Pokemon: Ultimate Generations - Chapter 69
Gan’s breath had sped up from the first sight of them; there was no doubt that these were Mega stones! Prof. Oak was probably doing some research on these recently. Gan was also excited that he could possibly get his hands on some Mega stones now.
There were about 14 Mega stones on the long table, with some notes beneath them as well.
“The room is dark, so I can’t tell what color the Mega stones are.” Gan could see things with night vision, but he couldn’t distinguish what color was what, in the dark.
Gan calmed himself down and controlled the drone to fly around the room. He was looking for a Mega ring—if there happened to be one lying around. Gan didn’t see any Mega rings sitting around, the only relevant thing around was the Mega stones here.
Gan could read the notes with the night vision, and sure enough, they showed which Mega stone was which. Most of the Mega stones here were related to Pokemon affiliated with the Kanto and Johto Region.
There were very few stones affiliated with Johto here since out of Johto and Sinnoh, they both had the lowest Mega Evolution line. One had to know that Hoenn had the most Mega Evolutionary line of Pokemon, which the next set of notes wrote out about.
It stated that Mega Evolution was making a strong appearance in the Hoenn and Kalos Region. This little piece of news caused Gan to once again be filled with joy, this meant so much to him. A determined light flicker in his visor, he wanted to take all of these Mega stones away—if possible!
“Hahaha! Nice! Haunter and you two, you’ll be heading to that residence down belong to steal. Haunter, you saw everything just now, I want the marked Pokeballs and a bunch of random ones while you’re at it.”
Haunter was watching from beginning to end, so she knew exactly where the lab was and what to do. Haunter nodded before gazing at the other two Gastly, who was going to join her.
“Gastly!” Gastly said a few things to Haunter, as she updated them on more information. In the next moment, their figures flew off towards Prof. Oak’s lab.
Gan took the initiative to maneuver the drone back to the Pokeball storage room. This was the biggest room down here. It was filled with Pokeballs, if Gan could stop time and take everything here, he would have done it by now.
Gan checked the drone’s power and saw that it was at sixty-seven percent.
“The battery power is quite good on these, I’ll have to charge it later.” They must always be ready for use when he needed them.
“Kadabra, take me to the top of the tree over there, I want to monitor to see if there’s any serious movement at the lab.” Gan pointed to a tall tree and ordered.
Kadabra nodded and they both began to levitate off the ground before appearing at the top of the tree. Gan stood on the sturdy tree limbs and took out his binoculars to see the situation at Prof. Oak’s house/lab.
…..
-Oakland Forest.
“Stop with the petty tricks, all you do is hit and run!” Saffron’s Machop couldn’t land a hit on Gray’s Eevee, who was faster than it.
“It’s a simple strategy. Besides, you’re Machop is a fighting type, so Eevee can’t afford to be hit.” Gray said nonchalantly, he could care less about what Saffron thought.
“We’ll see how long you can keep it up.” Saffron grinned, he had an idea.
“Eevee, use Quick Attack and back off immediately afterward.” Gray pointed and said.
“Evo~!” Eevee rushed Machop but not before running around it to attack its blindside.
‘Wait for it…’ Saffron thought to himself. He could see Machop looking at him, and waiting for its next command, it didn’t want to continue being hit without being able to retaliate.
“Bullet Punch, then follow it up with a Bulldoze!” Just when Eevee was close enough, Saffron hollered out.
Machop’s fist moved fast, as it was suddenly coated in silver chrome with dim white lining around it fist.
Machop moved fast, which stunned Eevee, it didn’t see this coming.
“Dodge to the side!” Gray hurriedly and said.
“Hehehe! Too late!” Saffron laughed haughtily before Machop’s fist landed on Eevee’s forehead.
“Evoy~!” The clash pushed both parties back, but Eevee was clearly hurt from taking a fist to the forehead.
Machop didn’t stop, it quickly used the ground as leverage, by kicking off of it and arriving in front of Eevee. Eevee was tackled with a Bulldoze and sent flying, all the while, its body lit up with blue light for a split second.
Its speed had been lowered.
“Now, I’m faster!” Saffron’s Machop was now faster than Eevee. Despite taking two direct hits from Machop, it still stood up.
“Man, that’s one thing I don’t like between your Eevee and Lavender’s Eevee. Your Eevee never knows when to stay down, it doesn’t know what’s good for it.” Saffron frowned. Lavender’s Eevee was much easier to take down once it was hit hard enough or enough.
