Quest Maker of Soul Land - Chapter 339: The Voyage Must be Enjoyed (2)
Before setting for the voyage destined to conquer the Sea God Island instead of teleporting there just to enjoy the journey of it, Ja Sun had many kinks to straighten. The first and the foremost was to save as many ‘assets’ that they could from the Continent before leaving.
While working their way up, they had built quite the enterprise for themselves, most notable of which was the Giant’s Fortress. Under the protection of the Giant’s Fortress, Ah Yin’s, and Ja Sun’s skills, the giants had begun to thrive once again. Too bad that it could not be salvaged easily… for others. Sure, Giant’s Fortress’s value did not lie in the construction itself but in the Giant’s Forest which was hard to liquidate.
But it would be such a shame to let Xunji benefit from the fruits of their labor. After all, Giants gave one of the highest quality of spirit rings. As such, Ja Sun warped himself into the center of the forest, drew a spatial array around the forest, and viola, left a giant hole in the property of the Clear Sky Clan. Ja Sun, after defeating Di Tian, obsessed over the mastery of spatial concepts and laws, forming arrays of various kinds. His own martial soul had a great affinity with spatial attributes so even if he wasn’t a grandmaster yet, he had long been a master in many of the elements attributed to him way past the skills granted to him by his spirit rings.
But he wasn’t stopping here just yet. Fully intending to use this moment of unawareness by Xunji about his abilities aside from beating a god and stripping one from what made them strong, Ja Sun left a hole in Sunset Forest by ‘liberating’ the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well from the Spirit Empire’s hold and taking away all the sweet, juicy herbs. He also went ahead and ‘took’ the Slaughter City, another one of the blessed lands of the continent aside from the pond from where Yin Yang Petals originated from. Sure, slaughter city was once Asura’s turf. But that was before Ja Sun cleansed it with the backfire of melting blood, stole the slaughter egg, and fucked the imprint of Asura left behind metaphorically.
Last but not the least, Ja Sun located the Blue Silver Forest with Ah Yin’s assistance and took that away, too.
Once these areas of interest were taken, Ja Sun was ready to leave.
Sure, he could possibly ‘steal’ every forest in the same manner. But what was the point? Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well was Ah Yin’s new home. The Blue Silver Forest was her birthplace and all the blue silver variants there would actually benefit from the Yin Yang Well, as such, both the locations were now fused together.
The Giant’s Forest was the product of Ja Sun, Bibi Dong, and Ah Yin’s hard work. They did not want to see it get ‘used’ by someone else.
And the Slaughter City held many spatial ingenuities that Ja Sun could learn from. Not to mention the fact that it had a sick atmosphere that could make an awesome location to stay for Ja Sun and others now that it was no longer wrought by the slaughter intent of the slaughter egg.
It could be argued that Ja Sun could have taken the Extreme North. But, there were two things that stopped him.
First, Snow and Bing Bing weren’t even Ja Sun’s close friends. He didn’t need to do all that for some ambiguous acquaintance.
Second, Snow and Bing Bing had their tribes moved into the King’s Lair with them, forming a tiny negative temperature zone while adapting for themselves. These beasts weren’t fond of other species and it didn’t matter to them if other icy beasts came along. In fact, aside from the implicit rule of the 100000-year-old beasts keeping to themselves and safeguarding a certain number of their tribesbeast, it was the wild west in King’s Lair. A haven of hunting. Of course, all except the Emerald Swans who basically enjoyed royal treatment wherever they went.
After doing what Yuehua wanted, Ja Sun and others left for their vacation island since they had no worries at the moment. Quite literally, they would need to face a god even stronger than Xunji to actually feel threatened on this trip…

“Father—” Before Tang Xiao could continue after having the most terrible sleep since the entire clan’s ground shook for hours to come during the night, he found his father, Tang Peng, holding a letter with a tiny golden hammer in his other hand. With Tang Xiao’s entry being less than discreet, the bushy-bearded muscular spirit master spoke while reading the letter, “Yuehua has had many adventures, some of it is detailed in this letter. You and Hao can read with your fiancees later on. This is the ancestral hammer of the clan, something Yuehua got from your grandfather… sigh, and it looks like, the new god of the continent isn’t even the most prominent reason why she wouldn’t be able to attend the two of your marriages.”
