Please Be A Traitor - Chapter 74.1
Please Be a Traitor
Vol. 15: Heavy, Sluggish, Rapid
Chapter 74
Even though I was wearing waterproof boots and a robe, it seemed that my whole body was getting wet and heavy from the raindrops.
It was so hard to move my body, I wonder how hard it would be if I happened to bring all that luggage. It was fortunate that Karpel had a magic pouch.
“Hold on for a minute.”
After some distance from the village, Karpel said.
I stood in place.
Karpel kept walking without stopping, and the water was up to his thighs.
Come to think of it, didn’t he sneeze earlier?
I’ve never seen Karpel sick, but he might have caught a cold because he was walking around in the rain today.
“Kar……”
As soon as I called Karpel, he put his hand in the water.
What he picked up was a long leather strap, and when he pulled it up, the water fluctuated and a big black thing popped up.
It was a giant pig.
Karpel dragged the pig out. A purple magic circle shone viciously on the pig’s forehead.
“What is that…?”
“I cast a brainwashing spell. Let’s take a ride.”
Looking up, there was a saddle on the back of the pig that looked like a camping chair
. The problem is that pigs were bigger than elephants, so I could never climb even if Karpel became a foothold.
Karpel, who dragged the pig to my place, reached out to me. I caught it reflexively, but I have no idea where to step on.
Karpel glanced at my hand he held, then let go of it, and motioned to come closer to him.
I took a step closer and he grabbed me by my waist and kicked the ground.
“Kyaa!”
When I came to my senses, I was already on the back of the pig.
Karpel, who sat me in the back of the two chairs, pulled a blanket out of his belt pouch, wrapped it around me, and tied a string over both armrests.
I felt like I was on a playground with poor safety.
“It takes 30 minutes to get to the village. So be patient.”
The ride on a playground is usually only 5 minutes, but this takes 30 minutes?
“…… Yeah.”
Yet it isn’t that scary that I want to get off immediately, so I nodded my head.
“Let’s go.”
As soon as Karpel said that, the air and raindrops struck my face hard. Because of the speed of the raindrops, it felt like the raindrops were piercing my face and I had to bury myself in the blanket.
We were moving in a vertical straight line motion but I couldn’t figure out why I felt like I was in a free fall.
I couldn’t even scream.
Daddy, help Ina, please!

Karpel often looked back at me, but it made me nervous even more.
After leaving the plain field, it was a forest, but the pig rushed at a crazy speed without slowing down at all.
There was a path.
It’s good that I didn’t get hit by branches because the giant pig hit a tree and stepped on it, but I kept hearing a crunching sound under my feet.
“Did the beasts go this way?”
Karpel’s mutterings as he looked around quickly drifted behind.
“The forest looked intact yet.”
So it’s not the pig we’re riding making this path……?
After another 10 minutes or so, we got out of the forest, and the ride became more bearable.
Running up and down the hill became more fun and exciting.
I guess I’m surprisingly suited to extreme sports.
So as the half-hour Karpel said approached, the pig began to slow down. Then it stopped completely, just standing still.
Karpel took off the blanket and my cape and put it in his pouch, and then wrapped me in a new cape.
“I am fine. I don’t even feel cold. Karpel is more……”
It must have been colder for him since he sat in front of me.
As I grabbed his hand to stop him, a cold breeze came over me.
“Why are your hands so cold!?”
I grabbed his hands tightly and rubbed them, and soon his body temperature began to return, but now I saw that his face was pale.
“Karpel?”
“We should probably go to the next village.”
You looked like you’re going to fall sick but you still wish to go?
“Let’s rest in this village. It’s over there, right?”
Smoke billowed up from over the hill.
Since it was time for dinner, I thought it was coming up from a furnace, but seeing it again, it was a bit strange.
The smoke was just too much if it is from a furnace.1
And the black smoke was burning as if it were going to cover the sky.
“…Karpel, what kind of smoke do you think that is?”
Karpel set the pig off without a word. Then he turned and ran around the bottom of the hill.
“Karpel! Wait, I want to see that!”
