Psycho X Psychic - Chapter 251
Eron’s breathed fire that devoured every life in the vicinity. Unlike Ivan that blasts his fire in one straight line, Eron is just like the others, although more devastating and its burn is continuous, making the ground molten for every breath he takes.
“Sneaky little!”
Eron wanted to curse as he could still not catch Teren’s tail. The Drago Elites have exhausted their energy and were now resting in fear. Meanwhile, Eron didn’t seem to use his energy from how energetic he is. Furthermore, half of the fiery devastation came from him.
However, he does not know that Teren was already fighting for his life now. No matter how fast he is, if he’s surrounded by fire, there’s no escape.
“Teleporting would’ve been so convenient right now…”
Teren muttered as he sat down and tended his wounds. It would take him a while before he fully removes the cinders that kept eating up his skin then that’s when he could heal himself.
He is still against the whole Drago Elites together with Eron, a pureblooded. They didn’t simply catch him. They blocked the exits, tried to pinch him, and there were even times where they surrounded him. That’s why he would just charge out of the wall of flames.
Right now, he killed none but they were still resting. This is his chance. From a blindspot that Eron failed to notice, Teren was cautiously observing. He looked at the resting Elites and this was his chance to kill them… but he didn’t.
Thus, he stayed and recover his energy. That was when he heard a shout.
“Devil Himself, show yourself!”
Landing on the field of ashes, making them billow into dark mists, First shouted. Eron immediately noticed and reprimanded her.
“First, are you going against my word?”
“Uncle… Father just died.”
First didn’t say anymore but it was enough to make Eron silent. If he restrained her now, that would’ve backfired instead.
“Okay, but be careful, that man isn’t someone you can easily take on. You’re stronger but you lack the experience.”
First nodded upon Eron’s words.
“What is he planning to do?”
“I think he’s trying to escape, however, he should still be here somewhere. We’ve burned down the exits, among the dark ashes, we will definitely see his figure.”
Eron answered First’s question.
“Which means he’s still around here?”
“Maybe… near us, waiting a chance to strike.” Eron whispered, “There’s something confusing about him. We know for a fact that he no longer has any Spirit yet he has the Great Spirit of Healing.”
“You know for a fact but why did Uncle Ivan still invite him?”
First suspiciously looked at Eron. Now that she has time to calm down, she recalled the lack of wound in her father’s chest. However, why would his uncle lie to him? Furthermore, if he will, why would he do so blatantly?
Thinking about this, First shook her head while even Eron didn’t know how to answer that question.
“You watch and help whenever you can.” Eron pat First’s shoulder before turning to the resting Drago Elites, “Elites! Formation!”
The dozens of elites then disappeared but Eron already knew where they were as he flew off. He was their beacon so he didn’t turn invisible.
He pointed and signaled. Every move of his finger, a great blaze would burn over the land. In just a minute, the place that Teren was hiding was covered in a fire as he came out of it as well.
“There you are!”
The one who shouted was First, shocking Eron but what did he expect? The moment First saw Teren’s running figure, the fury and grief she was hiding just exploded.
Faster than even her uncle, First caught up to Teren like a jet plane. The flame in front of her protected her from the intense wind that could’ve skinned her.
Fwoosh-!*
Teren stopped as First landed in front of him with a boom.
“Devil… I don’t even know what to say to you. This is the first time I want to kill someone and will kill someone.”
But Teren didn’t wait for her to finish her words as he was already running. So, First waved both of her hands, creating walls of fire that surrounded Teren.
Normally, Teren would’ve just charged out but he didn’t. The fire this time was as strong as Eron which he was trying to avoid from the start.
A Pureblooded Drago Fire… Teren wouldn’t be able to survive if he were caught in that. With just one girl, Teren was locked. There was a huge gap between First and Eron. The latter needs multiple people to catch up to Teren for pinching and surrounding him. There’s a weak link. Meanwhile, the former is versatile, fast, and can do the pinching on her own.
Teren didn’t dilly dally. Even First didn’t think that Teren would appear before her.
Pak!*
“Argh!”
Teren charged through her as she was the only exit in the flaming cage. At the same time, Eron breathed intense flame in the middle of the cage. He was one second late as Teren have already run away when he punched First aside.
“Ka! Ah!”
First held her stomach in shock. She thought she would puke out her stomach from how strong Teren’s punch was. This pain though just fanned the flame of anger within her.
“First, are you oka-..?”
First didn’t seem to hear her uncle as she boomed away again, easily catching up to Teren. She’s scared but her fury was above everything. She felt like she would explode if she let Teren escape unscathed.
Her flamed turned into a glorious dragon figure without her knowing. Her eyes shone orange, yellow, and red. First became faster.
Teren glanced from behind him and rolled sideward, barely evading First’s charging dragon flame.
Without waiting for Teren to recover his speed, First spread the fire on her armor, letting the nearby plantlife be fuel. The larger the scale of the fire, the stronger the firepower she can control. Before any little embers dissipate, First extends her arm and waved it along the wall of flame. It was as if the wall of flame was an extension to her arm.
Teren sensed the danger that First emits. Therefore, before the wall of flame caught up to him, he kicked the ground with force.
Boom*
And appeared before First again. This was the second time already but it was faster than the last. Teren took her wrists and pinned her onto the ground. This was the moment where he could easily kill her…
But he didn’t.
