Reborn: The Lion To Hunt The Wolf - Chapter 218
Elder Xiao’s fierce gaze shot daggers at Old Tang. “Is this how you educate her?”
Evidence spoke louder than persuasion.
“No! This…” Old Tang’s expression darkened that all color drained from her face. She pointed at Xiao Shen with her finger shaking with fury and then she collapsed in anger. Thankfully Advisor Yu helped her to settle on the nearby couch.
Looking at the floor Xiao Ran gasped in shock, she suppressed nausea inside her: “This is sick!”
On the floor was a picture of Jingnan in bed with Xiao Shen! Totally nȧkėd and kissing each other.
The picture exposed her ɨnċėstuous relationships with Jingnan!
Xiao Shen widened her eyes in fear and shock, her face paled considerably.
This happened not long ago, how did Yue Wan get a photo of this? How? No one knows about it! How did she know?
Who was the photographer?
Did he do it?
That’s right, in her past life, the reason Jingnan’s unexpected death was due to these photographs. Without Xiao Shen’s knowledge, he took their intimate moment for his future purpose and hid it deeply.
However, he underestimated Xiao Shen, when she knew about this, she skillfully killed him off and made Yue Xiang as the scapegoat.
—–Now-to-the-present—-
Xiao Shen picked them up with shivering hands to cover them from other’s eyes and looked at everyone in anxiety, she claimed with trembling lips: “It’s not true! It’s not.”
“Shut up!” Elder Xiao exploded. His face depicted a scary and fierce storm. “From now on, nothing in the Xiao Family belongs to you, not even the family name. Your existence will be removed from the Xiao family tree.”
Xiao Shen’s eyes darkened and slid onto the floor like mud. She knew how important the Xiao surname was. She never knew that a day would come where it would be taken away from her.
Jing Zhe was also extremely shocked. Removing her mother was equal to her being not related to Xiao anymore.
She crawled toward Elder Xiao’s feet and tugged on his pants, crying. “Please don’t kick me out of the Xiao Family, Grandpa. I’m innocent. Why are you kicking me out for my mother’s fault? Why are you not treating me as your granddaughter even though I belong to the Xiao family? Why? Why?”
Elder Xiao raised his eyebrows at the sight of Jing Zhe kneeling in front of him. He was completely unaffected with her plea. In fact, his eyes glowed with something akin to disgust.
“Because you were never a granddaughter of the Xiao Family! Your father is not my son.” Elder Xiao replied coldly.
Out of the blue, she started screaming hysterically. “XIAO YANG, you’re scum. Don’t speak as if you are so prestigious!”
No one expected such boldness and they were all stunned when Elder Xiao’s name was shrieked.
Xiao Shen continued: “If not because of your dead son, you won’t be in this position in the first place. So what if you have a son? You don’t have male offspring to carry the bloodline.. …..Hahahaha…..Dead! All dead!…Hahahaha.”
Xiao Ran wanted to tear off her mouth but Yue Wan held her back: “Don’t dirty your hand… Bao!”
Hearing the comment, Litle Bao jumped off and marked his nail on Xiao Shen’s face.
“Ah!…Ah!…” Xiao Shen screamed in pain.
Jing Zhe was beyond terrified and dared not move an inch as she stared at the cat with wide-open eyes. It was extremely creepy and scary!
During the commotion, Old Tang woke up and saw the scene that she never dreamed of.
“What is this!! Shen!” She looked at Elder Xiao and bellowed: “Brother-in-law! I’m begging you! Please spare my daughter!”
Elder Xiao stomped his stick in rage, he had reached the end of his patience: “Security, toss this shameless woman out of the house!”
Little Bao retreated back and jumped to Xiao Ran’s embrace, who was praising him non-stop for his actions! “Such a killer move, Xiao godson. You are so brave.”
With a facial expression of, ‘Praise me more.’ Little Bao nuzzled on her ċhėst and signed it as his territory.
Suddenly he was lifted up in the air and slammed on a hard ċhėst: ‘Where is my fluffy warm bed! Why is it hard!!’
Looking at the person who was hugging him, Little Bao raised his little paw and pushed the man’s handsome face away from him. His face was filled with despise. ‘Go away! I don’t want your hug; Meanie Uncle! Let me go.’
Yue Xiang’s lips arched into a devilish smile: “You did a good job.”
Black lines formed on Little Bao’s head. He made heavy swallowing. ‘Huh!’
…..
Just then, two security guards entered the living room and grabbed Xiao Shen on both sides, preparing to drag her away.
However, not even strong bodyguards could contain her. They had never seen such a crazy woman before.
“Back off!” Xiao Shen mustered the strength to put up a struggle, all the while glaring at Elder Xiao with her bloodshot eyes: “Let go of me! Who do you think you are to chase me away? This should belong to my father… You stole it from him, you old buffalo.… I will get my rights back! Don’t even think about throwing me out, you bastard!”
Xiao Shen’s perfect hair had fallen out of place; her face was bleeding, marked hideously by Bao and her clothes were stained with smudges from rolling on the floor.
“She is crazy,” Xiao Ran concluded matter-of-factly.
Yue Wan looked condescendingly at them and sneered: “How filial.”
Yue Xiang’s lips curved into a wicked smile. “Genetic damage.”
‘Just like you!’ Little Bao cried in his heart while struggling to get away from the embrace.
—Outside-the-Xiao-Villa—
“Stop! Let go of my mother!” Jing Zhe dashed forward to stop the bodyguards but was rudely shoved away. She fell to the floor with a thud.
Without Xiao’s family background, she was nothing. Her ending would be unimaginably horrific…
Jing Zhe had lived in the fame of being the Xiao niece ever since she was young; there was no way she would allow herself to end up in such a deplorable state.
Feeling helpless, she climbed up and dashed into the house: “Grandmother help me!”
—At-the-same-time-inside—-
Yue Xiang made a request: “Teacher, my sister wants to hand over this evidence to police.”
Elder Xiao nodded his head and waved his hand in approval: “The Jings’ has nothing to do with us.”
Hearing the word police as she entered, Jing Zhe’s face paled and turned as white as a sheet.
If this affair got out, the Jing family would crumble soon after. She would fall from her position as the respectable young lady of the Jing family to a street-walker that no one would get close to.
“No…” She crawled to Yue Wan’s side and pulled on her hand. She looked at her and begged, her eyes swirling with tears and indignation: “You Wan, you’re willing to ruin my entire family for a little prank. Don’t you have a little bit of consciousness for me? I will be forced to die if others know about this.”
Removing her grasp, Yue Wan explained: “You have no one else to blame for this ending other than yourself. You’ve crossed the line first when you plotted against me. I never thought it was your plan until Yue Xue announced her engagement. She paved the way for me to find out about Jingnan’s affair. Though she didn’t pull the trigger, but she did provide the ammo.”
Jing Zhe’s eyes shined with a manic glow as the image of Yue Xue&Li Rong’s cover page in the magazine. ‘You will pay this debt!’
