From that day on, time passed as Aqua got used to living with her new family. When she first learned Soul’s true name and identity she almost freaked out. Who wouldn’t freak out over that one of their new family members have won the League, and could have become a champion if they wanted?

Even with Aqua have learned about Soul real identity, she still treats him the same as she did back at Blackthorn City.

Soul also has started to build his company up. ‘Luckily,’ he had met with a billionaire named Magnus, who would like to invest 1 billion in his company. Soul agreed and sighed the contract.

Having enough money to start everything, Soul bought a factory, food supplies, employes, and many other things that he needed. When he had finished preparation, he went to the League and asked the elite-four to test his product for a week.

They agreed since it was nothing that would take too much of their time. All of them would also try and battled Soul again when they got stronger, so they could use this opportunity to make him battled them again.

Nonetheless, all of them were surprised by the effect of Soul’s food products. Soul was also happy, he had made a commercial of his product with all of the elite-four members telling their option about it.

After getting the last thing ready, Soul lunches his first company called ‘WinterSoul.’ The first product they are selling is Pokemon foods, and it became quickly popular with the commercial of elite-four, and that it was Soul, who made it.

All five of them are popular figures, so it attracted a lot of customers. It didn’t take long before his company became one of the richest companies to sell Pokemon food. Of course, there were some competitions, but Soul had already planned his strategy and won every single one of them.

While all of this was happening, Soul stayed behind with his family for a while before he moved out to Vermillion City. He had bought a house there close to the shore and mountains. When he saw that there weren’t any other houses around it, he immediately rang the seller.

The house was decent, with 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, two living rooms, a kitchen, an outdoor kitchen, an office, and there was even a boat dock! Not only that, but there was even a veranda with great space. And since the previous owner wanted to sell it quickly, Soul only bought it for 1.2m Pokedollar. That’s a cup!

His parents, including Aqua, were shocked when they learned that he would be moving out. They accepted his choice since the house was already bought, and that they should let their child go.

Father: Wait a minute… where did you say you would be living?

Soul: At Vermillion City.

Both of his parent’s started to discuss something, which made Soul suspicious. What are they up to now?

They turned around with a smile that Soul could recognize anywhere.

Mother: Sou-

Soul: I refuse!

Mother: But you haven’t heard what we are going to say.

Soul: I can recognize that looks anywhere, you wanted to ask me for another favor again! Seriously, it’s like I’m the parent around here in the house. But go on, I guess I can listen to your demands.

Mother: Well, Aqua wanted to study at Vermillion City School since it focused more on technology and science. She wanted to be a Pokemon Researcher and it would take a long time to drive from Pallet Town to Vermillion City. So that why can she go and live with you?

Soul: I can take her for three days, that means Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. Monday and Tuesday, you would have to take her there by yourself. I’m sure you can come up with something. As for weekends she can decide if she wanted to stay with me or you guys, but at the end of Sunday, she has to go back to Pallet Town. Deal?

Father/Mother: Deal!

Soul: Ok then, I’m going to get ready to go. Tell me when she would start when you have time.

Packing up all of the furniture that he needed, Soul and Anubis lifted two heavy cardboard boxes each and went outside, where a truck would come and get it.

Aqua: Soul! Thank you!

She said out of nowhere as she hugged Soul from behind.

Soul: Aqua? What are you thanking me for?

Aqua: I listened to everything you and my step-parent’s have said. I can’t thank you enough for letting me study at one of my dream schools here in Kanto!

Soul: You welcome? Anyways, since you have already listened to everything we have said, I don’t have to explain everything again to you then.

Aqua: Ok! Just wait. I will become the best Pokemon Professor/Researcher in the world!

Hearing this, Soul laughed a bit and patted her head.

Soul: I’m sure you will.

Aqua: I will! And stop patting my head. We’re almost at the same age.

She said while removing Soul’s hand away as if it was infected with parasites. Soul didn’t mind it and gave out a smug grin to Aqua.

Soul: Yeah, with me being the oldest.

Aqua’s face became red when she heard that. She would much prefer the quiet, cool, and not so talkative side of Soul than this side!

Aqua: Whatever, I’m still taller than you.

Soul body froze for a moment before he let out a cough.

Soul: A-Anyways the truck should be here soon.

Just as he said that a car sound could be heard as a truck could be seen, heading their ways. When it came to a stop, two Machoke came out and took all of the boxes and put them in the truck.

Soul talked with the driver for a while before they left. Soul also left after he said goodbye to his family, and the Oak’s family.

There were around two weeks left before the Ash and Gary journey would start, and Soul couldn’t wait to meet all of the legendaries.
