NING SHUFEN travelled without any hassle, but it didn’t mean that the emotions that she felt was gone. It was still there. Sometimes she even wanted to tell Cheng to turn back and find An Guo and Wu Chang.

Both of them are just too mysterious. In her past life she didn’t hear any of their names. So she let them enter her life.

Cheng was also quiet. He didn’t speak even a single word. He was also affected by Wu Chang and An Guo’s disappearance. He’s a secret guard and he was trained not to feel any emotions since he was young.

He was found in the dark alley. The people also said that he was abandoned there with a young woman. Her appearance was of a young lady of a rich family. But none of them know her and her face was also blurry. It was like someone wanted all of them to forget her face.

Cheng was worried for Ning Shufen. He feel like ha now had a younger sister. He wanted to protect her from anything. He was not supposed to be his guard but he asked Ning Yaling. His cultivation was also high so Ning Yaling did not refuse his request.

He already know Ning Shufen. He saw her when she was with Ning Yaling. She was young and so adorable. She kept asking Ning Yaling about things that she found mysterious. Cheng laughed at the memories.

He also knew that the Ning Family didn’t trear her well.

Ning Shufen felt sleepy and hungry but she didn’t said anything to Cheng. She didn’t want to stop. That book was much more important that her.

The moon was bright so Cheng didn’t need to light the torch. They stopped for a little while to make the horse rest , eat and drink. Cheng saw that Ning Shufen was sleeping peacefully and he didn’t disturb her.

The journey was quiet and they didn’t saw any dangerous monsters nor bandits. The road was also clear. It was like someone made it clear just for them.

NING SHUFEN woke up with the sun up. It was bright and the carriage was also not moving. She heard the movements outside.

She opened her curtain a little and saw that Cheng was sleeping in a nearby tree, he looks exhausted. Ning Shufen just glanced at him and then she stared at the trees. They were already at the Tia Mountain.

The trees was so big and she could also see a falls nearby. The horse was there taking a rest. It looks like they have arrived earlier than she expected. She expected that they will take two days before she arrived here, but it seems that Cheng was capable.

She didn’t even had to worry about food. Her food was already prepared beside her. Her clothes was also there. Cheng had already prepared all of her things. He was even more useful than the useless maids inside the Ning Manor.

Ning Shufen took a deep breathe before going out. She slept for a long period of time that her back hurts. Why didn’t she just lay down and nap. She was alone and comfortable, but she chose to sleep while sitting down. Dumb.

She still thought that Guo and Chang was still with her. She dreamt about them.

Cheng woke up with her slight noise. He saw that Ning Shufen was up and was stretching lightly. She looks like a young man that has a powerful backing when someone will saw her. They won’t recognize her as the Second Miss of the Ning Family.

“Wash your face there. I’ll just guard here, Scream if anything happens” Ning Shufen nodded and walked towards the falls. It was so beautiful, the sounds of the falling water made her calm down. Her emotions were like the sea now.

“Don’t peep” Cheng’s mouth twitched. Why would he do that? He wasn’t a freaking pervert for heavens sake. Why would he peep into a kid. He’s a honorable and loyal man and not some perverted old guy.

Her make up was done accurately. Clothes was also done perfectly and her voice was also a man’s voice.

“Even if I peep. What would I see, It’s just a brick of wall” He was annoyed when he saw what kind of stare Ning Shufen gave at him. She stared at him like a perverted old man.

Although he like to speak a lot of rude and sometimes vulgar words. He wasn’t pervert, okay? He is not a pervert. He respected women and he will respect them no matter what happens. Even though his mother didn’t love him and decided to abandon him.

Ning Shufen didn’t heard what Cheng heard. She didn’t stop walking until she reached the falls. It looks so surreal. So divine. She didn’t saw this in her past life and she was thankful that she saw this.

She took off her robe and dip her hands to the water. It was cold but not that cold to make someone freeze. It was cold enough to make someone relax.

Ning Shufen took off her clothes and she remained in her inner clothes. She know that Cheng won’t peep and he will guard her. She had her guard down because she trusted Cheng with her life now.

She just knew that Cheng won’t do anything bad to her. Her instincts were never wrong, and she also trust her instincts.

The water made her whole body relax. She shivered a little because of the cold. After a few seconds her body had adjust. She liked the coldness of it. The numbness in her back was also gone. She let her mind wander and let her mind relax. Ning Shufen didn’t think of any problems, She just lay there without thinking of any problems. Letting her mind and body relax was the best thing to do when you are full of tension. Her mind didn’t linger to Wu Chang, although he was still there. It was as if the memories of him knew that she was taking a rest and he let her.
