Rebirth Of A Dragon God - 34 Boats x625!
(*I did it! I finally fucking did it! I’m a goddamned mad lad I tell ya!! I have written up the arc for the next 20-30 chapters, so all that’s left to to make it sound less shitty. Ok cool, continue reading. Also, I didn’t forget about other empresses; they’ll be taken away after this competition part.*)
By now, it was several hours into the competition. Each of the 625 teams had settled the matters concerning their leader, and had moved on into the planning phase. The ones deemed the best artists were tasked with design and leadership, while the rest did the manual labor. This went relatively quickly since a lot of the girls had pre planned their designs.
Most of the teams had already completed the ‘barebones’ ship; consisting of a hull and the skeleton. Following this, several dozen women would be tasked with the job of forcing the wood to bend. It was a delicate job for them since any one of them had the strength to decimate the wood. It was for this reason that many teams rotated the girls out until they found the ones who could properly handle their strength.
The others would be put to the task of applying primer to the wood, and covering it with tar to make it watertight (This confuses me because some websites say tar is waterproof, and some say it isn’t. In this story it is).
Kuini, Xinyi and the judges she selected were spectacularly failing their roles as they spent more time bickering with each other and flirting with Da long than they did judging. Nevertheless, Da long smiled as he watched the scene. With his sharp eyes, he could easily see most of the designs for the ships, and most of them centered around him. Many had the bowsprit (*the front part of the boat that sticks out*) designed to be his godly body.
A few however, had their bowspirit shaped just like his ‘big dragon’ (a.k.a, there’s a big cock at the front of the ship), which made him almost burst out laughing. He was thinking just how terrifying it would be to see that ship charging at you.
Other popular themes were of mythological creatures such as dragons and wyverns; or mermaids and sirens.
It was roughly 12 hours into the competition before the women began attaching their hulls to the skeleton. Using their own strength as clamps, they lined up next to each other and forced the shape to hold. Other women would take care of painting it with tar to waterproof the hull, and crafting the sails.
Thinking ahead, Da long had an interesting idea. He currently housed over 30 million women in his little worlds, yet less than 6% of them showed up to watch. He mulled over ideas in his head, before a solution came to him.
His eyes brightened as he thought of a ‘live viewing’ option he could add to the system. This would be a feature where any number of girls could watch a live playing of another girl’s mission. By introducing this, more of the non-cultivating women would be able to identify with the cultivating women, and the cultivating women would be incentivized to take more missions and perform better.
Fully satisfied with this idea, Da long entered the administrator system, and began implementing the live viewing system. To make things even better, he made it so that each of the teams during this competition would be able to work under a custom banner, and receive votes from the viewers.
For normal live viewing of parties of 6, he added similar options. Locking it all in, he sent the update to all the women. Immediately, the new update notes popped up, notifying each woman of the additions.
Pausing, all the women stopped to stare at Da long before discussing the new additions amongst themselves.
Within minutes, many of the groups had drawn up their banner and started creating their team names. Instantaneously, the viewers started coming in. Before long over 25 million women had tuned in. The rest- well they were probably off taking missions, sleeping, or masturbating to Da long.
As the votes started rolling in, the top five teams were: Team Rose, Team Vermillion, Team Treasure, Team Rainbow Mermaid, and the most shameless team; the team titled Da long’s Fan Club. As expected, there would be at least one team who would suck up HARD to Da long. (Put teams in english instead of Chinese to make it less confusing. Doesn’t sound as cool tho)
The number one spot was taken by Da long’s fan club. It was as if the women identified with this group the most. Second place was Team Rainbow Mermaid, and the subsequent followers were Team treasure, Team Rose, and Team Vermillion.
By using the new live viewing system, the women in the stands were able to see much closer to the action. They were able to freely switch between teams and each member of the team with free camera controls.
Most of the women were very appreciative for this because either their cultivation bases were too low to view the intricacies of the competition, or they didn’t have cultivation at all.
Leaning back, Da long placed his hands behind his head and watched the competition in contentment. The several women around him however, fought over who would get to sit on his lap. In the end, Kuini won, although she did let the other women grab ahold of each of his arms.
