Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/destroyer - Chapter 2218: Progress
The tall woman, Krejin’s number one lackey.
The woman that literally grew up with her and was decided as his assistant since the moment she was born. Her name is Siola.
Siola has seen many things in her life. She has seen her young master pick fights with people older than him. She has seen him crush the competitors in the family. She has seen him single handedly subdue the businesses of their competitors.
While seeing all of that, she met many people.
By virtue of the network and the circle the Telchians operate in, the people she met are all of distinguished nature. She saw warriors that could man handle the elders in the academy realm like fathers beating the shit out of their sons.
She has seen mages that could destroy a planet on a whim.
She has seen genocides and participated in a few. With all the life experience she accumulated, she believed that she is assisting her young master to stand at the pinnacle of the world and nothing else can surprise her.
Now… she has seen it.
The one thing that surprised her more than anything. The first thing she noticed as soon as she came out of the meditation is not the report prepared by her subordinate, rather it is the location of Sam.
She believed that there wouldn’t be a location indicating his existence, because in her mind he is already dead.
But, not only was he alive and well, but he is in the exact same place. The same place that she left him. Not even an inch away.
That made her jump to her feet and check the report. Even while taking the report she hoped in the corner of her heart that Sam might have surrendered and was being held captive by her subordinates after he put up some fight.
But the contents of it made her shiver in fright.
“We used up so many of the Telchine forces, but he still didn’t even move?
And what about these legendary beasts? Where the fuck did they come from?” Siola yelled at her subordinate as she ran out. She moved towards the restaurant while she also spoke through her communication token.
“Push the approval for the usage of the special squads. Whatever squads that have the Initial Stage of Divine Plane initiation cultivators shall move right away. As long as they are available they need to move.”
Unlike the middle-aged man, Siola does have some special authority, being the right hand of Krejin and all.
As soon as she spoke, the middle-aged man’s request was approved. He knew that Siola is out of the meditation. Even though he felt relieved that the special squads are coming, he is worried about what Krejin will do it.
After all, hundreds of people died under his watch.
Someone should be held answerable to it.
He mentally prepared himself as he contacted the special squads to guide them to the restaurant. Most of the special squads are actually on different planets and messages were sent. But two squads were already on this planet only.
So, he immediately went to them and gathered their eligible candidates.
Eight from the Fire fist Squad and Seven from the Ice spear squad. As their names imply, both squads are filled with Warrior Mages. Fire fist squad is full of cultivators who are mostly skillful at fist technique, but also have high affinity with fire element.
They are good to create destruction on larger scales.
The Ice spear squad on the other hand is full of spear users that have ice elemental affinity. The thirteen people gathered and arrived at the restaurant in no time. By the time they arrived, Siola was already there.
She watched as the beasts leisurely rested.
Raiju is crouching down at one of the corners of a broken building, Sky and Yanwu occupied the roofs of different buildings. Ape is digging through the spatial rings along with the shadow mice and Forrest Bear.
They are the most mischievous of the bunch and they having the time of their lives as they distributed the loot.
Sam is still at the table. There are a bunch of engravings on the table in front of him.
*BOOM*
The inscription failed and the next moment the table exploded.
Ape who was busy arguing with the other beasts about the loot, looked and hurriedly came forward. He took the broken table away and replaced it with another table. Sam just kept on working as if he didn’t even notice it.
The special squad members also saw this scene and felt a sense of unease.
“Who the hell is this guy? We are supposed to take him down?” One of the fire fist members said and looked around. The whole area is covered in dead bodies. There is almost no place left in the vicinities of the restaurant without a dead body and blood that came along with it.
It looked like a slaughter house. The only difference is here the butchers and beasts and the meat is replaced by cultivators. The special squad couldn’t help but feel a bit troubled.
“We can only attack all at once. The beasts are very powerful. We don’t know much about them apart from the knowledge we gained from the books. But from the looks of it, their strength is way too high, on part with the geniuses of Foster Unit.
We need to overpower them.
My suggestion would be to focus on one, while blocking the rest…”
One of the fire fist members explained the plane. Soon, the ice spear members surrounded the whole area, standing far apart as they started a formation. Sam who was writing with ink, suddenly felt a chill. The ink froze in his hands.
He frowned and his fingers started glowing, warming the ink back up. He then looked at the ice spear members who activated the formation.
The beasts are all ready and they seemed to be in discussion.
“There are thirteen people here. It is impossible for you guys to divide evenly. Just deal with it, this is irritating.”
Sam’s voice stopped them all and the beasts looked at their enemies. Fire fist members and Ice spear members suddenly felt a bit wronged. The beasts are looking at them as if they are blaming them. Blaming them for not being an even number that they could divide.
*BOOM*
*BOOM*
The battle continued. Siola watched the whole battle from start to finish. It lasted exactly ten minutes. Three minutes breaking the formation, three minutes capturing the weak link and the remaining four minutes is torturous.
The beasts made these people feel sick in the stomach about their own physical conditions before they died.
Siola at that moment, understood one thing. Sending any more special squads blindly wouldn’t result in anything, instead it could dwindle their own forces. So, she decided to sit back and draft a plan. Soon, the remaining special squads started coming one after the other.
Three hours of planning and careful execution, all aimed at the beasts and then Sam. All of it…
The execution began after the three hours, Siola doesn’t remember what happened after that. She knew that the whole place is covered with formations as they surrounded Sam and his beasts.
They were about to move and deal with the birds first.
Sky and Yanwu started circling the sky together, creating a golden flame tornado. That is all she remembered.
She doesn’t know what happened.
At that moment, Siola felt an itchy feeling on her forearm and tried move it. Only then did she realize that she is unable to move as if something heavy resting on her body.
She opened her eyes wide and looked around. With great difficulty she managed to sit up. All she saw is the deadbodies of various uniforms. All of them dead with various weapons poking out of their bodies, some even had their own bones showing out of their bodies.
It was as if they all died with the sole intention of displaying the cruelty of their internal violent personalities.
She looked around and her eyes finally landed on Sam, who is still at the table. His eyes are laser focused. He is still busy.
He is now surrounded by all of his beasts.
They are also looking at him intently.
Because at the moment Sam’s eyes might be focused, but his body is trembling a bit. There is a weird brightness to his eyes as even his hand trembled slightly.
Weird runic patterns that didn’t look like runic patterns appeared on the table in front of him as he carefully drew one after the other.
He finally understood it. He understood the significance behind the runic patterns that were used in creating that tracking spell.
“Siola calling. Requesting emergency backup. Break the protocol. Breach it.”
Siola suddenly yelled on top of her lungs. Sam who is about to write the final set of engravings, suddenly stopped.
