Queen Kohra - 20 20
Lesker
It has been four months since when we started what I call her sessions. The intensity varied with her moods. It also had something to do with the curse of her bloodline. I was just glad I was helping her in some ways.
She was also being nicer to me, in her own way of course. She made sure I was satisfied and pleasured during the sessions. It made my heart flutter. She also made sure to heal me with her kiss after each session.
The healing made my body harder and more durable. It infuriated Jayar during our spars, the fact he couldn’t hurt me very much.
I looked in the mirror one day and saw I looked very different from when I entered the palace. I felt I had changed and I even looked more handsome. I was attracting some attention, ones I didn’t like.
So, I decided to leave the palace without the royal entourage or escorts. I just wanted to see the capital city for myself. It was rumoured to be the best in the whole continent but I had only seen it from the inside of carriages.
I was set to leave till someone jumped in through my window. She stood there, proud of herself for what she had done.
“Princess Sephira, to what do I owe this pleasure?”
“Boo, you’re more confident now. I thought you would be shivering when you see me. You always seem to do that with Kohra”
“I could pretend if you like”
“I don’t want that. So, where are you off to?” she askes, looking me up and down.
Since I was caught, I felt there was no harm in telling her. I was planning on telling a member of the royal family anyways.
“Are you running away?” She asked when I took too long to reply.
“No, I’m going into the capital city. I wanted to tour it”
“Alone?”
“Yeah. I was planning on sneaking out before you came to interrupt me”
“haha Lesker, you’re hilarious. Do you really think it’s easy to sneak out of the palace? You’d be caught in less than a minute”
“Aw, that sucks. I really wanted to go out”
“I’ll come with you” she declared proudly.
“uhn, why?”
“Why not? I’m the perfect escort. I can protect you, take you to the hot spots, finance you, sneak you in and out”
“I was planning on going out without escorts but it seems like the cosmos don’t want me to leave here. I’ll just stay and continue my research”
“Ehn, but I just offered to take you”
“No thank you Princess Sephira. I’m not afraid of you doesn’t mean I’m not terrified by your antics”
“oh come on, it’ll be fun”
Here I was, standing at the edge of the palace wall, the princess convincing me to jump down.
“Are you crazy? Why would I jump?”
“This is the only way out. You have to jump down”
“I’d rather go back”
“Lesker, trust me. Jump when I ask you to do so. I will protect you”
She was convincing so I just sighed and followed her instruction. I jumped when she asked me to, closing my eyes. When I opened them, we were safely on the ground, on the other side of the palace walls.
“We’re alive”
“You know, your doubt in me is hurtful”
“It is my life after all, I have to be careful”
“You just jumped down a few dozen feet though”
“I happen to trust you a little bit. Now, lead the way princess”
“Sure”
I followed her into the bustling streets of Tyin, the capital city of Ataliya. It was very busy, different carriages and contraptions going up and down in the streets. The houses were all beautiful, adding to the allure of the City.
“So, where do you want to go first? There’s a bakery down the street that produces the sweetest pastries in the whole kingdom. There’s a pet shop not too far from it. There’s also a blacksmith and alchemy shop that way. I heard there’s a circus in town”
“How many times have you snuck out princess Sephira?”
“A couple of times. All four of us used to sneak out all the time to meet in the city square”
“Four of you?”
“Yeah. Me, Jeir, Feri and Kohra. We loved to explore. Kohra was especially good at it”
“Wow, I never would’ve guessed”
“No one would. We never got caught. Only our mothers knew about this”
“Hmm, who’s this Feri you speak of?”
“She’s the daughter of a governor. She disappeared a few months ago”
“Oh. She was a very close friend of yours I take it?”
“Yeah. Enough of the sad talk, where do you want to go?”
“Hmm, the bakery”
“Alright. Let’s go”
