I was speechless seeing how the lizardlings worked harmoniously together under the command of the [Hell Fire Lizard].

In no time at all I watched as the last remaining [Hell Roach]es burned to death after bathing in fire for too long.

Then the [Hell Fire Lizardling]s feasted on the the carcasses that still contained meat in them. Even burned meat were no exception, I even had the feeling that some lizardlings prefered burned meat than raw.

As the [Hell Fire Lizard] was keeping watch and the lizardlings devouring their spoils of hunt, I racked my imp brain for means to devour the [Hell Fire Lizard].

I had no doubt that devouring the evolved version of the lizardlings could give me significant improvements and more chances to get [Fire Ball].

[It seems that frontal assault will not work anymore with a group of lizardlings under the command of a lizard.

Not to mention the support of coordinated [Fire Ball]s making the difficulty drastically increased.

I can handle some [Fire Ball]s but continuously? I have [Greater Fire Body] but it makes me only more resistant to fire attacks not completely nullifies them.

Besides the leader can also use [Fire Claw]. Even if I negate the fire element attack, there is still the physical momentum and sharpness of the lizard’s claw].

After learning how the group worked, I decided to stay low for now and observed further while thinking ways to kill the lizard.

I could feel the heat here was hotter than the lava near my original cave.

I could perceive although faint the differences of temperature but the heat was negliglible and even my body was more comfortable here.

Finally after some time, I saw a small opening covered with lava and rocks that my n.a.k.e.d eyes could miss if I didn’t see the details clearly.

The lizardlings and the [Hell Fire Lizard] burrowed into the hole resting after a successful hunt.

As for me, the hunt for lizardlings had just begun. For starters, I needed to scout the area near the lizardlings’ dwellings as well as finding a suitable rest area.

I also needed to know what kind of hell beasts living in this area or possibly I might encounter other demons under Count Andromalius.

A lone lizardling let out a sorrowful cried before I killed it and then devoured the beast until none was left.

I had already explored some areas near the lizardlings’ burrow.

Other than lavas and being careful with rocks falling from the sky out of nowhere, the luckiest thing for me was that there were many [Hell Fire Lizardling]s here.

Seeing so many lizardlings made my stomach grumbled and I was also feeling very hungry after experiencing many things and keeping up with the lizard.

So I targeted a lone lizardling to at least satiate my hunger but it was not enough and my stomach was urging me to find more.

Fortunately, [Hell Fire Lizard]s were scarce around here otherwise I needed to flee and back to my cave.

I immediately found 5 more lizardlings and finished them quickly.

I devoured them and gained 6% more affinities with fire but my stomach this time was urging me to devour more.

I knew that something beneficial would happen to me as I kept gaining affinities.

So there was a slight change of plan, I would focus eating more normal lizardlings first before thinking about the lizard.

I was getting ready to depart before …

2 strong looking [Hell Fire Lizardling]s appeared conveniently before me.

Most likely they came here attracted by the sound of fighting or screeching from the now dead lizardlings.

I used [Insight] and quickly glanced the level and skills. They were level 90 and level 88 respectively. Skills were [Autotomy] and [Fire Ball]

My blood was boiling in excitement facing 2 strong opponents although my mind prefered fighting easy sure kill ones.

The 2 lizardlings quickly circled around me preventing me from escaping and I quickly buffed myself using the staple 3 buffs that I knew or devoured exactly.

The lizardling in front of me lunged it’s body towards me as I dodged it by rolling my body but I was not given any time to rest as the other lizardling casted [Fire Ball].

I ran towards the lizardling that was still getting up after that lunged attack to make the trajectory of the [Fire Ball] hit the lizardling.

I rolled again but this time I casted [Enhanced Shadow Claw] and pierced the lizardling body.

It was not enough to kill it and I retreated. The 2 lizardlings were injured with the one that I had pierced bleeding profusely.

The slightly better looking lizardling pointed it’s head towards the sky and let out a cried.

“Damn it!” After killing so many lizardlings I would be really dumb if I didn’t know that cried.

That cried was a signal that called for help. The problem was that here lived many Lizardlings that it bound for [Hell Fire Lizard]s to appear.

Without any thoughts I rapidly went to the lizardling crying for help to interrupt it or better kill it.

Unfortunately before my claw managed to pierce it’s throat, the injured lizardlings threw itself to shield it’s companion.

A very noble act although being an imp I was agile enough to sidestepped and disregarded the lizardling.

I pierced it’s throat and interrupted the cried for help but whether a single or more [Hell Fire Lizard] knew, I hoped not.

I turned serious and finished off the lizardling in order to not give the other lizardling time to react or call for help less I wanted to face off a group of lizardlings.

I killed it quickly and devoured most of the two corpes’ meat quickly before running away.

Not long after I ran away…

A [Hell Fire Lizard] accompanied by lizardlings appeared at the scene of our fights.

The lizard saw the carcasses of it’s fellow kind and it roared in anger.

Then the lizard sniffed the scent finding for clues before It’s eyes squinted and roared towards the lizardlings as they scurried and scattered in all directions.

This time not only my stomach but my body was now urging me to find more lizardlings or any fire elements beasts.

Damn it. I quickly searched more lizardlings before my instinct took over my body.

Any lizardlings would do as long as there was no lizard.

Finally I let out a sigh of relief after seeing the notifications.
