Please Don’t Remember Me - Chapter 4 Part 2. The Three Mistresses
****
Clara immediately bought some grilled meat skewers from a stall and sat down on a bench to eat them. It was the first time she had ever eaten like this. She would have liked to eat while walking around like the locals, but she couldn’t be that clever. The meat was delicious, and she ate it without any concern for manners. She ate so well that the man at the stall was pleased.
After that, she went to the general store and the stationery store, which were crowded with girls of the same age as her. She casually checked their clothes and what they were holding in their hands to learn what was fashionable.
She picked up a pretty letterhead, but quickly put it back, wondering who she was going to write to. The only people she would write to would be her sisters and brothers, but what would she say to them about her situation? There was no way to tell them, no matter how she thought about it.
No, this was not an international problem.
The princess of a neighbouring country was being neglected by the whole country. If she writes to her brothers here and now, he would come for her at once. And this country would be sanctioned in some way. She didn’t have any feelings for the country she had just arrived in, but she decided to let them know later.
“I want to enjoy this freedom a little longer.”
She didn’t want to think too much. Clara bought a few things at a stall that she thought it would make a good dinner and went home.
After that, she went to the city a few times. And she was convinced that she didn’t have to go to the main house. As long as she didn’t see the princess of Bajona, she was free to go out. There was no way the Princess would walk around the city.

“My Lady, have a cup of tea.”
“Thank you, Melissa.”
Melissa put the tea on the table. She didn’t sit on the sofa in front of Clara much these days. She would clean up when she could.
“I was just thinking that you always keep your room so clean, don’t you?”
“It feels good to have a clean room.”
Melissa didn’t question what she thought was good, she just did it. If she developed these qualities, she would surely become a favourite among the nobility.
“You made a very nice cup of tea.”
“Really? Thank you. It’s worth all the practice I put in.”
“What? What have you brought?”
“What? Tea leaves.”
“Where did you get them?”
“From the servants’ lounge in the main house.”
“Don’t we have tea leaves in this house?”
“I think we do, but I couldn’t find it on the first day because you had so much luggage, so I made a pot of tea from the servants’ lounge.”
Clara went to the kitchen and opened the tins and found that there were some fine tea leaves in them. So there it was. Her royal manners of not showing emotion on her face backfired on her. She should have just said it was bad.
“Use this tea tomorrow, and I’m sure you’ll be able to make a better one.”
“I will if Lady Clara says so.”
Melissa laughed softly.
Melissa was a good person. She was no longer running in the corridor anymore and she could open and close doors quietly. At first we were afraid she might get into trouble because of her manners, but once Clara had explained to her why she needed to do it, Melissa was able to do as she was told.

The butler came to inform Clara that the mistresses were holding a tea party. She changed into her formal dress, asked Melissa to do her hair and headed for the back garden. She had been there so many times that she had made a path through the grass.
“Good morning, dear Clara.” Laura said gracefully.
“Oh, what a lovely plait! Aria admired her hair.
“You’ve been in town again, haven’t you? Tell us about it.”
Sofia took Clara by the hand and sat her down in the chair next to her.
Talking with the three of them reminded her of talking with her sisters. Putting aside their countries and their people, they told each other what was interesting yesterday and what they would look forward to tomorrow. It was a casual, age-appropriate conversation that made her feel relaxed. The queen had been right: for the first time in her life, Clara had made friends.
“I think it’s time, don’t you?”
“Yes, I think it’s time.”
“I think it’s time, too.”
“Oh, my God.”
Clara almost dropped her cup of tea. She hadn’t seen Duke Remio ever since she came to this country.
Aria put her hands on her cheeks. Laura and Sofia lower their eyes.
“No, she doesn’t have to come.”
Oh, no, no, no, no. She should see him, he is such a feast for the eyes.”
The three of them put their hands over their mouths and smiled meaningfully. It was so elegant, so refined, so sexy.
Clara looked at them and then glanced at her own breasts.
All three of them have large breasts and small in the waist. It was hard to tell from their dresses, but their hips look ample, too, and though they weren’t chubby, they sure looked huggable. In comparison, she looked very poor. She thought her breasts were not too small, but in front of the three of them, she felt inadequate. Overall, she was slender and did not look very huggable.
As far as his mistresses were concerned, Clara wasn’t the Duke’s cup of tea. If a handsome man disappointed in you at first sight, you would be hurt, even if you didn’t like him. She decided not to see the Duke at this point.
“I have a favour to ask you, Lady Aria.” Clara asked.
“Oh, that’s so unusual. What is it?”
“If anything should happen to me, I would like you to take care of my maid, Melissa.”
“…… Hmm, what do you mean?”
“It’s going to be interesting.”
“Well, well, well, I can only imagine.”
They all whispered naturally.
“No matter what happens to me. You three are my dearest friends. Always and forever.”
The three women looked at each other for a moment, then smiled.
