Phone App: Portable Armory - 210 Ambrosia Cartel
Patrick stood on the platform number 27. There was a private jet parked there, it was owned by Marinka. Yes, it was Marinka, the FSB Vympel. However, she looked just like Herring. He was only accompanied by one tall bodyguard. That tall bodyguard only brought a pistol and it was also her pilot. It could be said that the bodyguard was Marinka’s personal assistant.
“Nice to meet you, Lizeth, or Patrick?” She chuckled.
“Call me Patrick. Thanks.” Patrick shook her hand.
The sea breeze hit their face. The waves hit the platforms that supported the main base. “Patrick, can you take me inside?” Marinka asked him.
“Sure,” Patrick said.
Marinka followed Patrick from behind. She seemed to be unarmed. The babushka seemed to have an intention of coming to the main base. For starter, HSDC didn’t have territory in the northern region yet, so HSDC hadn’t made any contact with Russia besides some of their fateful meeting on Syria. Well, calling it a fateful meeting wasn’t necessary either. It was more like a sudden meeting in the middle of a battlefield.
Patrick headed for the lift that would take him down to the lower deck of the command platform. The lift door opened and Marinka entered the lift. Once she arrived at the lower deck, she was amazed on how big the main base was. The upper deck was only used as observation and training ground as well as runways for the jets.
She looked like those kids who were given a bag of free candies. She couldn’t believe what she had seen. Last year, those contractors were only helping them in retrieving Amar, and now, they even had a base with technology more advanced than what the superpowers had. Just wait until she saw the nukes, she would pass out.
“Marinka, welcome to HSDC,” Patrick said.
Marinka’s mouth was still closed. She was speechless. Even she was more speechless when she saw something as secretive as Su-57 being lifted to the upper deck for take off. Su-57 was still secretive in Russian’s eyes, but it wasn’t the case for Patrick and the other contractors. They had access to the Su-57 since the start of their business. They just bought it later.
However, as happy as Patrick could be with his fateful meeting with Marinka, he didn’t have the time to take care of that babushka around the HSDC main base. However, as he walked, he saw Nathan was walking in the street of the lower deck. He was smoking a cigarette. Patrick would just give the job of giving the tour to Nathan since he had handled Herring, it might be a good idea to give the duty to him.
“Commander Davis!” Patrick shouted.
“Nice to meet you, Agent Marinka,” Nathan said.
And there was she, walking around in anger while looking around for her boyfriend who was missing without giving any news. The said person had worn a parachuting gear and she looked very pissed. Of course, that said person was Lynn Mcgrath. Of course, the angry girl was holding her favorite battle rifle.
Before Patrick had noticed, the collar of his combat shirt had been pulled away by that angry girlfriend. “Marinka, see you later. Just ask Nathan for any question.” Lynn pulled him to the platform number 29. There was a C-17 parked on top of that platform. It would be used for delivering them to Panama.
Lynn pulled him into the inside compartment of that cargo plane and the cargo door was closed. The plane was lifted from the below deck into the runways at the upper deck. Lynn threw a para equipment to him. “Dating with Babushka again I see.” Lynn was jealous.
Patrick would assume that this was the Yandere phase of his love story, but he wouldn’t think that Lynn would be jealous with someone as old as Herring. Heck, if Patrick wanted it, he could request Marinka to marry Herring, but it wouldn’t ever happen.
“Hey, I’m not. It’s just a misunderstanding,” Patrick said.
“I see. It better be that, or…” Lynn clenched her fist.
Patrick tried calming her down. It seemed to be working. Lynn was just jealous for some unknown reason and Patrick could understand that. However, it was no time for a meaningless chit chat, they really need to think about their move once they arrived at Panama.
“Ok, so we will land at the forest. Build an airbase and wait until the personnel came. Is that the plan?” Patrick asked Lynn.
“More or less,” Lynn said as she opened her PDA and projected a map inside of the hologram of the map.
The landing zone for them was one of the flat surfaces on that forest in Panama. It was full of greeneries and animals. They would need to build the base immediately or they would be in a very big trouble since they didn’t bring any food for a duration longer than three days. There were only six packages of 24 hours MRE on their bags. It was more than enough if everything went according to plan.
The plane took off from the base at six in the afternoon. They would arrive at around midnight in Panama. Meanwhile, Patrick was checking on the cargo that the plane brought alongside with them. The cargo was weaponry and one vehicle. The vehicle itself was a Stryker combat vehicle that was equipped with 20mm autocannon.
The destination might be Mexico or Nicaragua since those were the only places where HSDC sent armored vehicles. However, it was most likely that the cargo was actually for the Matamoros cartel in Mexico since they were in war with the most powerful cartel in the whole world.
The rest of the cargo were generic. It was ranging from an HK416 to a KORD 14.5 mm heavy machine gun. There wasn’t anything special in particular, such as the railgun. However, the amount of containers were quite a lot due to the fact that the world was on fire at this moment.
HSDC maintained peace by using dictatorship and brainwashing to any country that they owned. The context of dictatorship here was forcing the people to obey the rules that the HSDC made unconditionally no matter who you were. Patrick looked at the GPS that was placed on his PDA.
It appeared that they had arrived at Panama’s coast. It wouldn’t take long until they arrived at the target location. They had to jump the moment the green light was turned on. Lynn was sleeping on the chair of that jet.
She was sleeping very soundly although she was strapped by some series of uncomfortable straps on that military styled chair. She might still be very tired from the last operation that they had done together. Well, it was not a big surprise since Lynn was usually sleepy after a very long operation.
“Lynn, wake up, we will arrive shortly,” Patrick said.
Lynn awoke from her sleep and he stood up inside of that plane. He waited near the door of the cargo plane and waited until the red light turned into green. Patrick waited behind Lynn with his paratrooper gear attached into his body. He would jump immediately after the light turned green.
“50 seconds before entering the jump area. Checking time.” Patrick checked Lynn’s parachuting equipment and Lynn did the same with him. They checked each other’s equipment and everything seemed to be in a good working order. They wore their gas mask since it was a high altitude jump where there wasn’t enough air.
“Green is on. Green is on.”
The announcer said that and the cargo door was opened. The cargo container where the weapons were placed was pushed by both of them and they jumped from the plane. The cold breeze of night hit their face. It was so cold that their glasses started to froze up. Well, the temperature at high altitude was cold so it was expected.
Patrick checked on his altimeter as he descended into the ground. The numbers on the meter went down every time Patrick checked on it. He would open the parachute once he reached one thousand meters. After he reached that altitude, Lynn and Patrick opened their parachute and the weapon container parachute automatically opened as they opened the parachute.
They would arrive at the ground in twenty seconds. The trees became more visible as they landed at the forest. They flipped their night vision goggles so they could see in the dark. There were a lot of animals inside of that forest. Patrick and Lynn walked to the weapon container. They opened it and see what was inside.