*BTS*
Four days have passed since the start of the competition, and the ships were beginning to come together.
The flashiest ships by far was a tie between Team Treasure, and Team Rainbow Mermaid.
*Team Treasure* had cast the exterior with a thin layer of silver; making the whole ship blindingly bright beneath the sun. Although the silver was only 2cm thick atop the wood, it was enough to make it weigh significantly more than the other ships. It was roughly 60 meters long and had a height of roughly 20 meters. There were four silver masts; each with silver embroidered sails. The foremost mast was connected to the bowsprit with three jibs (smaller sails that connects the first mast to the bowsprit), two large sails and a foresail. The middle three were identical and the last one was the smallest.
Beneath the bowsprit was an ornate silver sculpture of Da long holding Kuini in his arms, seemingly flying. It seems that most of the teams had decided to dedicate the art to Da long.
*Team Rainbow Mermaid* had taken a similar approach, and had covered the whole ship with special materials. This time, it was a thin layer of rainbow scales. The positioning of the colors changed depending on where one stood causing many of the women in the stands to be wowed. Under the bowsprit was an intricate carving of a mermaid with dazzling sapphires for eyes. It’s size was very similar to the Treasure ship.
It was *Da long’s Fan Club* that went all in on dedicating the ship to him. It was very large ship; even larger than the ones prior. The wood was a nearly black ebony causing it to have a dominating aura. The whole of the outside had been carved into with precision, showing scenes all focused around Da long. Each rail of the bannister was a carving of himself holding up the sun, while the walls outside the captain’s quarters was carved full of scenes of Da long satisfying his women.
It was the seventh day meaning that the competition was wrapping up, and surprisingly, most of the teams were finished. During this time, both Team Rose and Team Vermillion were dethroned from the top five and replaced by Team Love and Team Fatale.
Da long stood up and began counting down as the end neared.

Stop.
Setting down what they were doing, all the women grabbed towels and began to wipe their sweat off. With their cultivation bases, they were able to stay up for over a week without sleep, but it didn’t mean they had endless energy. Even cultivators get tired too.
Patting each other on the back and sharing hugs, the women began to check their standings and scores. It was also at this time that they started to check their competition.
There was quite a big disparity between the top rankers and those behind them. As could be imagined, the talented women attracted other talented women. This meant that the less talented women had to make do with other less talented women.
Most of them sighed and shook their heads. They then began to check their badges and profile rankings. Every single one of them had received 100Gp and 100XP, plus a badge for their participation.
The top teams had been voted for in order of highest to lowest. 1st place belonged to Da long’s Fan Club for the massive intricate ship which could easily be considered ‘art.’ 2nd place belonged to Team Rainbow Mermaid for their colorful ship. 3rd was Team Treasure. 4th was Team Love, and 5th was Team Fatale.
Xinyi and the judges next to Da long were all discussing the results of the viewer voting and found themselves agreeing with the results. If based off looks alone, the top three were the clear winners. As for their effectiveness, that was left to find out at the navigation trials.
Clapping his hands and gathering attention, Da long lifted Kuini and the other girls off his body before standing up. “Fantastic work! As I said before, each of your ships will be used eventually and will be put into storage. The top three teams are: My own fan club, Rainbow Mermaid, and Treasure. They will work together to craft a true masterpiece and shall sail with me for 6 months. After that, the rest of the participants will be allowed to sail their own ships beside me.”
Using the system, he gave each woman of the top 3 a special badge. 1st place was gold with a ship majestically soaring through it. 2nd was similar, but silver while 3rd received bronze.
Smiling at the three groups, he said “Very good. It is time that we move onto the combat competition now. It will be held in three days at the Red Lands. Use these three days to prepare yourselves and wrap up any prior commitments. I hope to see each of you there!”
Waving the three winning teams in, he teleported them to the highest tower within the nearby capitol city. The whole building was essentially glass, allowing the women to look down on the whole little world.
“Congratulations my women, it seems a special reward is in store for each of you!” Giving them a wolfish smile, he allowed Kuini, Xinyi and the other judges to strip him of his robes.
