Princess Of The Insurgents - Chapter 49 Sometimes Shes Really Lovely.
“I’m not going lie to you, your training will certainly be very long and really tedious, but it’s necessary so that disasters like the one that happened in Little Rock never happen again. Jane, as you are now, you are a time bomb. Don’t think we didn’t notice the anomalies that happen around you. In your presence, our personal assistants became erratic. Sometimes they were so unstable that they could no longer be used.
Jane, I’ll confess something to you. You’re full of leaks. By that I mean that you can’t channel the monstrous amount of brain waves your Satoine continually generates. Since you are unable to control them, they dissipate everywhere around you and has the effect to propagate of small electromagnetic waves that affect the proper functioning of objects containing electrical, or computer equipment.
More uncomfortable for you: All the efforts you make to control your power that should not exist are proving to be counterproductive.
An example to prove to you that what I am saying is true. In the test you performed in my presence, Johnny and I noticed that you can read minds. This proves that you can get inside other people’s minds, but what do you do with that gift? Do you communicate with the Transmitters or do you take control of the thoughts and emotions of those you infiltrate like the Whisperers do?
As I suspected, neither. You know Jane, we’ve been watching you for a long time and we’ve noticed that you don’t communicate with anyone. In the same way, we know you’re incapable of manipulating the will of your targets.
Knowing you and knowing how stubborn you are, I am sure that once you acquired the ability to penetrate the brains of others, you did everything you could to repress this gift. However, for someone like you, this method will not work. You must also consider that it is not impossible that one day, unintentionally, you may be the author of a tragedy, a massacre that you will regret all your life.
for visiting.
Imagine that your anger suddenly takes over. It would then be very possible that you would completely relax your vigilance and at that moment, your mental waves that have been kept under pressure for too long would explode and could eventually spread out in a wide radius. This bubbling flow would then be able to exterminate all those into whom they infiltrate. You don’t have a choice Jane, for yourself and for others, you must learn to master this power of yours.
In order for you to fully dedicate yourself to your training, I have sent more than 90 men in search of your human friends. If they are still in the South, I can guarantee that they will find them. I want to make you my strength, and although it will take time, when you are ready, I will send you to places where you can face those who made the world what it is.”
Jane can’t answer all of Cindy’s affirmations. Everything she just said is so right, it’s almost scary. As soon as her abilities awakened within her and and that she was overwhelmed by the multitude of thoughts she at first took for voices, she devoted herself to repressing them.
Since that incident, has always tried to control this capacity that is beyond her and causes her terrible headaches. The truth is, while telekinesis is fun, the influx of thoughts is terrifying.
She too has often wondered why, despite the fact that it can invade the minds of others, she is unable to share her thoughts with a Transmitter or take control of a man. However, unable to grasp these overly abstract concepts, she has ended up focusing on what she is good at.
“Thank you for help me find my friends.”
Cindy, look at Jane’s beautiful, sincere face full of gratitude and think that sometimes that little girl can be really Lovely. Yet she moderates that thought and a phrase escapes her.
“Too bad it’s so rare.”
“What’s too bad? What’s rare?”
“Nothing, little Princess! Sit down here, my men are coming with the first prisoners.”
07th May 2168
Jane, is banging furiously against the oval table. She’s been locked in this empty room for over four months with light grey walls as cheerful as those that adorn prison cells, yet her progress is far from obvious.
Here, not a thought from outside can reach her. Logically, therefore, she could concentrate on her training and make rapid progress, but it’s not that simple.
Jane lowers her head, took a few deep breaths to calm down, and then adjusts the small helmet on her head that is supposed to contain her excess brain waves.
Soothed, she repositions her hand on the handle facilitating the transfer of waves to the receiver held by the prisoner. After regaining her concentration, Jane doesn’t lose a moment and plunges back into the thoughts of the terrorized man.
The former member of a gang that tyrannized the people of a small village, trembles with fear when a voice from nowhere starts whispering to her to get up and murder the second prisoner who is chained in the right corner of the room.
This mental torture has been going on for more than six hours. The man thinks he is going mad. Often, in order to stop this torture, he has wanted to grab the long knife placed in front of him and stab the one who is none other than his brother. However, despite all his efforts, he was unable to stand up.
Jane serves the teeth. For a man to obey her, he must be under her full influence. If he wishes to kill the target she has entrusted to him only to free himself, the gravity amplified by ten that keeps his lower body immobile, will not be removed.
Jane’s beautiful face tightens when she sees the man suddenly turn pale. Her fear is confirmed when a fountain of blood pours from each of his orifices. Faced with this man who, like all the others, wobbles for a moment and collapses on the table, Jane leans against the back of her chair.
“This immaterial screen is nevertheless practical. Without it, all the pretty clothes Cindy offered me would now be just as good in the trash. Why do I have to think about this now? I don’t have time to worry about such trivia. Guards, bring me two more interdependent prisoners, mine are still completely broken.”
