Reborn As The Daemon’s Wife - Chapter 139
Dairon took her words as his cue to turn around. She cupped his face and pressed a kiss on his lips. His fangs were just as Bardumond had described—extremely sharp at the ends. She would have been terrified of them if they belonged to someone else.
“Don’t bite me.” She chuckled jokingly before prying his lips open with her tongue. He wrapped his arms around her as he took her tongue in his mouth. His heart raced wildly and although he wanted to be gentle, his self control slipped through his fingers as soon as he had a taste of her.
She felt her knees go weak and was lifted off the ground, prompting her to wrap her arms around him.
His lips tasted different with his demon side unrestrained and it was perfect. The piece of them that felt missing before was now in place. She tugged his lip with her teeth as she felt her body lower onto the bed. He followed her down and lay next to her with their lips still locked. His hands roamed her body and cupped her boobs, kneading them through her underwear. She slid her fingers through his hair and bit her lips in pleasure as heat pooled between her thighs.
“I want it off.” He regarded her inner clothes like they were bothersome. “Right now.”
She took his hand and placed it on the waistband of her underwear in silent approval. He sliced it down in one move using his claws that retracted as soon as she looked down at his hand.
She closed her eyes, heat coursing through her body as he caressed her thighs.
He pushed her onto her back and hovered over her. He nudged her thighs and she parted them in silent invitation. Her face flushed when he ran his forefinger finger along her core. Her first instinct was to try to press her thighs together but he held them apart with his knees. He kissed her lips and sucked on them as he rubbed her wet core. A gasp escaped her parted lips as she grabbed a fistful of the sheets beneath her. Her back arched as he slowly slid his middle finger into her.
He gently thrust his finger inside her and pulled it out, putting it in his mouth.
“You taste amazing.” He licked his fingers, making her want to hide in embarrassment. “But if we don’t stop now, we can forget about our walk.”
She smiled and hugged his back. “Then let’s go.”
He leaned down and kissed her lips before pulling himself off the bed. He wouldn’t be able to stop himself if he stayed there any longer, and he wanted her to be certain that she was ready before he could take things further.
She sat up only to realize that she was wearing nothing. She covered her chest with her hands. Was he really going to watch her dress up?
He saw her nervous antics and chuckled. “I’ve already seen it all. What’s the use of hiding it?”
“Shut up.” She grabbed a garment and threw it at him in embarrassment, only to realize that it was her underwear. Her face couldn’t get any redder.
To her surprise, the demon controlled himself and watched as she dressed up, though his eyes were full of fire and evident lust by the time she was done.
She tied her hair up in a ponytail and nervously tried to brush past him.
He grabbed her hand and sat her on his lap, placing her palm against his crotch. “This is what you do to me, flower.”
“I…” She didn’t know what to say to that and could only stutter.
He looked at her exposed neck and felt his fangs press against his tongue. This wasn’t the first time he was seeing her exposed neck but he had never had such a strong urge to bite her before. Logically, he should have felt it before she accepted him. Why was it that since she accepted him as her mate, he wanted to bite her so badly? He pulled her off his lap before he could lose control of himself and led her out.
…
The sea was as beautiful as he had described. The sun had set, leaving behind beautiful hues in the horizon.
He held out his hand to hold hers. She looked down at it and placed hers on it. He squeezed it and when she looked up, their gazes met.
She smiled and tiptoed to kiss his cheek. He returned the kiss on her cheek with a smirk. “Did you know that making out with a demon is illegal? You just broke the rules.”
“Is it? Did I?” She found it ridiculous. Since it was possible for a demon to have a goddess as a mate, why was it wrong to make out with them? How would they get married then?
“But the rules are dumb anyway.” He snorted.
“Who made them?” She glanced at the sea as she wondered who was that brainless.
“Isn’t it obvious?” He nudged her and she immediately understood. King Rian. That was expected. He probably set those rules to suit himself.
“Are you certain that he doesn’t know who you really are?” She asked, recalling everything Rian said that made it seem like he knew everything.
“He has never found out.” He assured her.
“But Narilia knows. She is his granddaughter by blood even if he doesn’t acknowledge her.” She contemplated. Was it possible for him to convince her to tell him?
“He would have to go to the underworld to meet her but he can’t do that. Besides, I made Narilia forget everything that led to her becoming a demoness, including how she found out that I’m a demon.” He held her hand against his chest.
A ripple formed in the sea and he frowned.
“What happened?” She followed his gaze to the sea.
“She’s here.” He pointed at a part in the sea and she looked over just in time to see Alaya’s head peeking out to the water surface. She walked over to them nervously.
Jasmine knew why she was here—she was trying to get close to her son—so she let go of Dairon’s hand and hugged Alaya, kissing her on both cheeks.
“Hey, it’s nice to see you. Are you going for a walk?” Alaya greeted them as if they had been in close contact for years.
“We are.” Jasmine responded with a smile, knowing that Dairon would probably ignore her. “What about you?”
Alaya glanced at her son and hoped he wouldn’t send her out of his island. “I was just dropping by on my way and decided to bring you snacks.”
She held out the basket in her hand, which was made of waterproof material.
Jasmine ignored Dairon’s gaze and held out a hand to receive Alaya’s basket. “Thank you.”
“Since when did you two become so close?” His jaw ticked. He was evidently annoyed.
“Recently.” Jasmine played with the basket and couldn’t wait to find out its contents. Whatever was inside was obviously meant for Dairon and couldn’t wait to make him have a taste. She looked overjoyed as she tilted her head to glance at him. “Goddess Alaya is so kind that I couldn’t stop myself from befriending her. It’s the best decision I ever made.”
Dairon’s frown deepened.
“That’s right. Jasmine is so sweet.” Alaya kissed her cheek and she was not just doing it to make Dairon think they were close. Jasmine was probably the kindest female with the fire element.
Dairon glared at the basket and it would have gone ablaze if fire was his element.
Realizing it, Jasmine pushed her luck. It wouldn’t bother him in the slightest if he didn’t care.
“Would you like to join us for a tea party tomorrow?” She invited Alaya.
She glanced at her son then back at Jasmine. “I’d love to! Where will you have it?”
“At Dairon’s garden late in the afternoon.” She came up with a tea party she had not even thought about.
“I’ll be there.” Alaya chirped and went back to the sea. She watched as Alaya’s silhouette disappeared and smiled in realization. If Dairon hated her half as much as he claimed to, he would have denied her access to the island.
“Tea party?” He looked down at her and swallowed as if holding something back.
“I had such plans.” She lied. “I wanted to call Alaina and Terra over but they couldn’t make it. But it’s alright, Goddess Alaya is friendly too. We can talk about random topics and she can tell me all about water deities.”
“I know just as much about water deities.” He frowned in jealousy.
How possessive, she smirked. But that sealed the deal. She shrugged. “Yes you do, but I can ask Goddess Alaya once in a while. Do I have to always bother you every time I have a tiny question to ask?”
“Yes.” He glared at her.
“Well, I can’t ignore her even if I had nothing to discuss with her.. Would you like to join us for the tea party?” She pushed.
