Please Remember Me - Chapter 6 Chapter 5
“What did you say?”
It’s not true.
“The teacher said that she had a car accident last night with her father. Her father had light injuries, but Ana…”
Tell me it’s not true.
“What about her? What happened to her?!” I accidentally shout out loud, grabbing other people’s attention.
“She’s been put in the ICU for 2 weeks and had yet to regain consciousness.”
“Wha… Tell me it’s not true! Tell me your lying!” My eyes just filled with tears as it goes running on my check.
“…I’m sorry…”
I fell on my knees, just looking down on the floor. Remembering our last night’s date.
“But… just last night… She was smiling… We were having fun and…”
Then, my friend is on his knees, wrapping his arm around me and trying to comfort me. As He does that, I just crying, saying her name again and again, wishing for her to be okay.
Just then, the teacher come into the room and everyone trying to pretending that anything never happen. The class just start normally, like nothing happen. Honestly…
What a cruel world this is.

The school time, feels like it takes 10 years to finish. The clock is ticking slowly, The teacher’s word just can’t be heard by my eyes, as the world just came into silent. Out of boring, I take a glance out of the window. Yet, it’s just a monotone world.

The school’s bell finally rang, announcing the end of the school time. I take my bag and walk hurriedly to home, wanting to lay on my bed, and forget about this day.
As soon as I step in the house, my sister saw me and call my name from the living room.
“Hey bother!”
“Can you talk to me other time? I didn’t feel like to talk right now.”
“What’s with the gloomy face! Where’s my brother that always doing weird jokes around?” Said my sister while displaying a worried face.
“…”
“Cheer up a bit, okay?” Said her while smiling.
Seeing my sister’s smile, make my heart a little light than before.
“Thank you, you always try to cheer me up when I feel down. This happen even in our childhood right?”
“Well that’s the job of the sister the her brother right?”
“It’s actually the other way around.”
“Well, I suppose so.”
“Hahaha!” We then laugh together, ignoring of what just happen. At that time,
I thought what a lucky guy I am to have such a sister.
“Thank you… Gwen.”
“Oh! that’s the first time you mention my name right?”
“Yeah, I think it is.”
“You guys heard that? My name is Gwen. Nice to meet you.”
“Who are you talking to?”
