Quick Transmigration: Sorry, I Never Loved You - Chapter 195
Tang Yizhou entered, and his eyes were immediately set on the source of Tang Yixiu’s entertainment. It should be mentioned that Tang Yixiu was provided with the highest quality of setup when it came to his living equipment. There were two external monitors connected to his main one, where his game was displayed. The other two monitors, the first one opened Xu Jiaqi’s stream, and the other displayed his work flow.
“Ah? Butters, why did you call me in such a weird way? Hurry, come and beat this fellow up! I’m about to be burnt to a crisp by this disgusting frog!” Feng Qin’s voice resounded out loud through Tang Yixiu’s speakers and as a result, was heard by Tang Yizhou. He thought that Tang Yixiu was trying to address him by using the term ‘brother’, not knowing that there was another person in the room right now.
Tang Yizhou was a bit baffled, and Feng Qin’s loud voice also caused his headache symptoms to spike a bit, making him take in a sharp breath. However, he shrugged it off and kept his focus on the other monitor that strangely drew his eyes in. It was the one displaying Xu Jiaqi’s stream.
She had her face cam covering a large part on the bottom half, whereas her game occupied most of the entire screen. Without needing it to be magnified any further, Tang Yizhou frowned as he examined her. Her appearance looked so awfully familiar, especially with the way she was donned in those intricate red clothes that mirrored her stream ID, a Queen..
“Wait! I need to mute myself for a bit. I’ll.. come back in a bit, alright? You two, I hope you guys survive! Godspeed!” Tang Yixiu hurriedly got off his seat and stood up.
As he did not turn off the game yet, only relieving his character’s control, the communication sounds were still transmitted perfectly. His teammates’ words would be relayed on to his brother.
“Ao, did Butters’ brother come to scold him? It’s a shame!” Xu Jiaqi laughed. “Brother Angry, are you confident that we can win without Butters’ assistance?”
“Eiii! That’s a given! Butters is.. He’s the weakest out of us three, alright? Goddess, you just need to follow my lead! Just look at this! Haa!” Feng Qin shouted. With his shout, he initiated his ultimate skill, bringing down the signature circle of holy light from Aphtalia’s spectre.
The boss’ health points chipped away, but it was nowhere near inflicting serious damages.
“How’s that!!” Feng Qin was too engrossed in the game, whereas Xu Jiaqi was conscious of Butters’ disappearance and decided to voice it out.
“Butters, are you still there? If you don’t join back in, you might be marked as AFK and penalized by the system, right?” Xu Jiaqi did get to enjoy the game even though this was her first time playing, so she flew around the boss like an annoying fly as Feng Qin continued to use his support character to cause light harm to the boss.
“Don’t mind him, Goddess! He deserves it! He brought it upon himself, right?” Feng Qin continued to hurl strange words and shouts as he continued to deal damage.
Tang Yizhou felt like a spring breeze hit him when Xu Jiaqi talked and voiced concern over his brother’s disappearance, and when Feng Qin talked.. No need to mention it, just the grim expression on his face said it all. It was like the Goddess of Spring was mercilessly killed and left with no chance to recover.
“Tang Yixiu, who are they?” Tang Yizhou questioned. Although it was not within his intentions to sound like he was interrogating his sibling, it did come off that way.
“..They are my online friends. They’re not bad people, and I am just playing a game with them. What’s the matter, older brother?” Tang Yixiu responded, swallowing a mouthful of saliva. His nerves were being tested right now.
He didn’t know why, but Tang Yizhou’s expression was looking particularly dangerous. It was like hatred emanated from his entire body. A hostile evil spirit looming behind him at all times, staring down at him.
Was these emotions directed at him? Thinking that it might really be so, he feared for his life and questioned why his brother would have such intense thoughts.
“..I see. Then, they wouldn’t mind if I took your position for a little bit, right? I’m slightly curious.” Tang Yizhou stepped inside the room and stood beside Tang Yixiu, waiting for him to give up the seat and let him play too.
