Quest Maker of Soul Land - Chapter 371: Plans Ahead
“What are you thinking?” Ah Yin looks rightly weirded out as Ja Sun continues to stare at her once they returned to their shared cabin. It’s not just the two of them, of course. Bibi Dong can be seen humming a chipper tone in a soft voice as she continues to fix them their drink while letting a few drops of ‘medicinal’ poison drop into their glasses.
Of course, their beverage isn’t alcohol but the refined juices of immaculate fruits yet the poison Bibi Dong added can be considered… ‘persuasive’ in some terms. She simply has too many compounds under her control, of them, many are beneficial to the body to the point that even Jun’er and Hu Lana are forced to drink some of the more bitter poisons to remain healthier than an average pregnant woman.
“If I’m honest… I am thinking about the taste…” Ja Sun mumbles and sits beside Ah Yin on the couch while Bibi Dong brings the tray with a smile, “Well, it’s going to taste a bit spicy if you’d believe me. But after a few seconds of ingestion, your body will also have a subtle tangy aftertaste that melts with the flavor completely~!”
“He means the taste of my breast milk,” Ah Yin sighs and shakes her head.
“Come on, really?” Bibi Dong looks at Ja Sun who nods innocently, “What else? Didn’t you try it?”
“Why would I try it?” Bibi Dong sits beside Ja Sun and questions calmly. They take their glasses, too.
“Aren’t you wives?” Ja Sun muses, “If you can eat her out… you can surely give them a taste or is it weird?”
“It’s weird,” Bibi Dong nods and Ah Yin agrees, “Definitely. We don’t sleep with each other just because we sleep with you.”
“I don’t know if I should feel disappointed or proud…” Ja Sun huffs. Of course, he would mind feeling disrespected if they willingly ignore him but what’s the fun in not even helping each other in times of need? If he was a chick, he would—
‘Ok, no. Never going to imagine the stuff I’d do as a woman. That’s a dangerous territory to explore when someone is at the cusp of achieving everything…’
Shaking his head, Ja Sun quietly sips while wondering what he should do, and with a look of expectation, Ah Yin questions after a moment, “What’s wrong?”
“I… may have lost a bit of my edge,” Ja Sun replies honestly and gulps down the content of his drink, “I feel just the same way the time we did it for the first time,” he looks at Ah Yin sheepishly.
“Back then you feared that your cum would come out black and white…” Ah Yin scoffs a giggle.
“Really?” Bibi Dong almost chokes on her drink.
“It’s an honest mistake, alright?” Ja Sun rolls his eyes, “I’d just created my second core, after all, and it was Yin-Yang and stuff. Even my arm’s color is different from my usual form so it was an interesting possibility…”
“Speaking of your normal form… are you going to stay in your spirit transformation forever?” Bibi Dong questions while leaning into him, “By the way, baby, I did add quite a few potent stuff in your drink so don’t resist their effects. It doesn’t take a genius to understand you’d feel a bit awkward after not meeting us for… years, as you said.”
Ja Sun raises an eyebrow then shrugs while leaning back and hugging both of them at once.
“I would drop my spirit transformation if I had a cool-ass mane regularly.”
“It’s not that great,” Ah Yin smiles while hugging him and enjoying the warmth. While they cannot say they were starved for years, it has been months. So even this quiet and gentle embrace is more than welcome.
“Heh, I keep the mane for myself, sweety,” Ja Sun smirks, “But, there you go.”
His body deflates. From a monstrous and tall physique to a human and still tall physique.
It’s just that the Spirit Transformation almost makes him 3 meters tall but the shape of his physique doesn’t change much.
His fur recedes. The crystal in the center of his chest enters his body. His flowing, wild silver mane returns to a slightly longer dark hair. After all, Ja Sun hasn’t cut his hair naturally in years. His third eye returns to being an emerald tattoo in the center of his forehead. And his left hand once again looks silver-like synthetic material that still feels the same as human skin to touch. His prized tail, too, disappears into motes of spirit essence.
“We’ve been waiting for your return,” Ah Yin whispers, “After all… I still haven’t checked the gender of our child.”
