Rebirth: Never Live Up to You - C66
There weren’t many customers at night at the famous store, and the luxurious hall was filled with melodious music. He wanted to find a room that was stopped by her, so he ended up sitting next to the wall in the hall. It was concealed and quiet enough, the soft light shining on the two of them, the plants around them played a role in concealing themselves.
“Su Wenjin, how can women be as good at eating as you?”
“You’ll know when you go back and ask your mom.”
She had only eaten two plates of seafood. Was there really a need?
“Lu Ziyun, do you want to ask why we’re getting divorced?” After eating the last mouthful of seafood, she put down her knife and fork. The Lu Ziruo she had defined was Chi Yinan’s good brother, so of course he was his brother. And now that they had divorced, should she keep a distance from him?
The yuppie waved the goblet in his hand while a smile spread across his face, “What is there to ask, Su Wenjin, aren’t you being a little too careful? Just a little stirring of the wind and you think you’re Chi Yinan’s man, that’s not like you.”
“Lu Hua Hua, don’t play word games with me. Since you’ve already eaten your meal, shouldn’t you show your gentleman spirit and send me back?”
At the very least, she could predict that he would send her back home. The car was parked outside the district, and he didn’t let his car enter it. He got out of the car and walked in by himself, while he lowered the window to watch her figure disappear under the street light.
In fact, in the days since their divorce, she didn’t deny that she had thought of Chi Yinan. After all, he was her ex-husband who had lived for a few years, but tonight was rather special, so she couldn’t sleep.
After tossing and turning, she couldn’t sleep, so she got up and made herself a cup of coffee. She sat on the deck chair and looked up at the sky, the night was not bad, the moon was big and round, very bright, like a big shining plate, the temperature in the middle of winter was slightly low, she wrapped up her blanket tightly, drank her coffee and entered the house, her body was cold, she went to the bathroom to take a hot shower, and when she came out it was already early in the morning, she lay on the bed blurrily and finally fell asleep.
Su Wenjin usually stayed home to watch movies on weekends, then went for a walk in the evening and stopped by the supermarket. Because he slept late last night, he woke up around ten this morning and went to the bathroom in his thick, fluffy pajamas. His hair was tied into a ponytail, and just as he walked into the living room, he heard some rustling sounds coming from outside the door.
She walked to the door suspiciously. Her voice became louder and louder as she opened the door with a “Hua La” sound. She gasped in surprise.
A giant dog swaggered into the room, using the word ‘giant’ to describe it, because it really was very big, up to her thighs, with a thick layer of white fur hanging from its body, swaying from side to side as it walked, some of it even hiding its eyes, revealing only its cute black nose, and its thick tail, shaking from time to time, only to see it walk over to the blanket in the middle of the living room, squatting down on its hind legs, then wailing pitifully towards her, wagging its tail.
She was not afraid. She went closer and squatted down to touch its head. It was very obedient, so it just laid down and let her touch its head. It even put its hand on her palm in a friendly manner, then licked the palm of her other hand. She touched its black nose and stroked its fur.
It was as if she was wearing a black vest. She wanted the owner of this dog to be very cute too!
