Pokemon Pearl - Chapter 76
As the sun rises over the horizon, and its rays went through the narrow open parts of the inn room window, the alarm function on Rico’s phone rang, as if the time was 6:05 a.m. Upon hearing it, Rico woke up and turned off the alarm, before getting up and stretched out his arms a bit and yawned a bit short, so as his Pokémon. Shortly thereafter, he and his team went outside to train up for around three-fourths of an hour. By 7, they and the others went to the ground floor at inn’s restaurant to eat a hearty breakfast. The atmosphere around was calm and relaxing, relaxing like in a cafe. And as they eat, Emerson came in and informed about the latest update on Komati’s Old Stadium. The latest update there is: Construction workers are struggling against the Golems’ dominance and the situation is getting more worse and intense, as if the workers could not handle the Pokémon who are still guarding the riches and tombs of the old empire. The group was shocked and surprised to hear that, transitioning from calm and settled to shock very fast.
“What? Really?”
“That’s worse.”
“We have to prevent the situation from getting worse!” Sighing for a moment, Emerson responded back calmly, “I know. That’s why I came here for.” This response from the professor causes the group to be determined to solve the problem at such a historical site.
Later after breakfast, they gathered their belongings, checked out of the inn, hopped on Emerson’s car, and raced towards the urban districts of Komati as the family of Emerson’s sister wavered goodbye to them. By the time they had arrived at the site, they suddenly felt something shaking underground, with magnitudes like a mild earthquake. They were frightened, but it did not diminished their determination. And then, running to the entrance, Officer Jenny stopped them and forbid them to enter unless they had an ID. In response, Emerson showed her ID to the police officer, prompting them to let in, with Rico and Trevor promising to be careful inside. And so, wasting no time they ran to the underground chambers and labyrinth to save the workers. Upon arriving at the entrance of the tunnels, they saw workers and their Pokémon running for their lives, with some bailing out to the surface while warning the group about the Golems. It seems that the Golems are getting more hostile and hostile as they kept guarding the precious treasures and gems.
“Oh, no, it seems things are getting badder,” Juan commented with surprise alert. Riolu then responded with a similar comment.
“Yeah, they getting more hostile,” Campillo agreed with his son.
“We have to do something,” Trevor asked a suggestion for this out-of-control situation. His Pyroar then responded with seriousness. Observing the intense situation ratio closely, Rico and Juan responded back with, “You’re right.” They then entered the labyrinth and start trying to negotiate with the Golems, while separating into three groups: Rico, Trevor and their teams; Juan, Campillo, and their teams; and lastly, Emerson and her team. As they run through the complex tunnels, the more they are determined to end this terrifying situation. Everytime they see a rolling golem, they would try to calm them down and convince them about the present situation above the surface. But ironically, the Golems are too stubborn to listen to the humans, and continue being loyal to the deceased emperors of old times. And because of that, they became more and more hostile towards them, with a few of them using Rollout to attack them. But, Rico and his group managed to dodge them quickly with alert, but unfortunately, they are not allowed to attack the Golems due to its historical significance to the history of the region. However, they can’t stop the Golems from making the situation worse without landing a single attack on them. This makes the situation even more complicated and difficult to handle. How they supposed to stop this from escalating into more chaos?
“Yes! We did it!” Rico rejoiced in positive victory. Riolu then responded in positive victory as well.
“That was a hard one,” Trevor commented as he wiped off the sweat from his head with a handkerchief, “but at least, it worth a lot of energy and effort.” His Pyroar then responded with serious comment.
But as everything was going to be calm, the Golems, after unrolling themselves and realized that they had been tricked by the humans, became more enraged towards them, turning their attentions quickly towards them and are about to use a move. Rico and his group then snapped out from their celebratory state and back into the situation of the Golems, but then, Rico, having an idea about moving on to the future rather than sticking to the past, stood out at the entrance of the slope facing the Golems. His friends think that he is crazy, and yelled at him not to do that type of response, but Rico was not going to listen to them and kept going to his idea, but in a standing way. He then lightly take a deep breath, and said to the Golems like he was addressing to them, “Stop this madness! You’re causing problems for the future state of this building. The Komati Empire was gone, but is now recorded in history. Don’t you see? The people of today recognized the legacy of this place, and are now try to preserve that. They are not destroying it, but preserving it, and your shaking will cause more destruction than protection. How about the treasures you had been guarding? They might be buried under the rubble of the platform if you continue it, and thus, the stadium will be ruined.” Rico’s group was amazed at his statement, and the Golems felt bad at what they did, aborting their attacks. And shortly thereafter, the Golems agreed to give up their centuries-old duty and moved on to the present. And after that, Rico and his group came out alive, and they were given a celebratory applause from both the people and the police. Meanwhile, the Golems are being taken into a Pokémon Protection Zone, where they will be taken care of, to ensure their future and legacy after moving out. The problem the old stadium was solved.
