Rebirth: Son Of Lucifer - Volume 1 Chapter 3

In front of James as he lay on the grass was a stone path leading from the mansions doors down a hill and far out. Along the road were houses and farms.

If James wished so, there was a town not to far down the road within visable distance that he can go to. However he was a little bit lazy at the moment and never left the masions property itself.

James lay there stareing at the sky untill he heard the door open. Before he could turn around he heard the cheif maid yelling at him, “James!Your not supposed to leave this house without telling someone!”. James sat up quickly and stared at the woman, ” sorry but it looked nice out, I frogot”

“Don’t You lie to me, you snuck out on purpose to get away from chores”. James got up and ran down the stone path quickly.’damm it. I don’t wannaaa’.

After about 2 minutes of running he had came to a stop. looking behind him the woman had not chased after him. In front of James was the the town.

The streets were filled with people of different races, looking around in awe of the amount of people he stared to wander the streets.’I wonder if theres any schools for magic or something…maybe even a market with a sword..wait…I have no money…ugh.’

James started to walk around the town exploring all the streets and back roads, afterall, to him at least, what royal shouldn’t know there own land.

As he walked he saw a kid siting down alone looking at what looks like a notebook. James walked up twords the kid. “hello” The little boy peered up at him,”hello?”

“um….what are you doing?”

“Drawing,” He turned the notebook twords James showing a colorefull sky with a person floating in it with pitch black wings. “wow thats awesome”

“T-thanks” As the kid let out a little bit of embarsesment, and scrached his head.

“My names James, nice to meet you”

“Names Tom”

“So, friends?”

“Sure”

James and Tom then walked around the town together. stoping from time to time, so that Tom could show James around.

As the sun had started to set, James left Tom and went back home. By the time he got to the doors he felt a chill go up his back. ‘Im so getting in trouble…’

He opened the door and slowly closed the door. “James, where were you today?” a soft voice came from behind him. James turned around and looked up at the tall and elegant woman behind him. she wore a long blue dress and her long hair down going to her lower back.

“Um no where special, I made a new friend though Mom” James tried to smile and and act innocent stareing up at his mother. She stared Down at him for a moment without saying anything.

Picking him up and huging him, “Aw im so glad my little boy made a friend finally”

“Mommm~” James said embarrassed. His mother carried him to his father and stared at him. “honnn” He looked at her holding James with a questioning look. “Our baby made his first friend”

“Thats good, he can finally get outside.” Mother Glared at him, “Your the one who said he couldn’t go out yet…”

“O…uh right..”

James quickly lept out and ran to his tum locking the door.’Finally im safe, now lets see, I made a friend and learned most of the town near my home so… I guess now I just need to get stronger so I can travel…maybe I can even go back to the human realm at some point.’

Quickly sitting on his bed he relaxed and spent a few hours cultivateing. After he had finished he fell over.

James sat up and thought about this.’killing right now probably isn’t in the best of his interests, especially sense hes very weak compared to most monsters…though there are weaker monsters than him it would take a while to find something like that in this realm. Skill books would be nice however he doesn’t currently own any. Leaveing him with naturally to learn them.

James sat there for a moment, ‘I mainly want something to have so I can at least protect my self.. but before that I need the basics’.

Putting out his hand he closed his eyes and felt the mana eithin his body flowing like a stream. He slowly tried to push it twords his hand and cover it in the mana. He managed to get it a little over his wrists before he lost concentrateion. ‘ughhh….this is harder then I thought…ughh all the games and meedia made it seem so easyyy.’ takeing a deep breath he sat there calming his breath. This would be alot harder if his emotions are unstable.

Once again he pushed his mana over his hand but this time successfully, then the pushes it a bit past his hand makeing a blackish glow.
