Sigh, I guess I’ll have to train in Taijutsu to gain strength if my bloodline is limiting my ability to create and control chakra.

[Chakra in its base form is separated into the ratio 10% fire nature, 10% water nature, 10% lighting nature, 10% wind nature, 10% earth nature, 25% yang nature and 25% yin nature. The nature with the highest healing properties is yang nature. If host could learn how to isolate the yang nature, he would be able to rapidly accelerate healing]

[Also the majority of the other natures are good at destroying, primarily lightning, fire and wind. Wind is incredibly sharp and can increase the sharpness of weaponry, and fire can burn (rather obvious), whereas lighting is electrically charged weapons and attacks allowing for piercing attacks and fast movement]

~”Is there some sort of system behind finding out affinities for certain natures?”~

[The inhabitants of the Narutoverse most likely have a method, and I theorise that I will be able to assimilate and improve whatever the method is]

*After walking to the academy for day two*

“Excuse me Teacher Iruka?” I start speaking to the teacher before class starts

“What’s wrong Jake?” he asks with a look of concern on his face

“How would I find out the nature affinities of my chakra?” I ask him

“Well, you would buy some Chakra Induction Paper and send your chakra into it, and depending on what happens to the paper, it would tell you your affinity. The shopkeeper you buy it from will give you a quick explanation of what can happen and what it means” he says to me in a friendly tone, probably quite proud that I am asking him a relevant question (because all the other students ask childish and stupid questions).

“Alright. Thanks for the information Teacher Iruka” I say while bowing my head and leaving to go read some of the books I borrowed from the library

*After finishing classes for the day*

I get up off my seat ready to find a store that sells Chakra Induction paper (Author Note: Going to shorten Chakra Induction Paper into Chakra paper), but before I could leave the academy, I get interrupted by a group of students.

“Hey look it’s the weird eye child”, “Lets come up with a nickname for him”, “The Demonic Orphan with no friends or LOSER for short”, (Author note: They are children and do not care about whether or not their insults make sense) “Let’s all beat up the LOSER for being a nerd and asking the teacher questions”, “That sounds like a great idea”

I have noticed that all of the children love to have long conversations explaining their actions before actually fighting. It seems pointless in my opinion, but I’m not really a normal child. Oh well, guess I should get this over and done with.

*After a minute of beating up Jake*

“This is so boring, and he doesn’t even fight back,” “Let’s just leave and get some food.”

After which the group of kids walk away, once they are out of view, I get up and head to the Hokage’s office to borrow some money off him

*After getting money from the Hokage and asking him to recommend a shop. I went there*

Once I entered the store, I asked the shop keeper if I could buy some chakra paper and how to determine what the results mean

“The nature and their results are: Fire where the paper will ignite and turn to ash, Wind where the paper will split in two, Lightning where the paper will wrinkle, Earth where the paper will turn to dirt and crumble away, Water where the paper will become wet/damp.”

I ended up buying two sheets.

I went and looked for a quiet place to practice and found a well-secluded forest that is in one of the corners of the village.

I took out the Chakra paper, and it took until that moment to realise, I still hadn’t made any chakra yet.

Giving up on the plan of finding out my nature affinities, I started to think if there were any ways I could speed up my creation of chakra, then it hit me.

I would use my Devouring bloodline to absorb energy from the environment and merely get chakra that way. I started looking around for a source of energy until I found a waterfall. (Waterfalls to my knowledge obtain Gravitational Potential energy by being above sea level, and when the water falls down, it will convert the Gravitational Potential energy into Kinetic energy aka movement energy and Sound energy).

I immediately ran towards the waterfall, and as soon as I entered, I got immediately thrown into the ground and then pulled into the nearby lake just in front of the waterfall.

[Host seems to forget that waterfalls are dangerous for young children]

Sigh Even B.R.O. is bullying me at this point

[Since the Devouring bloodline host currently has is still weak and adapting to your system so you should create a small fire and absorb the heat, sound and light energy emitted from it]

[For host to start a fire he should] *sudden interruption* ~”No need. I know how to start fires already”~

*After creating a small safe fire approximately half a meter in diameter*

“Devour: Heat, Light, and Sound; 2 meters.”
