Pokemon: Ultimate Generations - Chapter 57
Gan and Royce heard a scream that sounded soul-wrenching. When Royce heard Gan say here we go again, his thoughts began to jumble, was this normal here? Right then, a man ran out of the forest towards them.
He had sustained some injuries, but they were minor from what Gan could see.
“Wow, wow, calm down! Tell us what happened to you, and where’s everyone else?” Royce stepped forward to check the man’s condition.
“W-we were ambushed by a large group of Pokemon being led by a Beedrill. There weren’t just Beedrill, but all sorts of Poison Pokemon but they backed off and left once most of us were dead!” The man’s expression was filled with terror, they had been practically swarmed by these Pokemon.
“Well, this isn’t something out of the ordinary. I’m guessing your buddies are all dead?” Royce shook his head. There was hierarchy set up here with Pokemon running their own gangs and turfs, so he heard.
“I-I don’t know, but my Pokemon need to be taken to the Pokemon Center! I can’t stay here, I have to go, it’s your funeral if you want to continue ahead. I’m not getting paid enough for this sh**!” The man said no more and ran towards the exit of this Zone.
Right as the man was running away, they saw a shadow quickly swooped down on him. Gan’s expression changed dramatically, as he witnessed the man’s head being removed from his shoulders! His head flew into the forest to never be seen again. Blood shot out of the man’s neck like a water fountain before his body shuddered and fell to its knees, and collapsed.
Royce’s expression turned cold and serious witnessing such a dreadful scene. This wasn’t something he hadn’t seen before, but it was never something so sudden.
Infernape had seen everything in slow motion, it had caught the moments of the attacker with ease. Infernape only frowned at the scene, but due to the emotions of his trainer, it was taking things seriously this time around.
Gan had seen some wild things since he had come here, but he still wasn’t used to this type of brutality. His stomach churned, it felt like he was about to vomit at any moment as his expression twisted.
“Hold it in, it’s also doing this to intimidate you.” Royce peeked at Gan and knew his situation from his expression.
What appeared before them was a Beedrill. Gan held it together by taking several quick breaths before scanning the Beedrill.

“Bzzp!” There was no telling what Beedrill was saying, but its head turned to Infernape. It was feeling quite threatened by its presence.
Beedrill hovered in place, flapping its wings at speeds hard to process with the nȧkėd eye before it swiped its bladed limbs—tossing the residue blood away to the ground.
At that moment, the sound of loud buzzing could be heard from the forest. Gan was speechless, he was actually starting to hate a Pokemon for the first time in forever. He had run into many annoying Pokemon constantly in the game, but they were annoying to him and not hated.
With a disgusted expression, Gan revealed two Pokemon balls. He summoned Growlithe and Pidgeotto for this bout.
“That sounds like a lot of Beedrill.” Royce frowned. However, Infernape’s expression never changed, it was very confident in its strength.
Right then, a large swarm of Beedrill flew over and ahead, as if they were heeding this Beedrill’s call. From what Gan could see, these Beedrill were lower in level while very few of them had 2-star ratings, but nothing higher than this.
Infernape knitted its eyebrows seeing this swarm of Beedrill, it was no telling what it was thinking.
“It looks like I have to take things a bit seriously, but my team is designed to handle such Pokemon.” Royce sneered before throwing another Pokeball out, summoning it.
Royce summoned a Camerupt, its body emitted shocking heat once it appeared. This caused the Beedrill in the sky to momentarily paused. They seem to understand something, this Pokemon wasn’t something they could easily get close to.
Gan’s smiled in astonishment. He was started to feel eager to travel more than ever now. Seeing Pokemon that weren’t even in this region being put to use like this, he felt some kind of way about it.
However, resolve wash over him because he hadn’t even been in this world long, nor had he caught half of the Pokemon in this Region.
…

…
It was even stronger than his Infernape!
Gan surmised that this might be his strongest Pokemon if he lost to the Lorelei of the Elite 4. Now Gan was certain, he was indeed a fire-type trainer, it couldn’t be any more clearer at this point.
