Huh. What is wrong with her. Did she really forgot about me?
“Please stop joking. How can you forgot your own boyfriend?”
“Boyfriend? When do I even have one?”
Huh? No way… No way she…
“Ana, do you have amnesia?”
“That’s what the doctors said.”
“Then you don’t remember? The school gate? The Mall?”
“What are you even talking about?”
Oh my god. I collapse on the floor after heard what she says.
“I’ve wait two weeks. I’ve wait, eagerly, for two weeks to meet you. I have much to talk to you. About Gwen, Xavier, everything.” I’ve started crying. Tears just start running from my eyes, to the cheeks, and fell to the ground.
She just look at me from her bed. She said,
“So you know the old me. But that girl is no longer exist. That girl you love, the one you longed for, she died! I’m just another person in her body.”
She also start crying. It’s feel Much painful to see her crying than crying myself.
Then she said, with a crying voice,
“Hey… The old me, how was she? Is she kind?”
“She’s the kindest person I’ve ever know.”
“Does she act like a queen?”
“She’s like a beast, actually. But that’s why I love her.”
“Does she really love you?
“Not as much as I love you.”
She then went to silent. The evening light, shine her eyes and face. Truly, like an angel. She then opened her mouth,
“Me? Why do you love me? You don’t even know me. You love the old me. How could you said that?”
“Because I know you’re the same person as the old.”
“What?”
“Just now I know. you talk like her, your face like her everything was just the same.”
“What… What do you even mean by that?” She said furiously.
“That I will always love you, the old one, and the current one.”
She just look at me with her angelic face. The sun that is about to set, light up her face, appealing more of the angelic face.
“Ana…”
“…”
“I will always love you, whoever you are. I will always remember the love for the old, current, and the future of you. Ana… I love you.”
She then started crying, loudly than before. This time, her tears doesn’t pain my heart. I stand up, and walk to her. I open my arm and embrace her body. Then I said,
“I’ll never forget about you. So please, Don’t forget me.”