“It doesn’t matter,” Ja Sun closes his eyes and rests his head back, feeling a deep sense of contentment blooming inside of him. Of course, he plans to ravish both of them, pregnant or not. If Xie Xan’s accounts are to be believed… Ja Sun feels he’d enjoy the current Ah Yin even more. But he cannot deny the current sense of peace brewing within him. He doesn’t want to.
Well, yeah, he does ignore his bodily reactions and erection from Bibi’s drink.
“Boy or girl, they’d be awesome. After all, I’m going to try my best and not leave for such cultivation sessions unannounced…” Ja Sun smiles and continues while keeping his eyes closed.
“I’m glad,” Ah Yin leans deeper against his chest alongside Bibi Dong. Both of them eye the rather honest reaction within his trousers before looking at each other.
Wanting to give him a good show, they lean forward and make out with hot mewls escaping their lips. Each of them also feels a lot hornier than usual. Their hands cup each other’s breasts and Bibi Dong has to admit that Ah Yin’s breasts have not only gotten larger but heavier, too. Ah Yin has also gotten a lot more sensitive as she moans softly and whispers, “I missed this~ Why don’t you drop your trousers…”
She looks at Ja Sun only to find him unresponsive.
Blinking in surprise, Ah Yin and Bibi Dong look at each other.
“Well… his body should be vigorous. The proof is in the erection,” Bibi Dong smiles wryly, “But I guess… even I failed to account for the mental exhaustion he must be staving off until returning to his safe space.”
Ah Yin sighs softly and releases her Blue Silver Goddess to coil around Ja Sun gently and brings him over to their bed before tucking him in. But after a moment’s thought, she too lies beside him and Bibi Dong still eyes Ja Sun’s erection quietly.
“Say… I have this crazy idea—”
“I’m sure it won’t be fun for me,” Ah Yin scoffs and points out, “Are you going to act like a hussy or are you going to sleep?”
Bibi Dong snorts and lies on the other side before muttering, “You know, at times like these, a bit of unity would be appreciated.”
“Unity against a sleeping Ja Sun feels less than necessary. After all, I wouldn’t want to get him down on me while I’m sleeping… but… maybe we can talk about it once he’s awake…”
“Hypocrite!” Bibi Dong notes.
“You’re the teacher, remember?” Ah Yin responds calmly with her soon-to-be maternal wisdom.
—
Ja Sun’s eyes open slowly and he lets out a low groan before sitting up. Still a bit sleepy since it’s been a long time since his mind truly shut off and just rested, he couldn’t help but yawn loudly. His eyes water up a bit, making him rub those puppies slightly.
‘Well… so much for ravishing. I guess I needed more sleep than Ah Yin or Bibi.’
He isn’t disheartened, of course. And naturally, both of them aren’t in bed with him.
Now truly feeling calm, Ja Sun thinks for a moment and crosses his legs and taking stock of a few things.
‘Instead of focusing on the more stagnant laws, it’s better to divert my attention to the Law of War and Time. Bibi Dong says she is gaining insight into the Law of Negativity. That’s interesting, too. If there is a law of negativity, maybe there is a law of positivity, too. Not to mention the Law of yin and yang. And then there is Ice, Snow, and Poison. Destiny is too hard. It’s an evil law so aside from the little bit of affinity in my martial soul, there is no other source.
Ja Yin has a better chance to learn it but… with the Evil Sage’s Third Eye, I can focus on the attributes of my martial soul alone. Finally, there is also the law of Life that Ah Yin is on. And enchantment.’
Thinking for a moment, he summons his mission once more.
[Objective: Reach the realm of Grandmaster in any law of existence and induce godly tribulations.
Mission Rank: Based on objective achieved.
Rewards: Based on objective achieved.
Time Limit: —]
This is the first mission without any time limit which makes Ja Sun a bit impatient for the rewards but his enemies wouldn’t let go of any weakness. He just doesn’t need to reach a Grandmaster only but also induce godly tribulations and succeed in them!
And also to become a god mighty enough to take on other experienced gods if need be!
