President’s Sweet Wife - Chapter 14
No more interviews. I don’t know why, but he said it’s next time.”
Shen Miaomiao’s eyes widened as she turned her head and sat beside Lu Qingzhou.
“Your husband is a real talent. Is he here for the interview or is he here to be the Terminator? So many people are looking forward to this opportunity to become a giraffe, but he’s not going to choose.”
“Maybe there’s something else.”
Lu Qingzhou hadn’t followed Feng Ziyan for long, who knew what he was thinking.
Before long, everyone in the corridor had left. Finally, the door to the judges’ classroom opened as well. The golden-haired man was the first to walk out, but he was not with them.
Feng Ziyan expressionlessly walked past Lu Qingzhou, as if she was as transparent as the air. Shen Miao curled her lips and rolled her eyes at Feng Ziyan’s back.
“Little girl, with just one look, you’re going to have our CEO Feng fire the company’s most promising rookie — male lead, awesome!”
A middle-aged man wearing glasses gave a fake smile as he lowered his head and gave a thumbs up to Lu Qingzhou who was sitting down. Shen Miaomiao looked at Lu QingZhou with a confused expression: “What’s the situation?”
After school, Lu Qingzhou dragged his tired body back to his apartment in frustration.
As Sister Xia had said, Feng Ziyan was indeed at home.
Her little face flickered with surprise as she ducked into the living room.
Feng Ziyan sat on the sofa with her legs crossed and the iPad resting on her lap. One of her hands was on the back of the sofa while the other was constantly moving the screen.
“Didn’t you report to the administration of industry and commerce? Why did you enter the acting arts department? ”
Feng Ziyan’s voice suddenly rang out. Lu Qingzhou was sure that he did not even lift his head, but he knew that she had returned.
“How dare you, use our family’s money to study the performing arts. Aren’t you afraid that I’ll report you to my grandfather?”
Lu Qingzhou’s heart leaped to her throat. She had been a little too cautious when she graduated, and on the last day after filling in her aspiration form, she went to the office and changed the form. She had always been obedient, so Old Master Feng and the Feng couple never suspected that she would do something against them.
Lu Qingzhou’s back was facing Feng Ziyan and every nerve in her body was stretched taut. She thought that he would continue to question her, but she did not know how to explain it to him. However, after standing there for a while, she found that there was no sound.
Feng Ziyan’s hand continued to slide across the iPad, and Lu Qingzhou bit her lips, until Sister Xia came out carrying the soup, and saw her surprise: “Miss, you’re back. “Hurry up and wash your hands and eat.”
Sister Xia then turned her sharp eyes to Feng Ziyan, “Young Master, let’s eat.”
“Yes.”
Feng Ziyan continued to move, not even lifting her head.
As if receiving a special pardon, Lu Qingzhou heaved a long sigh of relief and strode into the kitchen.
Sister Xia’s cooking skills were quite good. Lu QingZhou and Feng Ziyan especially liked to eat the fish she made. The rich aroma of the fish soup was enough to make one sick of it. Usually, when Feng Zi Yan was not around, Lu Qingzhou would be able to chat while eating with Sister Xia. Now, when Feng Zi Yan was present, they were all quiet and did not make any noise.
Lu Qingzhou trembled as she finished her dinner. Feng Ziyan did not ask her about anything until before she went to sleep, but Lu Qingzhou’s nerves had been tense for the entire day. It took her a lot of effort to finish her homework.
Feng Ziyan turned off the light in the master bedroom and turned on the bedside lamp. Because Lu Qingzhou was too tired, she slept soundly and did not feel that someone was staring at her sleeping face.
Feng Ziyan’s cell phone vibrated in her pocket. For fear of disturbing Lu Qingzhou, he turned off the ringtone the moment he entered the room. Seeing the name on it, he went out and opened the phone.
“Is everything ready?”
Feng Ziyan stood in the hallway, keeping his voice low. A faint sigh came from the other end of the phone, “Boss Feng, is there really a need to ban him? After all, A’Kai did not mean to do it. ”
“I won’t let anyone who hurts the light boat get away.”
Feng Ziyan’s eyes flashed with coldness, and the sighing voice from the other end of the phone continued: “What’s the point? “As long as you treat her well, that’s fine. I was the one who answered the phone the last time. She won’t misunderstand us, right?”
