Reborn As Kakashi’s Adopted Son - Chapter 26 ANBU
Robin could be seen standing in the woods just outside of the training field he knew the girls would be at. He was scared because he left a couple of years ago to start his training, but he never told them even one thing about himself not even a little bit of the truth. The way they parted was after his outburst, so he was scared to see them and see if they still accepted him even after everything.
He was prepared to tell them about his darkness element and try to fix everything that he may have broken. What he saw while watching were two young girls,to be honest, they were beauties they weren’t grown up yet, but he could see that they would turn into the most beautiful women he had would ever see.
A red-haired girl and a black haired were training with each other when they noticed someone’s presence. They looked at each other and were alert and decided it was time.
The next thing they did was attack the presence that they felt but before they had even passed half the distance ice spears were pointed at their necks. Even if Robin didn’t want to do this and attack them, he did it out of instinct after all he also did it to his own father. This was something that became normal for him because he trained in a forest with many chakra beasts so he was always alert as soon as he felt someone with the intent to attack him he would attack them instead not even asking a simple question.
He realized what he had done, so he decided it was time to walk out of his hiding spot, and the girls were shocked because one time there were ice spears directed at their neck and the next second they just disappeared.
And what they saw next was something they never would have expected a boy standing tall at 6 feet lean muscles the most handsome face they had ever seen the boy had a pointy hairstyle, white hair with blue plucks in it and the most black eyes they ever saw. He was wearing a standard ninja jumpsuit and a white coat this was, of course, Robin walking out of the woods. At first, they didn’t realize it, but after seeing the little lion on his shoulder sleeping, they realized that this was Robin.
Hanabi’s heart started beating faster than ever this was the guy she fell in love with even after not seeing him for so long she still had the same feelings her father had tried to get her to fall for some geniuses from the clan yet she never showed any interest in them.
For Kyohaku it was a different story her heart didn’t beat any faster than before after all she never fell in love with him for real. She saw Robin as one of her best friends at first she didn’t know how she felt about him that’s why she pressed so hard to get into his squad to see what she felt for him. But over time her feelings started to fade and instead the little crush she had turned into pure friendship and she knew deep down that would never change.
Robin was also kind off stunned seeing the girls after all he didn’t know what their reaction to seeing him would be he was scared they would flat out say the didn’t want anything to do with him anymore.
It was silent for a little while before Robin decided to speak up with an awkward smile on his face “yo long time no see huh.”
The girls seeing this started laughing and the uncomfortable atmosphere that was there before was gone. They started talking while Robin kept on apologizing for going away without telling them and began to tell them the truth about his darkness element and his minor accomplishments in the elements.
The friendship that he thought to have lost turned out to be never changed but what he didn’t realize is that one of these girls loved him. He wasn’t experienced in this at all, so he failed to see the simple sings that gave it away after all Hanabi was blushing the whole time while looking at him. If any fan of the Naruto series would see this, they would only think ‘so being shy in front of the person you love is something that runs in the family huh.’
The trio talked for a long time, and when it started to get dark, they decided to part ways while Robin knew it was time for him to talk to Tsunade. Robin didn’t want to be stuck as a Genin and decided it was time for him to enter Anbu his combat ability could match a mid-level jonin right now, so it was time for his enrolment. And also time to gather information to know how much time is left till the final war he hoped he had at least 2 to 3 years left before everything started to take the wrong turn.
Instead of body flickering to the Hokage office he decided to walk it started to get dark and Robin still felt the most comfortable in the dark it was like it comforted him. It felt like being in a father’s embrace. While walking Robin started to notice something he realized it he had awakened the next stage in the darkness element.
Cofa felt a change and opened his eyes, and his little blue eyes opened up wide while trembling from excitement, “Nii-san you have awakened it huh.”
“Yes, I have Cofa” Robin smiled knowing what he awakened Cofa had told him about 3 of the many stages of this element and right now he was happy with what he had awakened because it would make his time in the ANBU so much easier.
He had awakened the stage of, ‘Merging’ at this stage Robin could merge himself into the shadows and move through it someone of his own strength couldn’t detect him. But stronger people could detect him, but this would make his assassination missions so much easier.
After a while he reached the Hokage’s office and decided to merge himself into the darkness he merged himself and moved through the office until he entered the office room of the Hokage. As soon as he entered 3 people moved towards him Tsunade herself and 2 high-level Anbu jonin. Robin created an ice field fast to slow their movement just a little bit, of course, people of their level needed only a second before they would adjust so Robin immediately activated his Hermes shoes and dodged their attacks. More than this he couldn’t do so he started to talking “please calm down its only me” he said while smiling.
The people in the room were surprised that the boy was able to dodge their attack even if it wasn’t their strongest attacks or anything like that but to dodge something like that someone had to be at least of mid-level jonin and to see a young 13 year old do it was kind of surprising.
Tsunade looked over and saw Robin just lazily standing there she was kind off annoyed by his attitude, but she decided to look past it, so she spoke up, “what are you here for Robin Hatake.”
Robin just merely replied with “let me enter an Anbu assassination squad.”
The atmosphere in the room changed, after all, there were not many people that would want to do that on their own request.
And like this, the tale of Robin Hatake started he had finally entered ANBU.