Tang Xiao felt stumped as he looked at his father not because of what he said, but because of his expression.
“Father! Did you see that giant hole— The hell are you smiling for?” Tang Hao barged in but Tang Peng only laughed loudly, “Why won’t I smile? Why won’t I laugh? I just got a son-in-law worth more than ten of you sons of bitches combined!”
“Come on…” Tang Hao, the successor of the clan frowned as Tang Xiao took the letter from Tang Peng to understand what was going on, “No need to insult your late wives, father…”
“Bastard! The insult was aimed at your sappy ass!” Peng scowled, “Hurry your asses and breakthrough to Titled Douluos already! It’s the era of gods and conquests… the best we can do is maintain the clan’s name…” With that, Tang Peng looked at the golden hammer and sighed, “Not to mention the fact, the Giant’s Forest is with Bibi Dong… as ‘contracted’ after the first tournament…”
“Oh, really?” Tang Hao hummed and then diverted his attention to the letter, “Hey, what does it say?”
With an even weirder expression, Tang Xiao shook his head, “Too much.”

“Welcome~!” Ja Sun chimed with his arms spread and a pristine white captain hat over his silver mane as he wore clothes appropriate to the situation— A tanktop and trousers with a gun buckled to his waist, a toy gun, that is.
Everyone, more gals than guys, stood near the port with a giant structure floating in front of them. It was a giant silver yacht, the kind none of them had ever seen. It was beautiful, powerful, and downright enticing with its graceful slopes and wooden furnishing.
“This darling right here is called Honey!” Ja Sun proclaimed before snapping his fingers and bringing out a comatose Qian Daoliu with black shades over his eyes as his body stood with literal strings attached to him. As the man waved his hand, Ja Sun covered his lips and mocked a tone, “But why is it called Honey, my most awesome, strongest, and devilishly dispositioned disciple?”
The act itself earned Ja Sun rolled eyes from everyone while Xie Yue was clapping loudly, happy to meet the ‘Grandpa’ once again alongside Xiao Wu who nodded and was engrossed entirely.
“Hmm, because it will Trap ya, get it?” Ja Sun laughed. None other except Xie Yue did who had no clue what was going on.
“Hohohoho, smart and witty as always,” ‘Qian Daoliu’ laughed.
“Are you done?” Ah Yin interjected with a huff before walking up, cutting off the rather hard strings made from Ja Sun’s million-year-old external bone and holding her master up through his shoulders, “That was seriously disrespectful.”
“Pssh, relax, he’ll never know,” Ja Sun shrugged and then looked at everyone with a bright grin, “Anyways, this yacht is inscribed with a similar concealment array so we’ll have a rather calm and enjoyable journey. The rooms are private, everyone gets their personal bathrooms, the booze is stocked, and the snacks are stacked—” before Hu Lana could interject, Ja Sun nodded, “And yes, I made a playroom for Xie Yue.” And again, before Xiao Wu could whine, Ja Sun added, “Which includes a nightmare mode of obstacles just for Sweet Wu.”
“Wow… all this in just a day?” Bibi Dong was kind of impressed. Ja Sun rarely took so many considerations willingly and that honestly…
“Of course,” Ja Sun smirked, “The trip will be long, and since I wanted to travel the sea instead of warping everyone of us there, I should be the one to make everyone feel comfortable.”
“I don’t buy it… the last time you gifted us the golden wardrobe rings… it had its ‘conditions.'” Hu Lana narrowed her eyes.
“Well,” Ja Sun chuckled which made everyone curious and cautious at the same time, “You’ll find out eventually, right?”
