Pokemon: Ultimate Generations - Chapter 66
Gan woke up the next day and got out of bed to stretch and do his morning workout. He didn’t eat because he was actually still somewhat full from eating yesterday. After his workout, Gan brushed his teeth before gazing at the suitcase near his bed.
“This was the reward, this is the money I got for practically doing nothing.” In fact, Gan had benefited a lot yesterday. Gan opened the suitcase and saw that there was money inside, as expected.
“Not bad. I’ve earned ₱50,000 which brings me to a total of ₱241,000.” Gan dumped all of the money from the suitcase into his storage, along with the suitcase just in case he wanted to use it to hold something else later.
Afterward, Gan summoned Kadabra and said. “I need to change your Pokeball, it may possibly bring me unnecessary trouble if you keep your current one.” Kadabra’s current Ultra ball was a little suspicious, but it could always just be a coincidence. After all, Gan robbed Abra from that rich kid back then—who was currently dead.
However, would Gan take that chance? He thought not.
“Kadabra…” Kadabra nodded, it saw no problem with this. Gan summoned Graveler and had it destroy Kadabra’s Pokeball before using a Premier ball to recatch it.
“Hoho, it’s time for us to rollout out of here, hehe, get it,” Gan said to Graveler, jokingly. Graveler looked puzzled for a moment before it rolled right through the door and broke it down!
“Noo!” But it was far too late, the door had collapsed in its entirety!
“Kyaaaa~!” Some guy screamed like a girl once the door came crashing down.
….
Moments later, Gan was paying for the door that Graveler had broken down. Gan felt really dumbfounded, he didn’t think Graveler would actually roll through the door like that.
Graveler seemed to understand that it did something wrong and felt bad.
“This is the first, I’ve never seen a Pokemon break a door down in this Inn before. We have insurance, so you can pay half and you’re all set.” The old man didn’t hold it against Gan, he had seen this guy many times before.
“Goodness…” Gan still couldn’t believe what just happened.
“Grav…” Graveler tugged on Gan’s pants, seeming to say that it’s sorry.
“Don’t worry about it, it was something minor. Let’s keep it going, I need to buy more Pokeballs from the Pokemon Mart. But before that, I need to head off to the Pokemon Center to get these Pokemon healed.”
Gan didn’t worry about the damage, it was more of a surprise to him.
Gan didn’t recall Graveler back, instead, they both walked down the street together. This wasn’t anything out of the ordinary, so people would only look for a second before looking away. Gan knew exactly where the Pokemon Center was.
“As big as ever. This has to be the biggest friggin Pokemon Center in Kanto.” Gan walked inside, but there were no trainers around here. The only person that could be seen around was a nurse with green hair. As you would expect, she was sitting down behind a counter, when she looked up and saw Gan walk in.
“Sir, is there anything I can help you with?” Gan was the only one present, so she could help him right away.
“Yes, I need some Pokemon healed up. Some might be suffering from serious burns that need immediate attention.” Gan would normally have to bring them to the Pokemon Center right away from such things. However, he had a void space that completely halted things like this from becoming a major issue.
“Oh, my, how many Pokemon are there?” The nurse stood up quickly. If it was major, they needed to get to work right away. The healing machine could only do so much, it could heal minor wounds and fatigue.
“There are about forty-two of them that need some help, is this possible?” Gan said with a straight face.
“Excuse me, what did you say? I think I must have heard wrong or something.” The Nurse’s expression froze instantly, she thought she was hearing things!
“Uh…forty-two Poke-” Gan couldn’t finish in time.
“Forty-two?!” The nurse’s knees almost gave way when she heard that number, she was utterly shocked.
“Don’t ask how, it was an intense battle in Viridian Forest and this was the result. I need to heal them up asap, even if I have to pay something.” Gan didn’t want to hover over this subject for too long, he had to make move.
The nurse shot Gan an eye twitch glared that looked somewhat sinister before demanding his trainer ID.
‘Damn, b**ch, calm down!’ Gan’s expression darkened a bit, these nurses were nerve-wracking to him all of the time.
“Just do your damn job and heal my Pokemon! Here’s my ID, hurry up and get to work afterward!” Gan spoke coldly and took out his ID and tossed it on the counter.
“Y-you little!” The nurse gritted her teeth, she couldn’t believe someone would disrespect her so harshly like this.
