Rebirth Of An 8000 Years Old Mage - 7 DongHe Pavilion
In order for Xiao Yang to grow stronger, he must consume elemental cores that have Wind element attribute. However, elemental potion can also give the consumer elemental points when compatible.
People with any fire type elemental power can learn to become an alchemist that can create varies type of elemental potions, however, elemental potions are created using varies types of herbs that are collected from within the portals. In lower-class portals, such resources are generally scarce and as a result, the price of an elemental potion is very demanding.
‘I will never be able to get stronger without resources, I will need to find a way to make money.’ Xiao Yang thought to himself.
‘ah-ha!’ It hadn’t been long since Xiao Yang was reincarnated, but he was already forgetting that he himself was a grandmaster who seen thousands of martial techniques and even created some himself which are still stored vividly in his memory. However, when it comes to drawing techniques down on a book, one must activate their elemental soul to the print technique’s essence into it.
Martial techniques are too complicated to learn, this is why skilled masters print out the technique’s essence onto the book as a guide to those that read it. When one looks into the book with essence they would see the pictures as if it was alive, therefore they would understand it more.
After activating the Celestial Divine Body, Xiao Yang quickly draws out the techniques onto a book, because of the time limit on how long the Celestial Divine Body can remain activated and plus the cool down period of a week, It took him an entire month to draw out three-quarter of the technique but this is already considered usable.
In a low-class city such as DongHe City, a merely D-Class technique was considered top-rank. So in order to not stir up any commotion, Xiao Yang had only drawn out a C-Class technique.
The technique is called Sword Faze, it’s a sword technique that confuses the opponent by creating many sword mirages, the opponent would think they were real. The technique can be practised by anyone but the full effect can only be cast by a C-Class mage or higher, simply because the technique requires a high amount of fitness to actually creates more realistic mirages.
After leaving the Qian Manor, Xiao Yang hid in an empty alley and making sure no one is around, he put on a black cloak and a white mask that covered the upper part of his face.
Xiao Yang then proceeded to make his way to the DongHe Pavilion, the pavilion is divided into many floors, each floor sells different type of good and services. There are a total of four floors, and those floors are: the Elemental Material Market, Potion Market, Weapon Market, and the Auction House.
Upon entering the pavilion and up the floors to the auction house, Xiao Yang deliberately increased his aura to those equivalents of an S-Class mage, the aura of his past life was surprisingly kept after his reincarnation and luckily he had practised a technique that can control his aura.
A beautiful maid standing at the entrance, upon detecting his aura, greeted him in and politely asked, “How may I help you, sir?”.
“I’m looking to for the supervisor who is in charge of the auction house”, Xiao Yang deepen his tone to sound like a middle-aged man.
“I shall notify the supervisor right away, sir”, the maid walked off to inform the supervisor.
Before too long, the maid returned with a middle-aged man wearing expensive clothing. The maid gestured, “Sir, this is our supervisor that is in charge of the auction house.”
The supervisor upon also detecting his aura was given a shocked by the power aura given off, “Sir, would you like to follow me to the private lounge?”
“Okay”
They quickly made their way to a balcony that overlooks the entire auction, Xiao Yang sat down on a comfortable wooden chair and the supervisor quickly pulled some tea onto the teacup for him.
“Sir, How may I help you?” The supervisor asked humbly and trying to put up a humble smile, but ultimately it turned creepy instead.
Xiao Yang ignoring the smile and just said, “I want to auction off an item of mine. Please call in your most trusted appraiser”
After confirming that Xiao Yang was here to conduct business, he was now getting more anxious on what sort of item an S-Class mage might auction off. So he quickly calls in the appraiser.
A short while later, a middle-aged man arrived in. He looked too young to be called an appraiser, but don’t be fooled by his look as he may as well already be in his 100s.
Seeing the appraiser, Xiao Yang took out a book and placed it onto the table, which prompts the appraiser and the supervisor to closely inspect its content.
Upon finishing inspecting the content, the appraiser said, “If I’m not wrong, this is a complete set of C-Class sword technique.”
The technique was actually still missing a quarter of its content, but they were unable to notice it. Xiao Yang wasn’t going to tell them that, so he just nodded and said, “Yes, it’s indeed a C-Class sword technique.”
The appraiser thought about it and then said, “Since it’s a C-Class then the starting bid would be 400,000 silver coins or 4 D-Class Elemental Coins.”
Elemental coins are made out of varies ores that are mined from within the portals. D-Class Elemental Coins are created using D-Class Elemental Ores and require a D-Class mage to forge it.
Elemental Coins can be used as a weapon when activated using elemental powers. If an E-Class mage used a D-Class elemental coin then it will amplify its attack to the level of a D-Class, once used the elemental coin will vaporize.
