Reborn As The Daemon’s Wife - Chapter 179
Since she couldn’t go to the human realm, Jasmine wrote a letter to Alaya to ask her to come over to the island. She finished sealing it and sent it off before going to find Dairon in the garden. She still needed to know what he had to do in the Enchanted Circle that required him to spend four whole days there without sending any kind of message to his loved ones.
He was speaking to Bardumond and the closer she got, the odder it sounded. Were they arguing? She wasn’t sure whether to go back or listen in on them.
“Was it you?” Bardumond roared.
“You have too many assumptions.” Dairon brushed off whatever question he had been asked.
Jasmine wanted to listen and find out why they were arguing but was discovered before the duo could say a word more, so she pretended to have heard nothing and walked over.
“Do you guys want something to drink?” She offered awkwardly.
“Maybe next time. I’m leaving.” Bardumond disappeared faster than she could try to convince him to stay. She dropped her hand that she had instinctively reached out and turned to Dairon. “Are the two of you fighting?”
He wrapped his arms around her from behind, breathing into her hair. “Same old matter. He doesn’t trust me.”
“He thinks you are like Ulke and the other demons.” She offered an explanation even though he already knew this. Bardumond had just questioned whether he was the one who tried to kill Jasmine at Terra’s banquet, even though he knew that the two shared a soul and neither of them could live without the other.
She played with his fingers that were at his chest. “What did you need to…” The rest of her words turned into a gasp when he licked her ear.
“I missed doing this.” He fondled her boob with his hand, making her face red in embarrassment.
“Dairon, we are outside.” She reminded him.
“No one can come here unless I let them.” He assured her. She was still nervous although he had sealed all the paths to this side of the garden with a spell to keep everyone away.
He carried her to help her sit on the garden chair and settled beside her. He held the back of her head and pulled her in for a kiss.
She was still scared that they could get caught but that didn’t prevent her from savoring the taste of his lips. She closed her eyes, holding onto his shoulders for support as her body weakened to his kisses. His lips left hers and landed on her neck as he traced her curves. She shivered when he found the hem of her dress and lifted it, then parted her legs and traced her inner thigh.
“Dairon!” She reprimanded in a shaky voice even though she didn’t want him to stop.
“It’s okay.” He whispered against her collar bone, his fingers teasing the gentle skin of her thighs. He was dangerously close to the part that craved his touch the most and he was deliberately driving her on edge. She grabbed a fistful of his clothes at his back in an attempt to push him against her.
He smiled in response to her impatient actions and before she could figure out where he was planning to touch her next, he went on his knees before her and pushed her dress further up before holding her knees apart. She wanted to press her thighs together in embarrassment but her strength couldn’t compare to that of a daemon whose desire had been fully unleashed. His eyes were bloodshot with lust and when he looked into hers, she had the urge to succumb to his temptation.
And she did. She let him get rid of her clothes and kiss her skin, touching her in places she didn’t know she so badly wanted to be touched. He gently pushed her to recline on the bench, with their clothes protecting her head from bumping against the armrest, and used his knees to keep her legs apart.
When they finally became one, she cried out in pleasure and held onto him tightly. They had discussed it before but part of her still dreaded the pain that every married woman in Effinchil talked about. She had thought that at most it would be painless, so the intense pleasure caught her off guard. When it was over, she couldn’t look him in the eye anymore.
“Why are you giving me sidelong glances? You are my wife.” He reminded her.
She nodded. Humans couldn’t consider them a married couple but all that mattered was what they thought of each other.
He helped her dress up and carried her.
“I can walk on my own.” She protested.
“Do you want to give it a try?’ He teased. She stood and took a step and in the next moment, her face reddened. Her legs felt like putty and she didn’t need to be told to know that she couldn’t walk normally.
“If you don’t want everyone to know what happened, let me carry you back.” He offered. It wasn’t like she could say no to that. She buried her face into his chest.
When they walked past Rosetta in the hallway, the maid was worried. “Is Lady Jasmine alright?”
“She is just tired. You can prepare a bath for her.” He instructed. Jasmine wanted to bite him. Did he have to say that aloud? What was worse, Rosetta seemed to understand the situation since she blushed as she did as instructed.
When the bath was ready in his room, she wondered whether it would make sense for her to shoo him out. She had not anticipated for him to step in and beckon her over. She stood still, perplexed by his order.
“Come on. It’s going to be fun.” He coaxed. She couldn’t ignore the mischievous glint in his eyes as they locked with hers. the kind of fun he was referring to was obvious. She went over and he untied her hair, then scooped water in his hands and poured it over her head.
She splashed water at him and when he was about to retaliate, she glared at him out of the blue.
“Is everything okay? Are you hurt?” He asked worriedly.
“No..” She ignored him. Did he do that in the garden just because he wanted to make her forget what she was about to ask him?
