Prehistoric Era - Chapter 3
“Give up Amanda, you and your people are already surrounded” Leon said with a playful chuckle.
“We will never surrender to a bastard like you!” Amanda shouted angrily while her tribesmen roared, trying to raise morale. All of them already accepted death.
“Kukuku, if you all die here, what will happen to your people that you left at your camp? Those pitiful women, children, the crippled and the elderly, they won’t be able to survive long without your protection, you know. But do not worry, we will protect them but in exchange we will at least enjoy your women, isn’t that eight men?” Leon evilly laughed while giving a disdaining look at Amanda.
“Haha, you wish. Did you really think we didn’t came prepared? We already sent them to a safe place where you bastards will never find them” Amanda said with a mocking tone.
“Heh, It seems you people already resigned to your deaths but have no fear Amanda, you should know that I’ve wanted you for a long time but you kept rejecting my advances so I will keep you alive. After I kill all your men, I will make sure to enjoy you first till i grew bored of you before letting my men have a taste of you” Leon had a darkened look when he heard that they relocated their entire but then he was laughing maniacally as he said that while his people roared in excitement at thought of having a go with a beauty of another caliber like Amanda.
“Yo-you bastard! Men! As your chief, I am proud to have warriors like you who have fought valiantly with me in the face of death. If they kill one of ours then we will kill 10 of them! Do you understand!?” Amanda rallied her warriors and her people roared with her but it was so intimidating this time that the opposing group even flinched that even their mounts took a step back.
“For Gaia!” roared Amanda as she charged toward her enemies.
“For Gaia! For The Chief!” her warriors roared with her and also charged at the same time as they emitted a frightening blood-lust.
Because of their sudden momentum, Leon’s men was caught off guard and was forced to slowly retreat while their companions fell from the blades of their enemies.
“Fools! They are already cornered, why are you all backing away! Kill them all!” Leon harshly yelled and headed towards the location of Amanda while killing anyone that obstructed his path.
Leon’s men jolted awake from his sudden yell and at the same time regained clarity within their minds. All of them felt embarrassed from being pushed back by an enemy they already regarded as prey and all of them felt rage burning inside as they also released a War-cry. So another great battle ensued.
After a few minutes, the battle finally came to a conclusion. Amanda’s group were only left with over a hundred of them from their original number of almost reaching one thousand. All them battered and heavily wounded while some can be seen gritting their teeth still trying to stay awake wanting to bring more enemies down with them before falling in battle.
“You have lost! I’ll ask you one last time! Surrender or faced Death!” Leon shouted with a bloodied look while pointing his weapon towards Amanda, who’s also covered in blood while panting heavily.
Before Amanda could say anything someone uttered a yell.
“Death To All Enemies!” someone shouted among them and the others also seconded it.
“Death To All Enemies! Death To All Enemies! Death To All Enemies!”
“You heard them, this battle will only conclude when the other side is annihilated and we don’t mind dying because.Kukuku” Amanda snickered at Leon and released a mocking.
Leon wanted them to surrender because he doesn’t want to suffer more casualties. He brought 2000 warriors with him but almost half have already fallen. He was worried that if they continue to fight, he will have more casualties. Even though they would win this fight, it can’t considered a victory, with how many he just lost. It would be surprising if those other tribes wouldn’t try to pick a fight at them. That’s the reason Leon wanted them to surrender and plans to kill them later on once they drop their weapons. After all, he also knows that a cornered prey becomes far more dangerous and unafraid of death like what the remaining warriors of the Tribe of Akalu is showing right now.
“Y-you!” Leon gritted his teeth from anger when he saw that they would rather choose death than to surrender, especially when he saw the mockery in Amanda’s eyes, who figured out his worries.
“Don’t blame me for this! Men! Leave Amanda alive and kill the rest!” Leon booming voice sounded but just after he shouted those words. A huge explosion occurred from their back lines. Leon and his men halted their charge and looked behind them as they saw big and small rocks flying in the air and killing those unfortunate warriors who got struck in the head.
When he saw that they are being attacked from behind when victory is almost at their hands, Leon’s anger reached its peak as he shouted in rage. “What the heck is happening at the back!?”
A few seconds later, he saw an injured warrior riding on his mount as it headed towards him.
“What is happening!”
“Ch-chief! A strange man suddenly attacked us and our brothers are getting killed without even being able to retaliate!” man stuttered for a second when he saw the dark look on Leon’s face.
“Fools! You can’t even stop a single man!” Leon shouted in rage.
“But Chief he had this strange huge weapon that can easily slice our weapons in half” the man hurriedly explained as he broke down in cold sweat when he remembered his brothers getting killed by a single slash.
“Hahahaha! Ohh, what joy!” a sudden laughter of a woman boomed.
Leon heard Amanda’s laughter but just decided to ignore her because he can still see that his men at the back are getting themselves killed one by one, he even saw an entire half of a man’s body flying.
“The 300 of you will stay here and watch them, the rest follow me!” Leon ordered some of his men to keep watch of Amanda while he planned to take the rest.
Just as they were about to move, a sudden playful tone was heard.
“You don’t need to come see me because I’m already here”
