Pokemon Pearl - Chapter 56
As Anton laughed like a psycho, Blue Ninja and his team appeared on the roof of the cabin, surprising all those on deck.
“What the…?” Anton responded in serious surprise.
“Blue Ninja!” Rico positively called him. “You’re here!”
“Hi there, kid,” Blue Ninja replied to him brightly, “You think I would just leave you? No, my mind is alerted always.”
“Woah, Blue Ninja?” Maneki commented in stunning.
“Yeah, he is,” answered Rico back. Clenching his fist and drew his sharp sword, Anton retorted in anger and fury, “You little…. How could you ruin my day?” Pulling his own sword and point it upward, Blue Ninja replied back, “You think freedom is all this? Think again, freedom can be a way to crime and violence. This is not fun at all.” His Pikachu then responded with serious resentment.
“How dare you!” Anton shouted back angrily. Then to his gang, “Guys, attack him!” His gang, in response, summoned their weapons and began charging towards Blue Ninja together. But then, Blue Ninja and his team jumped to the deck and swiped his sword across in front of the charging gang, knocking them back without hurting. The gang had deal heavy knock back.
“Wow, he didn’t even hurt them?” Rico commented in mind and in amazement. Then, Mr. Fukui shakes his body until the rope that tied him loosens. Once free, he proceeds to untie Rico, Grey, Maneki, and their Pokémon, freeing them from captivity. After that, while Anton was distracted, they free almost all of the passengers and their Pokémon with speed. Upon noticing this, Anton was very angry, shouting at them, “Hey!” But it’s too late, and Anton blamed Blue Ninja for it.
“That’s it, you punk!” he shouted at him rudely. “You will pay for this!” Then to his Pokémon, “Get them!” His Pokémon, then including his third Pokémon, a Palpitoad, then stepped into battle with seriousness. The hostages and their Pokémon are now watching it from an upper deck.
“Woah, those Pokémon are intense,” Rico thought in his mind. He then pulled out his Pokédex then point it towards Electivire; his Pokédex then responded, “Electivire, the Thunderbolt Pokémon, and the final evolved form of Elekid. An Electric-type. It pushes the tips of its two tails against the foe, then lets loose with over 20,000 volts of power.”
“Wow, super cool,” Rico commented in surprise and amazement. He then put his Pokédex back to his pants pocket and focused back to the battle.
At the battle, Anton was aggressive and hostile at Blue Ninja, determining to defeat him and his team.
“Try it,” Blue Ninja seriously responded back. His Greninja then responded with seriousness. Then, as the sun rises over the middle of the day, the battle began.
“Electivire, use Shock Wave!” Anton commanded Electivire. Electivire then used Shock Wave, striking Greninja and Pikachu with a quick jolt of electricity. But Greninja and Pikachu dodged its attacks very quickly, shocking the vandalizing pirate leader a lot.
“Use Water Shuriken!” Blue Ninja commanded Greninja with serious style. Greninja then jumped high and used Water Shuriken, forming a shuriken of water in its hand. It then tosses the shuriken at Electivire, striking it with power. Electivire was really weakened to the ground. Greninja then landed back on the ground in cool action.
“Ugh! You think you’re strong?” Anton rudely retorted in response. “Then try it! Palpitoad, use Hydro Pump!” Palpitoad then used Hydro Pump, blasting water at high speed.
“Greninja, use Double Team!” Blue Ninja commanded Greninja quickly. Greninja then charged, dodging the Hydro Pump, and used Double Team, creating illusionary copies and disorient Palpitoad and the others, including Anton.
“Then use Water Shuriken!” Blue Ninja commanded Greninja as well. Greninja then used Water Shuriken, forming a shuriken of water in its hand. It, together, then tosses the shuriken at Palpitoad and the others, striking them with great power. This weakens them a lot and the illusionary copies of Greninja disappeared as Greninja jumped back to its original side, shocking Anton a lot and the audience cheered for Blue Ninja.
“Wow, that Blue Ninja was super cool and strong,” Maneki commented in amazement.
“Yeah, he is,” Rico added brightly. Riolu then responded with happy comment. Then suddenly, Maneki heard something’s crying and scared at a lounge on that deck. Curious, Maneki and his Pokémon went out to find what was making that sound. Upon noticing it, Rico and his team followed them. Then turning to a corner inside the lounge, the two kids saw a masked Palpitoad, scared of its Trainer and crying due to the terror the Vandals were making.
“A Pokémon who doesn’t fight for its Trainer?” Maneki commented in concern and surprise. His Pidove then responded with concern. Rico and his team then slowly and softly approached it with calm and concern expressions.
