is, I left your dad cause I couldn’t bear to see him suffering because of me.”
“I told your father that I will try to learn on how to be independent but he disagree, cause he promise me that he will not make me work and pamper me for the rest of my life.
He’s a hopeless romantic, but love is not enough to survive.
I know that he’s trying everything he could to provide for us, but I can’t just sit around and watch him as he wore himself out.”
TP’s head started to ache. She was shocked silly about what she found out, all this time she hated her father because she thought it was him that left them.
“If you could remember, we moved a lot to different cities when you were just a kid cause I’ve been avoiding your dad.
But when you were in high school, I realize that you need a better life, so I talk to your grandpa and fortunately, he took us back.”
