PS I’m (not) Over You - Chapter 49:The Other Side of Love (3)
Jeff came back from the other room and showed Ririna the data they have gathered from the flash drives Eli sent to them the other day. There were four of them each was secured with different kinds of codes to protect its contents. Ririna received the printed files and scanned each of them, her brows furrowing in concentration.
“These are the details we were able to retrieve. Not all of them has stored data. It seems the data are newly acquired.” Jeff monotone voice explained the details.
On the first page of the file was something very familiar to her. A blueprint of a house with a three-story building, a nearby swimming pool and a separate greenhouse at the back of the house. The layout of each room is so familiar that Ririna thought she has seen this place before. Where has she seen it?
Ririna rubbed her chin and stares down at the blueprint. She flipped the page to the next one and saw another blueprint. It was smaller compared to the previous one. The layout isn’t the same as the house as it is longer and has several secret passages and rooms.
Looking at it, her mind started to map out the layout of the plan in her mind. The spacious hallways, huge rooms filled with apparatus and boxes. Her early childhood memories flashed through her mind. She knows this place. It is her mother’s personal manor.
“How come they have this blueprint?” Ririna asked herself. Her face contorted with confusion.
“What is it?” Erica looked over Ririna’s shoulder.
“It is my mom’s house on the Eastern Province.”
“Weird. Why did they have something like this?”
“I’m not sure why. Maybe I should check my mom’s manor. I haven’t seen it for years.” Ririna replied. She turned her head to Jeff and gave a polite thanks before getting up from her seat and follow Angela who already walked ahead of them.
“I’m sorry. Those are the only ones we have retrieved from those flash drives. I’m not sure what’s the purpose of the blueprint and the medical records,” Angela said as she escorted the three ladies behind her.
“It’s alright. I’m not expecting much from this data. I just hope we could find out soon what they really want from me,” Ririna replied.
When the three slipped into the car, Angela bid them goodbye and waved at them. She was left standing alone in the parking lot as the car drove away from S&S Enterprise. Looking at her side view mirror, Sara watched as Angela still waved at them as they left.
“Do you think he knows?” Sara asked out of nowhere.
Erica who was driving the car shrugged her shoulders.
“Perhaps not. Some guys tend to be dumb to realize someone is in love with them.” She said.
Ririna who was busy flipping the pages of the file on the backseat looked up and shook her head. Based on what she had seen earlier, he probably knows about Angela’s feelings.
“He knows,” she said.
“Really?”
“You haven’t seen him following us. I bet he’s waiting for Angela.”
“Then why didn’t he say anything?”
“Who knows?”
Ririna returned to her files and flipped on the last page. On it she saw her medical records as a young girl with all of the drugs listed beneath it. A shudder run throughout her body. Memories of her nightmare leaking out from her deepest secrets.

Eli watched Skyler as the young boy approached his best friend who is still seated in a wheelchair. Jiro’s recovery is almost complete but still, he needs more time to get his health back. The boys were playing some kind of Mario Kart on the huge television in the living room.
Jiro’s laugh filled the room while Sky silently giggled beside him.
His phone beeped from his pocket alerting him from an incoming message. Turning it on, he saw Ririna’s message telling him that she will drop by her office before following them to his father’s mansion.
Gabriel Park passed on Eli’s back seeing the two kids busy playing with their consoles. Good thing Evan recommended to add some games to their entertainment set for the kids to play with. Looking at his eldest son, he wondered if Eli can make a difference now that he is also a father.
“Eli, why wouldn’t you help us?” Gabriel groaned. They were busy preparing for the family dinner tonight since it is going to be special because Ririna and Skyler are attending.
This is also a good time for him and his two sons to discuss whatever they plan to do against Hattori and the Underworld minions. Things are getting seriously dangerous now that Skyler is involved.
“We’re your guests not your maids and butlers,” Eli replied without looking at his father and continued to type a message to reply to Ririna.
“I am just asking for a little help. We need to put the garbage outside for easier cleaning later.”
“Evan can easily take himself outside with no help needed.”
“Hey. I heard that!” A familiar voice interrupts their conversation.
Evan who just arrived with two big shopping bags on his hands scowled when he heard his older brother. Too rude and evil. He only wished Skyler hadn’t inherited his father’s arrogance.