“Hey, hey, what’s wrong, Palpitoad?” Rico asked it softly and calmly. Litleo and Piplup then responded with concern and asking. Revealing itself up, Palpitoad took off its mask and responded with complaining about its Trainer, who was one of Anton’s cruelest members, especially how its Trainer exposed it to the gang’s predilection for vandalism and pirate way of life. Listening to it attentively with concern, Rico and Maneki exchanged looks for a few seconds, and then look back to it with worry and emotion. Riolu and Starly then placed their paw and wing onto Palpitoad in an attempt to comfort it. They done it successfully and Palpitoad’s unhappiness was lessen, and then it became resentful and rebellious against its Trainer and his gang, kicking the handkerchief multiple times in anger. Rico then picked the said handkerchief up and took a look of it. Rico then stand up as said to Maneki brightly, “Well, I think this Pokémon was now switching sides.” Riolu and Starly, after comforting Palpitoad, then responded with happiness and agreement, so as Piplup and Litleo. They then all went back to the deck where the battle between the Vandals and Blue Ninja and his team are taking place, only to see that Anton and his gang are almost defeated. Meanwhile, Mr. Fukui break-opened the crew cabin’s door, freeing them, and the captain finally called the coastal guards back at the shores; the ship’s control center was separate from the crew cabin. At the shores of Galen, the coastal guards received the distressed call of the crew and they and their Pokémon set off on a rescue and arrest mission as fast as they can.
Back at the ship, upon seeing them returned, Grey asked, “Why you guys left?”
“We heard something’s crying,” answered Maneki seriously, “and we think this little Pokémon wants to rebel against its Trainer.”
“Wow, a new Pokémon,” Grey responded back in surprise, “and wait, who is its Trainer?”
“One of the Vandals,” Rico replied back in answering.
“What? That’s terrible,” Grey replied back, “those bad guys?” Rico then nodded to say yes; Riolu and Starly then responded with seriousness.
“Oh, I see,” Grey responded back in calming down, “well, I think its Trainer must have been a bad and cruel one.” Palpitoad, being carried by Maneki, then nodded back in agreement. They then all resumed watching the battle.
Back at the battle, Anton’s Pokémon was defeated, but Anton wouldn’t accept it. In response, Blue Ninja told him to leave the ship and never come back. Of course, Anton was angry at him for foiling and ruining his fun time of vandalizing and hijacking the ship. He then called back his Pokémon and told his men to retreat and abandon their hijacking mission. His men did so, and they and their leader called all of their Pokémon and retreated. But as they about to escape the crime scene, the coast guards, on boats and ski boats, surrounded them, with the coastal guard captain telling them to surrender before them. In a very short time, Anton, his Pokémon, his gang and their Pokémon finally agreed to surrender. It was intense, but thanks to Blue Ninja, the Vandals were able to be hold enough until the coast guards arrived.
By lunchtime, back at the seaport, the tour was cancelled due to the hijacking and have to be postponed until tomorrow morning. The scene was rushing and in progress: numerous police vehicles appeared on the scene, Officer Jenny and the other police officers led the handcuffed Vandals, including Anton, to their police vehicles. Crew and passengers, including Rico, Mr. Fukui, Grey, and Maneki, bear witness to the police, and medical staff and paramedics rushed to aid the injured. Then, Maneki’s relatives rushed to the scenes and straight to Rico and the others, asking them questions like, “What happened to you?” and “Are you guys okay?” But, Rico and the others responded to their questions calmly and mildly, reducing their anxieties gradually. Palpitoad watched as its Vandal Trainer being handcuffed and led to a police car by a police officer. That Trainer then looked at Palpitoad in a bad mood; Palpitoad then looked away from him in rebellion and resentment. In response to that, that Vandal Trainer frowned and growled at it, before being pushed into the car by the police officer.
Meanwhile, Rico asked Officer Jenny what happens to the Vandals’ Pokémon when their Trainers are arrested.
“Oh, they will be taken to a local Pokémon Adoption Center to be taken care of and adopted by new Trainers,” Officer Jenny told them what will happen to them. “Besides, their Trainers had brainwashed them to sadistic violence.”
“Oh, thank goodness that’s good,” Rico and Grey responded back. Riolu and Flareon then responded with relief. Officer Jenny then smiled in happiness, and this follows with a short silence.
“So, are you keeping that Palpitoad?” Officer Jenny asked breaking the silence.
“Well, um,” answered Maneki back, “I decided to give it to my cousin Theodora.” Hearing Maneki’s words, Theodora was surprised and delightfully asked Maneki, “Really, cous?” Maneki then nodded to say yes. Because of this, Theodora was excited, and Maneki gave Palpitoad to her. Theodora then called it cute and hugged it with embracing, eventually causing Palpitoad to embrace its new Trainer. The rest then smiled in happiness, with Ylona, Mike, and Maneki and Theodora’s grandfather let her keep it. Theodora’s Pokémon then gave Palpitoad a warm welcome. After all that commotion, Rico and the others, including their Pokémon, went to Ylona’s house to eat lunch.
