Reborn princess: I will change my ill-fate - 152 chapter 152. The journey
Aeinshia scanned the girl in front of from head to toe. The girl seemed to be a little older than her, maybe a year or two. She was gathering the long dress she was wearing and setting it in front of her neatly. Well, at least she was trying to set it and was failimg miserably.
Aeinshia grimaced lightly when she saw the struggle. ‘Why can’t she set her dress? She is behaving as if it is her first time wearing a dress.’ The girl heaved a sigh, after many failed attempts and then glanced up as if they just popped up in front her, than other way around.
“Oh! I’m sorry for the delay. I can’t seem to manage this dress.” She said with a frown, attempting again to set it, so that the pletes won’t hinder her footsteps. She gave up and adjusted her hair, which clearly a wig, because the royals mostly had black hair.
“Well, you decided to show now, at least.” Oliver replied and the big guy with brown hair named George, chuckled loudly. The man was tall, well built with tanned skin and lot of muscles. Though his exterior was tough and rough, his face and eyes literally spells warmth.
The sturdy and a little chubby face had a big and warm smile. His eyes were warm shade of brown, trying to make everyone comfortable around them. Everything about George seemed to be warm.
While, the other man, Oliver, was the exact opposite of the other man. He was also tall, but skinny. He too, was built, but his muscles seemed to be hidden. His face set into a hard expression and eyes screaming sarcasm and coldness.
Aeinshia was sure, this man would kill the enemies with his cold and deathly glare, rather than getting into battle with them.
And, the girl, she looked strong and strong willed woman. Her structure looked tough, like a trained guard and Aeinshia was almost sure, she was guard of her uncle. Despite, all the tough and strong body, the girl still retained the softness of a women, although she couldn’t handle a dress.
Alexander chuckled when he heard Oliver’s comment. That man always had something to reply, despite the situation. But, Alexander also admired Sana for actively ignoring the comment and minding her own business.
Sana, the girl having difficulty in handling her dress, smiled in the direction of Aeinshia and bowed to her, “Good morning, your highness, Princess Aeinshia. I am Sana.” The girl, Sana, smiled brightly while introducing herself.
Aeinshia awed at her beautiful smile. She returned the smile, but didn’t say anything. Alexander took it upon himself to talk further, seeing they were all new to each other.
Alexander finished with a little face palm and the people around him chuckled quietly. “I’m your smart niece, after all, uncle. You should be expecting that from me.” Aeinshia replied, feeling a little happy now that she has confidence of defeating the enemies.
Alexander smiled wide and patted on her shoulder. He then, turned towards his guards and his expression did a one eighty. Alexander’s face set into a hard expression as he gazed at his guards, who were now standing straight with squared up shoulders.
“Remember your purpose and guard the Princess. I don’t want any mishaps. There is no room for any mistakes. A Royal’s life is valuable. Understood?!” Alexander shouted the last word, making Aeinshia flinch at sudden loud sound.
The three best knights of aeinshia’s uncle replied with a loud ‘understood’. After discussion some things about their journey and things to take care of, they were ready to go from the Palace.
Aeinshia pulled on her black cloak and tied it around her neck. She noticed all of the guards pulled similar kind of cloaks. Though the cloaks were worn, Sana, whose duty was to pretend to be the Princess, dress was still seen.
Sana covered herself with the cloak and started walking towards her horse, when a snarly comment stopped her. “You should walk more like a women. Nobody is gonna believe a Princess walks like that. You should have some respect towards the Princess, Sana.” Oliver said, while walking towards his horse, which was beside Sana’s.
Sana stopped walking and glared at the blond headed man. “I think you should take his advice this time.” George said, popping from behind her back. Sana was startled a bit and snapped her head towards her side to look George, her wig slipping lightly due to the force.
George and Oliver laughed at the angry galore of Sana, who was fixing her hair to right position. Aeinshia smiled silently, while watching the guards. They seem to be pretty to be teasing each other like that. She was glad, that there would be someone to distract her from her thoughts during the journey.
Aeinshia suddenly felt a presence beside her and she glanced up to see Alexander. Alexander quietly smiled at her and patted Aeinshia on her back. “Take care yourself. I am the one responsible to answer about your condition to your father and brother and also, Evan. They would assasinate their Emperor, If anything happens to you. ”
Despite the seriousness of his words, Alexander laughed loud, trying to send Aeinshia light heardtedly. Aeinshia too smiled and hugged her uncle tightly.
Through all the confidence and self belief, she was scared beyond the words and she hoped this warm and loving hug she was getting would get her through all the troubles.
The uncle and niece shared a hug with an encouraging smile from Alexander.
Aeinshia turned around and saw that the guards were on their horses and were in position. She looked up into the sky, which was adorned with raising sun and wished luck from her mother.
She pulled up the hood of her cloak and mounted her horse, brownie, which neighed and Aeinshia patted its mane softly, and the horse neighed softly. Now, they were ready to move.
Alexander nodded at them and they were set into the position they were now. The two ladies would be moving in the middle with the two guards in the front and back.
Soon, Aeinshia found herself looking back at the Palace, as she was moving away of the Palace, in hoped to change her ill fate.
…
Peter got up with a jolt, sweating a lot. He looked like he was drenched into water. The reason for all this is the dream he was having.
Peter wasn’t sure he dreamt about. It was all a blur, but he remembered a lot of fight and heard a lot of screaming.
He heard a women’s cries of anguish as the people around her, he thought, mostly men, laugjing mockingly at her state. The didn’t even seem to remember the place where this all took place.
All he could see was dark setting and rocks at the bottom and a lot of trees. It looked like a forest and the place looked like a cave. He also, dreamt of him searching for something g desperately. His body was trying to get away and run to that place and save whoever was calling for help.
But, he couldn’t. He was bound all over and restricted of any movements. But, as the dream continued all of it went blur, till he woke up in his current state.
Peter stabilized his ragged breath and wiped off the sweat which was trickiling in Hus eyes from his forehead. “What was that?” He questioned himself and fell back on his bed and took deep breaths to calm his frantically beating heart.
He looked out of his window, which was blowing cool morning wind, cooling his body and mind, much to his relief. The sky was showing the incoming day. The sun was still not up, but the light was making its way into the land, waking up the birds, which were in turn waking up the humans for another day on this earth.
“Time to get back to work.” Peter told himself and hauled himself up to his feet.
He did his business and got ready, getting everything ready for his journey to the East. Wile doing his work, he thought of all the things he could tell Evan, when the Crown Prince would start braking at him, for defying his orders.
Peter knew, he was going to get a earful for what he was doing, but Emperor’s orders were also right. Peter simply, could not ignore the Emperor’s worries, even though he only obeyed his superior’s, Evan’s words only.
He sighed at the thoughts and got everything ready. He would be visiting the Emperor at his chambers first, and inform about his departure, then he would be setting out on his journey, which would be of two days.
“Its going to be long today.” He told himself, not knowing what the fate has in store for him.
His day would be going totally opposite than his imagination.
