Pokemon: Ultimate Generations - Chapter 55
Pink sunk into deep thought for a moment, it was obvious what he would need an Incubator for. Something like an Egg Incubator wasn’t something hard for her to acquire. Pink told him that she could get 2 Egg Incubators with ease.
After all, she had to hatch her Clefairy from one in the past.
“Oh, so I can go to Pallet now and you’ll have the incubators for me?” Gan eyes formed into crescents.
“Well, not now. It’ll take some time for me to…”
“There it is.” Gan interrupted and said. He was expecting this for some reason.
“Wait, hear me out! I can have them in 2 weeks, how about that?” There was some embarrassment in her tone, she felt like Gan believed her to be incompetent of anything.
“Let me ask you something. You’re a trainer, right? How old are you?” Gan had asked this before, but she didn’t answer him.
“I’m 15, so I qualify to start my adventure and challenge the league,” Pink said with great pride. She even pulled out her Pokedex, and wouldn’t believe it—it was Pink and White.
Gan was stunned, he already knew what this meant. Speaking of which, her nickname was Pink. At that, he had heard that there was a guy nicknamed Blue as well. Of course, he knew who Blue was but he was surprised that he was present in this world.
Gan was starting to sense a pattern here, did this mean that there were other people who went by colors or something?
“Me and friends decided that we would all start our journey in 2 weeks from now.” Pink smiled just thinking about it, her tone was filled with emotion.
“….”
Gan couldn’t say anything, if he grew up in this world he would have done the same thing with his friends.
“Okay, you can meet me in Pewter City in a month from now. I’ll wait for you in the Pokemon Center, you can’t miss me.” Gan stated his arrangements.
“Hmm, I can do that. I’ll definitely be in Pewter at that time, ready to challenge the Gym Leader.” Pink couldn’t agree more with this arrangement, it gave her time and she would be on her adventure as well.
Pink and Gan conversed for a while as she brought up many topics. She said her dream was to challenge all Regional Leagues across the world. Gan was the same, he wanted to do exactly that in the future.
For him, it all started when he got into the Hoenn Region. Gan also gave her a heads up that the Gym Leader was a Rock-type gym, something she actually didn’t know. Pink asked him how he knew and he said he fought him before.
With a stunned expression, she asked him how it went. Gan flashed his badge and told her to be the judge of that. Pink was shocked, but when she thought about it when recalling Gan’s Pokemon—she understood.
Pink knew what Rock-types were weak against, thus, she would be prepared for Brock. She understood that she may not be an opponent for Gan. Pink’s expression sank when she recalled wanting to battle him.
“I guess so, I’ll see you then.” Gan nodded and said.
“Hmm, do you need any help packing things up here?” Pink looked around and asked.
“Nah, me and my Pokemon will be staying for a bit longer. I don’t want to hold you up, so go on ahead.” Gan shook his head and ȧssured.
“Okay, I’ll see you on that day then, bye-bye,” Pink recalled her Clefairy, who was sitting on the grass talking to Machop about something. Pink turned and started to walk away, she looked back a few times at Gan before disappearing into the forest.
“Hmm, that chick’s parents are mad loaded, I can tell,” Gan squinted and said to himself.
Gan reheated the pot since its temperatures had lowered. He had recalled Grimer sometime ago, he was saddened that it couldn’t join everyone. Gan felt like Grimer was cursed to be the way that it was. A few trees died where it was staying, they had visibly withered.
With a sigh, he summoned Gyarados, Chansey, Nidorina, Nidorino, and few other Pokemon. Gyarados levitated off the ground before landing on it and coiling its body up like a snake.
Machop, Mankey, and Sandshrew were in charge of handing out the food to everyone. Gan didn’t say anything, he just relaxed and sat back in his chair staring into the sky.
“The world of Pokemon, huh?” Gan muttered to himself. It was just too amazing, but what was even more amazing was that god-like entity he met. The one that sent him here, he knew that he wouldn’t have such an amazing opportunity in his lifetime, so he took it. Going to the Pokemon world, who could pass something like that up?
Gan camped for a while, it was 3 something Pm when he left Pewter City. Currently, it was getting late out. Gyarados was a big Pokemon, so it naturally needed to eat more than the rest.
It finished off the pot of food after everyone had gotten themselves some.
Gan stored everything he took out of his storage before recalling all of his Pokemon. He didn’t recall Growlithe, though. Instead, she walked by his side while doing little prances every now and then.
He was currently heading back to Viridian City.
Gan wanted to go back early. Once he arrived back in Viridian, he sat on a bench as he watched other people going on their way. Gan was just enjoying himself today, he was so uptight when he first arrived here, so he needed this.
Despite relaxing, he still thought about his next move and what he would do afterward. It was no telling when Warren would give him a call. So, Gan wanted to do some leveling up for his Pokemon.
It wasn’t like the game where people would be waiting around trying to battle you, he needed to do that on his own. Gan found that beating large groups of Pokemon or defeating wild Pokemon was his best bet.
Unfortunately, the best place for that was Viridian Forest right now. Perhaps he could head back into Beedrill’s territory, but he would still need to be very careful.
“How exciting.” As dangerous as it was, it got his blood pumping with just thought of the mayhem it would cause.
“Oh, it’ll be our training day, girl. I need to get you to a certain level before evolving you.” Just like Clefairy, it was best to hold out on Evolving Growlithe so soon.
Viridian Forest was a forest dominated by Bug-type Pokemon. With this, it was the best place for Koffing, Grimer, Growlithe, Pidgeotto, Gyarados, Nidorino, Nidorina, Ghastly, and Haunter to level.
Gan really wanted to quickly level Abra into a Kadabra. Its level was just too low, but it leveled up after eating with Gan recently. It was normally leveled up in this way by most trainers. They usually just fed and spent time with it until it evolved.
Abra spoke to Gan telepathically, and it told him that it didn’t like Beedrill. Gan thought that none of his Pokemon like that Wasp at this point.
Honestly, it was the only Pokemon he could really understand and hold a conversation with. However, its voice was really immature—similar to those squeakers from his online Xbox and Playstation days. Gan held minor conversations with Abra, but they didn’t last long. Abra was always tired after talking with Gan for a certain amount of time.
Gan stretched, he actually wanted to go to Pallet town tomorrow. After thinking about it, he wanted to go back to Viridian to explore and train a bit. Afterward, he wanted to go to Pallet town to conduct his robbery.
He wanted to test a few of his drones in the wild before actually using them in a serious matter. All the while he was thinking, he was petting Growlithe. The sun was starting to reach its setting point, but it wasn’t quite on the horizon yet.
Gan stretched his arms into the air before standing up and going to his Inn. He called forth his Machop, Koffing, Geodude, Nidorino, Nidorina, and Abra. Gan wanted to spend as much time as he could with his Pokemon by not having them confined to a Pokeball all of the time.
Gan closed the curtains then changed his clothes and got into his bed. He wanted to sleep early, so he could wake up early. Tomorrow was going to be quite the day in Viridian Forest. Perhaps, he could catch himself a Pinsir—if he was fortunate enough.
“It’s a big day tomorrow,” Gan muttered before slowly closing his eyes.
