Reborn In The Narutoverse - 152 The Heart of Pan Gu
Kibo stared at the deep and endless tunnel that burrowed into the depths of this realm, the coy fish were swimming around the entrance as if they were powering the portal.
Wugong Wang held his hand out and said, “Before you head off, there is something you should know, inside the here is Pan Gu’s Heart, it is a separate realm and not even I have journeyed there, only Nuwa and Fuxi have been there and returned. It was at the heart where they slew the Sky Devil Emperor, and since then the space has been sealed off.”
Kibo nodded his head and said, “I have an idea on how I can resuscitate Pan Gu’s heart, so it’s now or never.”
Kibo jumped into the pit of darkness and fell for days, it wasn’t until ten months had passed that he saw some solid ground beneath his feet, when he landed he noticed a pair of statues standing across from and facing one another, and a blood read atmosphere surrounding them.

When Kibo approached the statues he felt a force of pressure travel through the air and ripple across his body.
“What is the Tao?” The statue to the left shouted.
“What is the Dao?” The statue to the right questioned.
Kibo felt their voices sting like it was attacking his soul, he coughed up a mouthful of blood, the pressure continued to grow stronger as Kibo looked out and saw rows of millions of statues leading to a massive temple in the distance.
Kibo followed the path and continued to suffer under the same two questions that were repeated over and over again.
“What is the Tao?” The statues to the left shouted.
“What is the Dao?” The statues to the right questioned.
Kibo suddenly felt like his entire body was being crushed under the pressure, the question began to force him to ponder for days, “What is the Tao? I’m a pure Daoist, what would I know, and the Dao is vast and infinite, I can’t comprehend it all yet!”
The deeper he sank into contemplation, the more powerful the voices grew, if he hadn’t refined his body and soul on the star of Xia, then he would have already been crippled by the pressure.
When he reached the halfway point, the statue suddenly said, “What is the Dao/Tao to you?”
Kibo suddenly felt a spark of insight explode inside his mind, “The Dao to me…The Tao…I…”
Kibo sat down and started to think, he entered a strange and wonderous state of enlightenment, “The Tao is…” Kibo’s Shintengan glowed as his Karmic Vision began to evolve, strange strings appeared from out of his body, they were all glowing bright red and were connected through him and the entire universe, along with all of his bonds and connection with his family.
Just like how all inherent Cultivators know how to absorb Essence, Kibo now that he was aware, discovered that all along he also practiced the Tao, the use of Karmic Virtue was aligned to luck, when he thought back to his youth, he noticed that he indeed relied on Karmic Ties to form his current power; all of Kibo’s trials and chance events had a factor of luck to them.
From his birth to his current position, he helped others, he saved his planet and brought up all of Earth to a whole new level, in the process he gained countless threads of fate that bound him to others.
Kibo smiled and touched the two red strings, those were connected to his wives, those that shared the love of a spouse, green represent family and closets Kin, blue was close friends that could be seen as a family, and yellow was followers or individuals that had faith in him, black represent those that had nefarious thoughts against him, and white were those that thought positive about his existence, while clear represented those that had neutral thoughts about him.
Kibo noticed that was a pitch-black string that was surrounded by a cloud of dark smoke, it was from the Otsutsuki Grand Patriarch, the Jade Rabbit himself, Kibo shuddered, he tried to seal off the marking, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t do it.
“Danm it, I cant sever this connection, when the hell did this even get on me? How strong can the Grand Patriarch be to send a curse through Karma?!” Kibo growled.
He shook off his thoughts and sighed, he didn’t know what it was for, but he knew possessing him would be impossible, Kibo’s soul was freakishly strong, plus he had Navi to protect him as well, he was informed that this wasn’t a possession curse but rather an identifying and tracking marker gained through slaying so many of the Otsutsuki members.
As long as he met with a member from that clan, they would know he killed countless Otsutsuki clansmen and be attacked on sight.
Kibo focused on his current condition and sank back into his trance, bit by bit he was formulating a presentation in his mind, the outline of his Dao and Tao became increasingly clear as the pressure on his body and mind lightened.
Kibo marched forward and felt the pressure sapping away his godhood, as he marched on his age caught up with him and his hair turned white and his body began to wrinkle.
The statues were now chanting their interpretations of the Dao and Tao, Kibo finally understood that these were all Heart Demon’s collected the realm of Pan Gu’s core.
“The Tao is infinite, the Tao is Cultivating one’s Destiny, the Tao is all that is meant to be and will ever be.”
“The Dao is infinite, the Dao is Self Cultivation, the Dao is all that encompasses reality and its laws.”
Kibo shook his head, these thoughts could encapture any those that sought the Dao and Tao, leading them to enlightenment, but they weren’t his path, Kibo ignored them and pushed on focusing on his own methodology.
“The Dao is True Freedom, to live without the fear of death and as one wills!”
“The Tao is to grow the world like a garden, to improve and evolve endlessly.”