Gan turned back to Beedrill and tightened his awareness pertaining to the situation. The Beedrill that killed the man paused for a moment, it seemed very hesitant now.
“What? You’re scared now? I’d expect nothing less from a mere bug that I can squash with a single fist!” Royce laughed and taunted the Beedrill leader, he really looked down on bug-type Pokemon—in all honesty.
Infernape stood right next to him while grinning, glaring at the Beedrill with provocation. Pidgeotto, on the other hand, seemed ready to attack at any moment.
“Bzzztzz!” The will to kill flared up in Beedrill’s heart. How dare this lowly human look down on him? Beedrill gave out its orders, then the swarm of Beedrill that were hesitant, attacked!
“I thought so! Camerupt, use Ember! Infernape, you use acrobatics. Leap off of Camerupt’s back for some leverage.” Royce ordered as he pointed towards the group of Beedrill rushing over.
All at once, Infernape climbed onto Camerupt’s back and leaped off for leverage.
“Roar!” Infernape Roared before flipped and chopped down on one of the Beedrill before using its collapsing body as leverage to jump to the next target to attack.
Gan was a little dumbfounded, this guy was indeed an expert.
“Pidgeotto and Growlithe, help them out!” This was like music to Pidgeotto’s ears, it quickly took to the sky and went straight for the leader, who was watching. No one could understand the expression of a Beedrill, since it would never change.
Growlithe’s eyes flashed before she ran beside Camerupt. She started shooting off Ember shots just like Camerupt, she was clearly trying to compete with it. Camerurpt thought Growlithe was a little cute—when it saw how she was trying to compete with him.
Gan didn’t even get a chance to tell them what moves he wanted them to use before they went off to attack. Growlithe wanted to compete and Pidgeotto wanted to kill Beedrill.
“….” Gan just watched.
“Haha, you’re Pokemon are hot-blooded, who would have guessed?” Royce laughed at the side, he understood what had happened as he could see it clearly.
“Hmm…” Gan didn’t say anything and just watched instead. Pidgeotto kept swinging its wings of light at the Beedrill leader, while Beedrill tried to use its Twineedle on Pidgeotto. They were both dodging each other attacks and constantly going at it with one another.
“Geodude, use rockslide on that Leader Beedrill,” Gan whispered to Geodude, he obviously wanted to sneak attack this Beedrill. At this point, it was raining Beedrill; they all slumped onto the ground from one hit.
A small space opened and several rocks came crashing down over Beedrill, who wasn’t expecting this. Pidgeotto’s eyes flashed with joy, this was its chance!
“Pidgeotto, don’t kill it.” Gan hurriedly and said. He seemed to have thought of something when he saw Beedrill. Royce had seen and felt many things before, so he was certain this Pideotto was out for blood.
Pidgeotto heard Gan’s order. Despite being reluctant, it listened and nailed Beedrill right across the abdomen. Beedrill’s body went stiff before it landed on the ground unmoved, it was defeated just like that.
Many Beedrill had been defeated by this point. Seeing the situation and the defeat of their leader, some turned and fled. Infernape flipped and chopped one of the Beedrill on the head before attaching itself to Beedrill’s back for a safe landing.
Gan heard several notifications stating that Growlithe, Geodude, and Pidgeotto had leveled up. Geodude was now level 23, Growlithe was now 26, and Pidgeotto was at level 23.
The Beedrill Leader’s body spasmed and twitched every now and then. Gan started throwing Pokeballs around like a Baseball player at every single Beedrill. Royce knitted eyebrows as he watched from the side, he wondered why Gan would want to catch so my of these weak Pokemon.
“Geodude, drag that Beedrill over here. I wanna figure something out from this guy, he must know something.” Gan summoned Abra afterward. He could speak with Abra, and Abra naturally knew what Beedrill was saying.
Geodude didn’t hesitate in the slightest, he went over and dragged Beedrill to Gan by its leg.
“What are planning on doing with this Beedrill?” Royce was curious and asked. Camerupt, Infernape, and Growlithe walked over, while Pidgeotto landed near Gan’s side.
“Answers..” Gan glared at the unconscious Beedrill knowingly.
