Rebirth: Son Of Lucifer - Volume 1 Chapter 5

James woke up early in the morning and saw that the kid was no longer in bed. James sat up slowly stretching his arms out and yawning.

“Jamesss” a females voice called upstairs.

“Yes?”

“common and get your food or you’ll be late for school”

“comeing!” James responded getting dressed quickly and running down the stairs to eat. The smell of pancakes and bacon freshly cooked filled the room and he looked over into the dinning room. There was a man and woman sitting down at the table with a boy sitting next to them.

James sat down at the table where there was a plate with eggs bacon and pancakes sitting on it. Grabbing syrup and pouring it on them he quickly ate the food then got up. “Thanks for the meal ma!” James and his new little brother ran outside to get to school.

When they finally got to school James stared at it for a moment before going inside. Waving bye to his brother he went into his classroom and took a seat in the back corner. As kids filed in taking there seat a blonde girl sat next to him. He glanced at her for a moment before looking back out the window. ‘I wonder how this will go.’

Class starts and the teacher does her introductions then goes and asks the students to say their own names. As the students go around taking their turns, eventually the girl next to him had her turn.

“My name is Jessica or Jess, ” James thought about this for a bit to remember it.

“Ok nice to meet you, and you?” She said looking over towards James and causing him to come back to reality.

“huh..o uh my name is James”

“Nice to meet you James” The teacher then went on to talk about their plans for the day and some activities.

James poked Jess, “Hi, how are you?”

” Hi, I’m good, you?”

“I’m good ”

“Guess we will be classmates for awhile”

“Mhm,”

James talked to Jess all day until the bells went off and they left the building. Outside his brother came up to them with 3 kids behind him. “Hey bro”

“Hi, they your friends?”

“Yea”

“K” James then turned to leave and go home while his little brother fallowed him. As they got to their home James sat on the grass. His brother, Isaiah, stared at him. “what are you doing?”

“Just sit down and sit in a comfortable position.” Isaiah did so confused but without much hesitation in front of James. “Good now close your eyes, I’m going to teach you something. take a deep breath in until your lungs are full then slowly empty them, and repeat this”

“Ok,” Isaiah didn’t really question it much and simply did so. As he did this for a few minutes it became easier to do it and his mind felt clearer.

“focus on the feeling when you breath like this and keep doing it for awhile until you feel like stopping, you can do this whenever you feel like it”

“Ok brother, ” with this they both got up and went inside seeing there mother cooking dinner, they sat down and waited for the food. once it was finished and placed on the table they ate dinner with their parents peacefully. They talked for a bit while they ate.

As they finished there food the brothers found themselves tired and so they then went upstairs and brushed their teeth after.

James laid down in his comfy bed after getting undressed and looked over to see Isaiah meditating on his own bed. Seeing this made James smile a bit. ” He’s doing it more then what I thought, well its not a bad thing, it will help him in the future one day.’ With this, James turned over on his side after turning off his table light and closed his eyes.

James lied there passed out cold for the rest of the night in his bed, which Isaiah soon passed out as well. Not too long after the house was dark and the only sounds were that of nature outside. A peaceful Fan blowing the air around and a AC keeping the room cold.
