[Fire Ball acquired]
“Ahhh … Burp ….Yes!!! Finally, I get that skill [Fire Ball] but how does an imp shoot out a fire ball again?”
After eating all of the lizardling’s remains, to reduce the feeling of bloatedness and excessive energy, I tried to use [Fire Ball].
I opened my mouth thinking that the fire ball would come out like the lizardlings until I could feel some heat on my hand but not damaging.
A circular wisp of fire was burning on my hand. Physically I could not feel this ball of fire but I could feel the power within it and I felt something was draining inside me.
[It seems that it is like my shadow claw, it drains my stamina though the only differences is that the consumption this time is instant.
Most likely continuous uses will make me fainted. But first, let me test the power first to avoid wasting my stamina].
I threw the ball of fire towards a nearby boulder, the same size as me to see the how destructive my [Fire Ball] was.
The boulder stood still but I could notice some cracks coming from the boulder and some of it’s surfaces were blasted off cleanly.
[The power is not bad at all, now let’s test the most important aspect of it, the distance]
I casted a [Fire Ball] again on my right hand but this time I threw it towards the sky as the [Fire Ball] flew in a curved manner.
After some time the [Fire Ball] disappeared. I could not measure the distance but it was long enough for me.
[Great, now I have a long-range attack and if I mert some angels or archers again, I should be handle them without being helpless when targeted like in the tower].
After I had finished all the remains of the lizardlings and rested for a while, I was thinking of going back to the temporary cave when I thought of something, how about living in the fire lizard’s burrow for a while?
I remembered the location of the fire lizard’s burrow when I was tracking it’s group and as I had thought there was nothing thetr aside from some eggs that I ate them as a snack.
[Fire Lizardling’s Egg]
The burrow was comfortable and much safer as I could covered the entrance imitating the fire lizard’s behavior and I probably could sleep peacefully and worriless.
The next day, nothing noteworthy happened aside from I tried to use my skills in many different ways and find some lizardlings to feast on.
I managed to find 3 more stray [Hell Fire Lizardling]s before I went back to the burrow.
It had been some time and the war had not started yet and normally there should be something or at least a demon that would tell me when the war would start, right?
Though when I was thinking about it, although the war was very beneficial for me and quickly promoted my strength, the risk was high as well.
Sometimes a moment of rest was needed at times like these but for some inexplicably reason, why did I sense a bad feeling the longer the time went on.
Then it happened on the following day, a demon resembling a goblin but bigger and looked more human-like came to me. I used [Insight] on it as I didn’t sense much power from it unlike the lizard.
[Insight]

[Lesser Blunt Weapon Mastery]

The [Hobgoblin] had green colored skin just like a normal goblin but darker. It’s outer appearance resembled a human but with a goblin face and I was reminded of Olgur, one of Count Andromalius’ Generals.
[Take the scar of his face off, make him look younger and weaker and change the color of his skin and you just get an Olgur.
I think I know roughly what species Olgur is but stronger and more savage additionally he should get some buffs from serving the Count and Hell itself].
Although I knew more of him because of that I was still unconfindent that I could take him on without sneak attack or at least one more evolution.
From this information and my experience, I knew a little bit more, how [Insight] or Hell judged whether or not a demon was already a baron or not. For the later rank of nobility, I had no idea at all. Anyway back to the [Hobgoblin]
[So this is what a goblin will normally evolve into, huh? Judging by it’s skills and level, it still not even qualified as a baron ranked demon, crazy but fortunately it’s power should be the same as the [Hell Fire Lizard] that I have just killed].
The [Hobgoblin] was wearing a leather shoulder pad and a loin cloth covering it’s lower body. On it’s hand it was holding a club. Quite a well equipped I should say, which led me to ask, where in the Hell did a [Hobgoblin] had all these weapons and armors just like a human?
The [Hobgoblin] saw me and ran towards me. I immediately raised my awareness and readied myself to retaliate, if the [Hobgoblin] suddenly attacked me.
“Wait… I was told by Count Jakath for you to come with me… now come okay?” There were some pauses on the sentence and I guessed that it was a bit tired?
“Why should I come? Can he just force teleport me like always?” I answered back at him. Under normal circ.u.mstances I would follow him but the bad feeling that I had sensed suddenly came and grew stronger if I accepted it’s invitation.
Although, my body sometimes didn’t obey me at least it didn’t want me to be killed and in this kind if place I trusted it in spite of unknown reason who or what sometimes controlled my body.
The [Hobgoblin] was visibly enraged for a moment but the rage quickly subsided and it forced an ugly smile. “Because Count Jakath ordered you so you should obey him and he didn’t have time to personally come for you.
Now come with me before I force you to. You are already almost at the outskirt of Count Andromalius’ territory and you should go back less you want to be a rogue demon without any protection at all.” The [Hobgoblin] replied.
“Oh really? Tell me more.” I asked while I grinned.
