Psycho X Psychic - Chapter 236
“T-teren..!”
It took Chihua a moment but he was flabbergasted the moment he realized who was in front of him.
Teren’s mood soured. He didn’t think Chihua was a problem but rather, a bother. Furthermore, his timing couldn’t get worse since he has Trisha with him right now. There’s no way that Chihua will not recognize Trisha even with his disguise, right?
Meanwhile, Chihua immediately noticed Trisha. She seemed familiar and her face was suspiciously covered.
‘But Boss wouldn’t walk behind someone.’
Against every reason, Chihua didn’t think that Trisha was the one who was besides Teren at that moment.
“Hello, this is unexpected.”
Teren simply greeted but has an aura that says ‘don’t bother me’.
However, that aura just passed over Chihua’s head. He was was more concerned about something.
“This is perfect, I wanted to talk to you.”
Meanwhile, Trisha stiffened up. Was she not recognized? How? Consciously acting is one thing that she’s not confident about, unfortunately so she just shut up.
‘But Chihua’s face seemed to sunken lately. I wonder what’s plaguing him?’
Trisha asked inwardly but soon shrugged her shoulders. She was completely unaware of how big is her existence to his life. Sometimes she would tease him but she even thought that Chihua was relieved to see that she’s gone. There is no longer someone who will always order him around and call him her dog.
Although she was surprised back then when she learned that Chihua approached Teren that she’s well. But at the same time, Trisha would do the same for anyone so she thought it was natural.
“What… is it?”
But Trisha did notice that Teren seemed to be bothered by Chihua so she smirked behind the facemask, enjoying his troubled face.
“You said that you will give me proof that Boss is fine. But I didn’t receive anything yet.”
Chihua was about to raise his voice but restrained himself. Not letting Teren reply, he continued.
“I already did what you said. I’ve made the Public open for your gang and they were there almost every day. Terrorizing everyone! You don’t know how scared the students of Public to them.”
“Did they hurt anyone?”
“Uhh… no but-”
“Then it’s their fault for being scared.”
Teren said as he took out his phone.
“But still! I did what you said, but I didn’t receive anything.”
‘Wow, Chihua has a lot of guts talking to Teren like that.’
Trisha was surprised since Chihua had always been passive and submissive towards her. She was sure that Teren showed the difference in their strength yet Chihua was raising his voice.
“Here, I’ve been busy so I didn’t have the time.”
Teren showed him the picture where Trisha took with Teren while his eyes got closed due to the flash.
Ignoring the massive cracks on Teren’s screen, Chihua looked at the image and found that it didn’t seem to be edited. Furthermore, her confident smile says everything.
Immediately, a ton of weight was lifted from his shoulders as his eyes began to spark life again.
“S-so she’s fine… I thought you’d done something to her.”
Chihua scratched his head as he felt ashamed.
‘Well, he did a lot of things, to be honest.’
Trisha inwardly commented as she blushed, remembering their last ‘activity’ She was glad that she had her facemask on. Surprisingly, that was the one that was stuck in her mind which she was trying to forget.
“Also, I want to apologize.”
Chihua then lowered his head as he began to sweat. However, he was determined to tell the truth.
“About what?”
Teren intrigued.
“Actually… um… actually, it’s nothing, haha…”
Chihua began to think of the things that Teren might do to him if he confessed. His determination immediately dwindled in a blink of an eye. He couldn’t say that he actually went against the deal and told Trisha’s mother about Teren and how he’s going to get proof that he took her.
However, the proof never came until now.
He thought that was the reason why Trisha’s family didn’t want to talk to him any further, leading him to depression. Chihua has no idea that it’s becuase Trisha talked to her family about it last night.
Furthermore, he learned that Teren’s influence extends when the assistant inspector told him that he should stop when the two of them met in Trisha’s residence the second time.
“If it’s nothing then it’s fine.”
Teren just turned a blind eye to it but Trisha elbowed him. She was curious. Teren was unaffected and just took the cart and moved on. Before he could though, Trisha pulled him and finally whispered.
“I want to know what happened! You haven’t finished your story earlier and now, my curiosity will be dissatisfied again!? He clearly did something wrong. Although you don’t need to be so harsh on him since he’s doing this for my sake, you should at least listen to him.”
“Ugh… fine…”
‘That girl with a blonde ponytail…’ Chihua watched this scene and thought, ‘She really reminds me of Boss.’
“Actually, Renz, I want to know.”
Teren called out suddenly which put Chihua on the spot. Seeing him getting in trouble, Trisha began to regret her decision.
“Hey, Teren, should I just tell him it’s me? I don’t know how he’s unable to recognize me but he should feel at ease and will surely talk about what he did wrong if he learned that it’s me.”
Trisha whispered again after pulling Teren’s shoulder towards her and leaning forward.
‘Yep, that’s not Boss. She’s a person who keeps her personal space.’
Chihua thought as he watched this while being nervous about what they were talking about.
“Hm, I’m not sure if you should do that. I’m new to this but I think the guy likes you. Wouldn’t it be harsher for him to know that it’s you? Actually, I don’t care, tell him if you want to.”
Teren then changed his mind and said.
“Of course, he likes me. Who wouldn’t!?”
“… I mean like as in love… that’s different.”
“What? Why would he love me? What’s his deal?”
Trisha frowned behind the disguise.
“No, what’s your deal? I think you’ve been harsher on him than I am to him.”
“Oh no… for Teren to say that I’m harsher than him. I have to rethink my life and talk to Chihua. I will gently say that I just think of him as a servant.”
Trisha deeply breathed and began to take this seriously.
‘Her words are very insulting yet I can’t blame her.’
Teren thought and watched how this will turn out to be.