“B-brother! They’re really not suspicious people, alright? Please don’t do anything bad to them, I would hate it!” Tang Yixiu knew that if these people offended him in any sort of way, then they wouldn’t have a good ending attached to their name. He prayed internally for their fates.
He assumed that the Queen would know what to do, but Brother Angry was.. a bit problematic. For Tang Yizhou’s tastes… It wouldn’t fare well.
“I know. I just want to play. Or are you doubting my skills, when I am the creator of this game?” Tang Yizhou chided. “I won’t do anything.. just yet.”
Tang Yixiu was rendered helpless, and he slapped his palm on top of his forehead, trying to convince himself that all of this was nothing but a fever dream that he fully wished to end.
“Hello there.” Tang Yizhou spoke into Tang Yixiu’s microphone. His low voice, which was husky and carried a magnetic effect entered the other two teammates’ ears through the call.
“Butters? That can’t be you, right?” Feng Qin was confused at the sudden drastic change.
Tang Yizhou’s eyes diverted to the second monitor, trying to look at how Xu Jiaqi reacted to his arrival.
“Butters, is that your brother? Ah, wait, you might not be here at all by now. If it’s your older brother, then hello.” Xu Jiaqi calmly responded. She was better at drawing a conclusion, and immediately assumed that the newcomer must be Butters’ sibling that cut him out of the game.
“Yes, I am his sibling.. It’s nice to meet you.” Tang Yizhou replied. Without realizing, his tone was becoming gentler when he talked to this woman. His eyes watched her patiently as she focused on her game, not minding his sudden entrance at all.
“Old Butters, you are our damage dealer, so we should hurry up and clear this boss before it enters overtime!” Feng Qin interrupted the flow of the conversation and sent ping notifications for Tang Yizhou, signalling that he should start making moves.
He even referred to Tang Yizhou as ‘Old Butters’. Tang Yixiu, who was standing by the side and praying with all his might that nothing would go wrong when his brother was here, felt like his legs turned into jelly at Feng Qin’s rudeness.
President Tang dealt with professional people all day long, and his standards when meeting people were arguably very high. Feng Qin’s way of acting, how would the cold and rigid president react to it?
Tang Yizhou was reasonably irked, but he did not comment on the matter. With his skillful fingers, he moved up close to the boss and landed one heavy hit. Compared to Tang Yixiu, he was much better at controlling the character and maximizing their efficiency. Tang Yixiu was originally already a great player, but the older Tang brother made the younger seem lackluster when the gameplays were compared.
Within less than a minute, the boss’ health bar was brought to nothing more than just a sliver of hope for the pathetic frog. Tang Yizhou delivered the last blow cleanly, slicing off the frog’s head with his claymore, drawing a rich fountain of blood from the incision he made.
He knew his game the best, and the graphics and realism was extremely polished. When they said physics would be there, they meant it. The spurting blood hit all three of them and covered them in disgusting goo. Luckily, one of Aphtalia’s skills was [Cleanse], and Feng Qin diligently did his duty of cleaning as he screamed in a high-pitched voice crying that his beloved wife was being stained by this horrendous liquid.
After they got off and returned to the real realm, Feng Qin couldn’t hold back his favor towards Tang Yizhou.
“Woah! Old Butters, you are actually very good! Genius! I thought that you were definitely going to make us lose when you suddenly zoned out, but turns out you were just waiting for the boss’ morph delay?! Fuck! I admire you!”
Tang Yizhou’s timing was indeed something to be respected.
However, our good President Tang’s desire was not to receive the praise of a Feng Qin, but rather his other teammate.
“Mhm, you did great. Butters, are you still there? Your brother is better than you, you better catch up to him!” Xu Jiaqi chuckled.
“It’s a pleasure to play with you two. I’ll return the control back to my little brother.” Tang Yizhou was satisfied and bade his farewells. “If fate wills for it, then let us play together one more time.”