Despite the nurse being furious, she checked his identity and confirmed that it was authentic. After which, Gan placed all of the Pokeballs in a basket that the nurse brought over. She continued to glare at Gan, with her glare growing intense with each Pokeball that dropped in.
Since Gan was a trainer, he didn’t have to pay anything unless he needed medication for his Pokemon. For example, Growlithe’s medicine, something Gan had to give her currently.
After dropping all of the Pokeballs into the basket like a waterfall, Gan grinned at the nurse smugly before taking a seat in the lobby. He summoned Growlithe and proceed to feed her the medicine she was prescribed. Gan also recalled Graveler once he summoned Growlithe.
“They’ll be finished and ready to pick up by tomorrow, hmph!” The nurse sniffled coldly before ignoring Gan. After hearing the timeline, Gan didn’t stick around and went straight to the Pokemart to stock up on Pokeballs.
“That little a**hole!” The nurse glared at the door Gan just left out of with anger.
Moments later, Gan was once again walking the streets where he could see some people setting up their stalls again.
“Why is the Pokemon Mart so distant from the Pokemon Center? They need to make this more convenient for trainers.” Gan complained slightly, but this was just him being upset about that annoying nurse from before.
Gan headed to his next destination to buy some Pokeballs. This time, he bought 100 of them and was given 10 free Premier balls. The sale for Premier balls was ending next month, so it was the best time to buy them or many other Pokeballs to get them freely.
Gan organized his Inventory by putting things with things they ȧssociated with. He had a Thunderstone, but he wanted to use this later. Gan had to buy more stones once he was back in Celadon since this was the only place you could buy them.
“It should take some time for me to run out of Pokeballs, this will do for the time being.” Gan stretched his arm into the air upon leaving the Pokemon Mart before heading down to Pallet Town.
“Man, I think I should get a bicycle or something, maybe a Pokemon that can carry or fly me around,” Gan remembered how easy things were when he was with Royce, that Rapidash made life so much easier.
Gan continued down route, he had already organized his items away from his Team Rocket things. Within ten minutes, he was in the same forest that was located near Pallet Town.
Gan summoned a few of his Pokemon, such a Pidgeotto, Machoke, Graveler, Kadabra, and both Nido’s to keep a lookout. Kneeling down onto the grass, he pulled out his spy fly gear, something he wanted to learn how to use.
“Okay, two come in a pack. The controller has a screen on it that can see and hear everything the spy fly does.” Gan felt like he was in some sort of spy movie where they would always pull out some cool tech like this.
Gan opened the pack which surprisingly came with instructions. This wasn’t something just sold in stores around here; this Team Rocket was indeed organized! Gan read the instruction first which made knowing how to use it far easier.
There were two particular buŧŧons on the controller that had labeled numbers above them; being one and two. These numbers represented each spy fly bot he was given, with the colors being blue and red. To tell which color belonged to whichever spy bot; they both had the eyes to match their respective colors.
One with Blue tinted compound eyes and one with Red tinted compound eyes. Gan started to use the Red tinted spy bot, controlling it to fly around.
“It’s really no different than flying around a drone from my world, the difficulty depends really.” Gan played around with the drone for a bit, but not for too long. It was no telling if a Pidgey would pop out of the woodworks and eat the mini drone, believing it to be food.
Afterward, Gan went over his Team Rocket suit, it was all black with a few black and white stripes here and there. His outfit sported a hood that was accommodated with a hazmat mask similar to Vectors from resident evil.
The lens’ on the mask was red, which gave off an ominous glow when reflected on the moon’s light at night. The boots were black, something he had made sure to announce when having them made, or they would have given him the default white ones.
“Very nice, my ideal suit! I won’t even have to worry about the stench of Grimer and later, Muk, at the time.” The suit and mask were really high quality, so no smell or gas would leak. He wouldn’t even be affected by Stuns and Flashbangs when he used them.
Gan was also glad to know that his voice would change just by wearing the mask, and also the fact that it had night vision as well!
“Alright, let’s head to Pallet Town and investigate a bit. I hope I don’t run into that Pink chick while I’m there.” Gan would have to avoid her, he didn’t want to see her until the appointed time had come.
Gan finished checking his inventory of Team Rocket items, before recalling his Pokemon and heading towards Pallet Town.