Kibo mind began to wonder the closer he got to the temple, these Daos and Taos were similar to the path he was walking so they resonated with him, the attacks forced him to almost lose focus on his own way, if he faltered now, he would be crippled and lose his foundation permanently.
Kibo steps had widdled down to a snail’s pace, he thought deeply of his family and all that he saved, “The Tao, is home, it is the connection to those of utmost importance, it is luck and the favor of the world, but a Daoist should never be reliant on it, never should they be completely aware of it either.”
The Heavenly Decree inside Kibo’s world suddenly came to life, however, in the trance Kibo was in he couldn’t pay attention to it, bit by bit, his ideals were coming to perfect harmonization.
The pressure around him began to lighten up once more, “The Dao is a journey, the experience that shapes the mold of Self Cultivation, aided by Taoism but never fully intersecting, the Mortal lays at the crux of all existence.”
Kibo felt his Mortal Dantain shine as it was suddenly purifying his Godly Essence in an unfathomable manner, “Immortals represent the growth of life to a higher stage, the evolution of one’s corporeal being, once treading the Dao to improve, faith begins to coalesce at their cores, the events they are dragged into heightening with risk and responsibilities.”
Kibo felt his Immortal Dantian start to go through a similar process as his Mortal Dantian, “God’s represent the apex of Self Cultivation, through countless trials, and self-discovery, the soul becomes perfect, everlasting, the continuous of perfection to outgrow this universe, to unbind and free yourself from the shackles of existence. To become your own god.”
His Celestial Dantian started to evolve and began purifying his entire being, Kibo felt a wave of warmth wash over him his youth was returned, he then quickly took a single step forward and arrived at the base of the temple that was millions of miles away.
Kibo saw that it was a large stone temple with an altar on the very top, reminiscent of a Mayan Pyramid, he walked up the staircase and saw a single man sitting around a powerful sealing array.
The elder had snow-white hair that draped down the ground, his face was covered in wrinkles and he looked like he was seconds away from dying. He wore a simple and modest white robe that was covered only by his long white beard.
At his lap was a single wooden staff that had some peach leaves growing on the end of it, Kibo walked closer to him and pulled out a cup of his Immortal Wine, the scent of the brew made the elder’s body quake, his eyes shot open and he stared at Kibo with a surprised expression.
“Nuwa?” The elder spoke with a tremble in his voice.
Kibo coughed and said, “Sorry, that would be my mom. Elder, who are you, and why are you in this state?”
Kibo could sense he was human, and a Daoist at that.
“Hahaha! She had a son!” Fuxi smiled, “Well I guess my nephew would have to be a monster, I’m curious as to how you only spent a year crossing the hall of Heart Demons. You look rather young to have established your Dao.” The elder tilted his head.
Kibo’s eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets, “You’re Fuxi!”
“Uncle Fuxi! Now, are you going to let me sip on that wine or are you going to continue acting like an unfilial child?” Fuxi looked like he was at his limit.
Kibo handed over the cup and watched as his shaky hands nearly spilled it all before he downed it all in one gulp.
The wrinkles started to fade as his hair turned pitch black, with his youth restored, Kibo saw that Fuxi wasn’t a God, he was still an Immortal, Fuxi gave off an appearance and air as if he were a saintly scholar that had descended from the heavens.
Kibo’s surprised expression made Fuxi smile, “What, did you think I was a God. Sorry, but there is a Dao that still illudes me, and until I master it, I won’t become a god.”
“What Dao?” Kibo asked.
“Harmony Dao. Like my sister, I have master countless Daos, however, there is one that I can’t completely understand, and until I do, I won’t eat my Dao Fruit, no matter how tempting they are! However, recently I feel that the Dao has become clearer, I was too weak to take on my tribulation, this elixir you gave me has helped greatly,” Fuxi explained.
Kibo chuckled, “So why are you here?”
Fuxi cut his beard and hair, stood up, looking much more refreshed, smiled and said “I’m sealing the soul of the Sky Devil Emperor. Over the years, I’ve managed to whittle down his strength to an Initial High God, but that bastard actually managed to steal my vitality in return.”
Kibo looked around the ground and noticed a powerful array formation in that far surpassed his knowledge, “What Grade of Array is this?” Kibo questioned.
“Peak of 8th Grade actually, the materials weren’t cheap either, every item used to power this Array was a Divine Treasure of the Ninth Level. While they can’t compare to a Chaos Relic that can continuously evolve, 9th Grade God Treasures are all valuable resources formed by the Heavens themselves.” Fuxi cracked his weary bones and stretched his body. “However over the years, it’s been weakened to the state of a Grade 5 Array, the 9th Grade God Treasures are on their last breath.”
Taken aback by the power of the Array, Kibo shook his head as he sensed that these Treasures were beyond salvation, “So the Emperor of the Sky Devils is still alive?” Kibo stared into the array to see a massive stone heart that looked like it was bigger than the size of the entire Milkyway.
