Pregnant At Seventeen Of Triplets - Chapter 62
Oh, dear Lord!
John‟s Point a view
A tree branch had fallen off one of the big oak trees, half of it was lying across Amelia‟s legs and there was blood coming from her head. I ran over, hoping to Lord that she was ok. “Amelia?” I asked when I reached her, checking to see if she was conscious or not.
The wind was blowing so strongly that I had to force myself to stay in the one position, debris was blowing around, and crashing into trees and other sold objects. I looked back down at Amelia and she was defiantly unconscious.
I tried to move the branch from her legs but it was very heavy. I kept trying and after about half an hour of solid muscle work, I managed to move it enough to get Amelia out from under it. By now there was rain pelting down, so hard that I could feel it scratching my skin.
I took off my jacket and put around Amelia, carefully picking her up, careful not to hurt anymore than she already was. It was tough getting back to the cabin; the weather had taken a turn for the worse. When we finally made it I took Amelia into the bedroom and placed her on the bed, then going in search for a first aid kit.
I said calmly She looked at me panicked; I hated to see her like this. Why couldn’t we have a normal life? A life where nothing went wrong and we were together and happy as a big family. “What happened?” She asked, barely audible, ignoring my advice to say lying down. I put my hand on her shoulder and gently forced her to lie down.
“You are so pushy” she muttered but staying down this time. I laughed at her, even like this I still loved her and she could funny. “Ok, stay down and I will go find a first aid kit,” I said with authority, then left to find the elusive first aid kit.
I finally found it under the kitchen sink about twenty minutes later. I ran back upstairs to see Amelia sitting up in bed. I got a little angry. “Amelia, what the hell are you doing?” I asked “I got bored and you were gone so long, so I thought that I might get up,” she said meekly giving me a puppy dog face. Damn, that had always worked on me, and she knew that all too well.
“One, that is not fair, two sorry it took so long and Three, get back into bed now”, I said sternly, she looked at me like she was going to tell me to go to hell, but she got back into bed, trying to hide the wince of pain. I internally sighed, how could she be so stupid?
“So…” she said while I started to clean the wound on her head. “So… what?” I replied cautiously “cheese, I do not know! What can we talk about?” “How about why the hell you were out in a huge storm!? Did you not think that maybe you should get home?”
“Hey!” she yelled and winced, “that is not fair I was on my way home” I hated to see her in pain, and arguing was hurting her. The cut on her head was nasty, but not life-threatening, which was good.
We both were silent for the next twenty or so minutes when I was finishing cleaning her injuries. Now and then I felt her eyes focus on me, but when I turned to look at her, she had turned her head.
I had, however, notice a faint blush on her face that gave her away. I felt a warm feeling course through my body when she was looking at me, but she was in no mood to have intimate right now. Even if she was, I was sure that she didn’t love me, not as I love her. If she loved me then she would have said yes, to marry me; she didn’t.