“It won’t do. I can think of any number of laws and they will be interesting. If I had to take the route settled by the Lady of the Lake then… no… either way, I am at the point where any improvement will lead to my demise… might as well do all of it at once and push through it all!”
His eyes suddenly glint. It can be said that he was feeling quite drained and thus, his decision before was also based on a path that is the most efficient for his tired self.
But a truly good night’s sleep does wonder when one hasn’t taken such a rest for ages!
‘Fuck Lady of the Lake. I’m at Sea. I can easily take that whale and reach the rank of Grandmaster in the Law of Water. I should take the elemental route. I’ll have seven tries… seven more martial souls. Water is definite. Or maybe a beast with ultimate elements? They’d have a better understanding of the said elements, after all…’
Ja Sun recalls Bing Bing, Snow, and others.
“If I can convince them then fine and good… huff, this also means I have to limit myself more than usual… talk about breaking the rules and suffering the consequences. It isn’t even any tribulation… no, pfft!”
Ja Sun suddenly starts to chuckle out loud.
“I see! Tribulation isn’t only supposed to change the color of the sky and attack anyone who induces it! Tribulation! It’s a problem. It can come in any form. I aim to break the very sequence of cultivation and in return, I will face suppression of the ultimate price! If this isn’t tribulation… what is?”
—
“You failed,” Phantom of the God of Toxins appears in front of Qian Xunji once more.
Releasing a wry sigh, Qian Xunji opens his eyes and looks at the man, “And I am aware of your true intentions by this point.”
“What do you mean?” God of Toxin frowns as Qian Xunji stands up and disappears from his simple room, reappearing on the roof of the castle before releasing his divine intent that instantly changes the color of the sky.
As he does so, many citizens— civilians and Spirit Masters of every rank— lower their heads and kowtow. While many don’t truly revere him Xunji, they are in a small majority when compared to the rest!
A strong sense of insight fills Qian Xunji as he closes his eyes while Toxin God appears once more with a gloomy expression.
“All the old gods are almost forgotten with Poseidon being one of the only divine entities who have some form of following in the Sea God Island. I have only started to understand how sweet one’s faith is. From Grandmaster of the Law of Blood, I am taking the steady path toward reaching the next step. It will take me a few years but then again… a Great Grandmaster can not only emulate other laws using one’s knowledge but also connect their abilities with nature itself.”
Opening his eyes, Qian Xunji looks at Toxin God, “Gods have descendants, don’t they? Are they born a God, too?”
Chuckling and understanding Qian Xunji is already too close to their true thoughts, he smiles in defeat, “Anything born in a divine plane, be it a blade of grass, is also divine.”
“But just being divine doesn’t make you a god,” Qian Xunji smiles.
“Comprehension of Law and adequate tribulation does,” God of Toxin nods.
“Yet tribulation becomes easier once you have a greater understanding of a particular law. This understanding allows you to wrestle away control from heaven in an easier fashion,” Qian Xunji continues.
“Indeed, and to have a better insight into law, nothing is a better tonic than mortal faith or… Saint’s enlightenment,” God of Toxin sighs.
“And not only the descendants but many Gods who have lost their followers would want to have their name return to the mortal realm,” Qian Xunji concludes, “Prophecy or not. And regardless of the enmity of a few gods with Ja Sun… your true objective is to collect more faith energy.”
“You are indeed smart,” God of Toxin smiles, “And we will pay you adequately.”
Qian Xunji smiles gently, “In that case, I refuse.”
“Huh—”
The divine intent of the God of Toxin is obliterated at once while Qian Xunji takes a deep breath, “To even assume they can pay anything for the essential understanding of any Law is utter hubris. If there is a Blood God from this continent… other Gods shall follow the same suit, too. All I have to do is try and figure out who to manifest faith energy, store it, and then share it to intended talents.”
His gaze turns eerie, “And something tells me… arrays can be useful for this. Even as an enemy, Ja Sun has educated me more times than once. For that, I will have to pay my gratitude soon enough. It is a bit unfortunate that the Dark Devilgod Tiger no longer exists… I wished to exact my vengeance personally.”
His sigh grows forlorn.