“Keep dreaming if you think you can decisively take down my buddy here. Are you good to go, Eevee?” Gray scoffed at Saffron before turning to his Eevee and asking.
“Evo!” Eevee responded with a serious expression, but no matter what, its expression looked too cute to be taken seriously.
Yellow sighed in relief, as she watched the battle with interest. Pink nodded with a smile, while her Clefairy basked in the moonlight.
Meanwhile, Yellow’s Pikachu climbed a tree to search for some fruits it could eat. However, once it reached the top of the tree, it saw something that interested it.
“Pika…” Pikachu gazed across the way, where there was another sector of the forest they were currently in. Under the moonlight, it saw some reflecting lights coming from another treetop.
Pikachu scrunched its eyes to see better, and that figure came into view.
He was wearing all black and using something to look down at the nice Professor’s lab. This is what Pikachu clearly thought of Professor Oak, the nice guy. Pikachu instantly knew something was off, so it quickly rushed down the tree.
“Pika Pika!” Pikachu came over to Yellow in a hurry, it was pointing with its little arms, trying to tell her something.
“Chuchu, what’s wrong?” Yellow asked. She hadn’t seen her Pikachu this distraught about something before.
“Okay, let’s stop here.” Saffron decided to end the battle, this was going nowhere, and fast at that.
“Sound good to me, this battle isn’t meant to be serious. We’ll get serious when we have a whole team in the future. That’ll be the day that you’ll get destroyed by me.” Gray smirked and said.
“Talk about dreaming, I think your brain is fried from sleeping during the day from having the sun beaming on your head.” Saffron scoffed.
Clefairy could easily understand what Pikachu was saying, so it turned to the distraught Pikachu with a strange expression.
“What’s wrong with that rat, why is it barking so much?” Saffron walked over, this Pikachu wouldn’t shut up.
“She started acting like this after coming down from the tree, I think she saw something. I don’t know.” Yellow’s expression fell, why does this guy always say the most annoying things?
At that time, Clefairy skipped over towards Pink’s leg.
“Clefairy, is there something wrong with Pikachu? What happened and what is she saying?” Pink was curious and asked.
Clefairy made many funny and strange body gestures. She was acting like a villain while laughing evilly with her act.
“This Clefairy can perform pretty well, hahaha!” Gray laughed and shook his head. Eevee also listened to Clefairy and Pikachu, and what they were saying wasn’t good.
“What? Something bad is happening?” Gray looked at his Eevee, who landed on his shoulders. It started acting strange as well from hearing their words.
“All three of your Pokemon need counseling or something; or this could be some type of disease! Keep them away from my Machop!” Saffron hurriedly and recalled his Machop, afraid that it might catch this disease.
“Stop acting so ignorant!” Pink glared at Saffron, this guy never knew when to shut up.
Before Saffron could reply, Pikachu ran off, while Clefairy followed. It didn’t take long before Eevee jumped off of Gray’s shoulder and followed as well.
“What? Hey! Follow them!” Gray’s expression changed and he was the first to make a move.
“Dang it!” Pink also followed with a bit of annoyance. Yellow trailed behind her, she was shocked that her Pikachu would run off like this so suddenly.
“Hey, are you guys kidding me?!” Saffron was speechless. Nevertheless, he also followed in line, right behind them.
…
-Professor Oak’s Lab
“Haunter, Haunter!” Haunter pointed in a direction and the Gastly duo simply followed her and nodded.
They could see perfectly in the dark, even distinguishing between colors wasn’t a problem for them. They quickly arrived in the part that was filled with Pokeballs.
At this time, Professor Oak was sitting in his chair on some I-pad looking device. Suddenly, the alarm went off, it wasn’t loud but it wasn’t silent either.
“The motion detectors have gone off?” Oak was surprised and quickly brought up a monitor. At the same time, Blue walked in after hearing the alarm.
“Gramps, what’s going on?” Blue asked right away before his gaze landed on the screen.
“This is bad!” Oak’s expression was a sight to behold, it was so grave that it caused Blue’s heart to skip a beat. Oak pressed a buŧŧon close by, this buŧŧon wasn’t simple at all.
This buŧŧon would summon all of the Beginner League Trainers and Poké League Trainers. They all respect Oak highly, and they were acting as bodyguards. They could be considered to be on their way at this very moment!
“We have intruders!” Professor Oak quickly opened his desk and grabbed three Pokeballs before running to his lab door.
“Intruders?” Who would have such nerve?! Blue was stunned and followed behind him in a hurry.
