Her treatment was now over and she requested the main medic to accompany the royal guards and others who got hurt, as she assured him she would be doing fine on her own.

It took a lot of convincing from her side and lot of resistance from Peter, to let the medic attend to the others. Finally, with a final command with a threatening voice from her mouth, was enough to let Peter, reluctantly agree for the main doctor to attend to the guards, who were being treated by other medics.

The whole incident is kept secret till now and including the medics, not a single person out of this mission know what truly happened.

No one knows what happened, and this incident might be covered for the lifetime, by lying to the whole world that a Royal was attacked on a killing intention, hiding the true purpose of the attackers. After all, no one can assure how the word might travel even if they say the princess is unharmed, sound and safe, still innocent and pure, as this world which she is living is never the place where only baseless rumors entertain them.

Can’t be blamed, if the same lie is repeated few times, then people tend to believe it without any sound proof, that’s the so called illusion truth and the power of words.

She was now all alone in a well kept room, which was cleared for her treatment, especially. She knew that Peter was just outside, beside her door guarding her. She decided to let go of her resistance and finally slip into much needed rest, that she hasn’t been getting since she realized she has to defeat her enemies.

But, now, she was successful, with the help from many and she was happy, thankful and very much contended to achieve her first goal that set for herself. This incident truly increased her faith and helped her withness what Peter is truly capable of. In fact, her respect to him raised to a new level after seeing his fighting skills, though her memory is vague, she could definitely say, he is a true knight of seazle empire and definitely worthy enough, fit enough to stand beside Evan.

Aeinshia let her eyes flutter for sometime, until they finally shut down slowly with her long eye lashes casting a shadow over her cheeks. Her wounds were not that severe, but they needed an ointment to heal.

The room smelled of herbs, nature and soil. The natural medicinal smell enveloped her and was lulling her to sleep. Her eyes were closed, but her brain was still able to process, slowly.

All the events happening were playing in an order inside her brain. Though, they were awful, Aeinshia had a smile on her face, she knew that, even though, there were many uneventful things happened throughout her journey, all of them ended well.

End well, means everything is well.

But, that smile soon disappeared and Aeinshia’s peaceful face contorted into frown, as her brows softly came towards the center.

“What about that man? Who saved me? With that arrow?”

Did I assume things or was the appearance of that unknown face is real? If his presence is truth, then why didn’t I see him with rest of the other guards? Shall I ask Peter about him?

Aeinshia finally decided that it would clear if she confirmed with Peter.

Slowly raising to her feet, she trudged towards the door and knocked the door from her end, in milliseconds, the door opened, Peter’s handsome face appeared in front of her eyes, as he hurriedly asked her, ” Are you feeling ill anywhere your highness? Does it hurt? Your orders are my commands and think of me as a friend, you can tell me anything and any difficulty you are facing and finding, ” He asked her, truly concerned for her and thought she is hiding about her pain in front of him and acting strongly in front of all the guards.

” It is ok if the princess is docile and fragile, I wish she truly speak out her heart and any inconvenience she is having, ” Peter thought as such inside his heart and saw her.

” Your worried expression is truly worth to see. Peter, I am not a child anymore? Please stop treating me like a child and enough of the honorifics. You can call me by my name when it’s only the two of us, keeping in mind that it isn’t our first time meeting each other. I always tried to say it, but never found a good chance, ” She spoke amidst her laughing. Seeing the princess back in full energy and vigilance, he too felt rest assured and smiled back for her.

True, this isn’t their first time meeting each other directly, Peter joined Evan’s side since he was an young boy. So both Aeinshia and Peter knew about each other’s presence and acknowledged eachothers position.

Though both didn’t have many topics to speak and never played around, both of them didn’t also have any enmity left between them and could be called friends in some way.

Peter heaved a sigh of relief, ” If everything is alright, then princess, I ___” He was cut through half way by her stare. He know what her stare mean, so he quickly corrected his way of addressing her and continued, ” So Aeinshia, please rest for a while here and I will start preparations for our stay, ” He informed her, as the sun began to rise below the horizon and soon it would be night, which means, it’s impossible to reach back the capital before the night falls and it would be a hassle to stop between their journey and stay in inns.

Aeinshia slightly furrowed, ” Aren’t we going back to capital? ” She asked innocently.

Peter patients explained her, ” Sana still didn’t wake up from her slumber and there are few guards who need to take rest for a while because of their heavy injuries. We can leave few seriously wounded guards here to bit disturb their treatment, but this place isn’t enough for all to stay over night and we still need take care of the attackers, ” He replied back.

Aeinshia nodded her head understandingly and she understood, since he cared to explain this much, he must have already began to make preparations for their stay and so, peered further into the topic.

” I guess you already finished making preparations for us to rest somewhere, ” This isn’t an interrogative question, but an assertive statement.

“Yes, for security reasons, I think it’s best to stay at the cherry blossom palace in the city outskirts. We can even prison them and ensure to not let them escape anywhere, while all other guards can also rest there in the knight quarters for tonight. I say, it will be comfortable for you to stay there, since there will be maids to tend to your personal needs, ” He told everything in a go.

For a second, Aeinshia began to wonder, when Peter became this talkative, but she could see his career for her and patience towards her and could understand why he is explaining every point to her.

” You can do as you deem it appropriate. Let me ask something, did you see any man near cave, he is an archer I think, ” She tried to frame her question as clearly as possible and peered at him.

Peter thought for a while before answering what he know, ” We didn’t find any archer, but I guess you might be talking about the hunter who tried to help you escape, ” He told, thinking he must be him, whom Aeinshia is referring to.

Her eye brows flinched, she seemed like a fool now, she was even unable to distinguish whether the man who tried to save her was an archer or a hunter.

She laughed wryly at her foolishness, ” He must be it, how is he know? I need to personally thank him, ” She informed Peter.

” He is ok, just got few mild cuts, but being a professional hunter, his wounds really doesn’t matter and he is helping to staff here, ” Peter replied plainly.

Aeinshia nodded wildly, and a wickedness formed on her face, which startled Peter for a minute, ” So tell me, how a Royal will deal with pests like those? ”

An evilness filled her eyes and she decided to punish those black pawns righteously as she warned them before. She isn’t going to be easy on them.
