Reborn: The Lion To Hunt The Wolf - Chapter 236
The next thing Yue Wan knew, her breath was slowly being robbed from her, and she slowly felt her consciousness grow even more blurred.
Feeling suffocated, Yue Wan tilted her head away and cried with a raspy voice, “It hurts..!”
Taking a break, Xiao Hua opened his clear eyes to see her face close and it was only then he saw that her small face was very pale. “Wan!!”
When he entered the room it was too dark, so he couldn’t see the expression on her face. He could only feel that her spirit was wan.
Xiao Hua had thought she was only worried about today’s incident at the Yue Crop or became the drunken lion. But now, it seemed that it was something completely different.
“It hurts….” Her voice was cottony soft like a sheep’s wool.
He brought her closer to him, held her small, soft waist with both of his hands and placed her on his leg, and carefully held her small face on his ċhėst as he asked, “Wild Cub, what’s wrong? Are you not feeling well?”
Yue Wan suddenly opened her large, limpid eyes, and buried her head into Xiao Hua’s ċhėst and in a low, muffled voice, she said, “My stomach hurts so much.”
Xiao Hua’s eyes swiftly caught her meaning. Startled, he hastily steadied his nerves and averted his gaze away from her.”Ahem! That ..I…”
Feeling helpless and sorry for her, he struggled on how to comfort her, “Why didn’t you tell me before, I would….” the rest words stayed on his tip of the tongue, ‘have restrained myself.’
Because, someone was very moody to snap at him, “What difference does it make?”
Xiao Hua zipped his mouth. It wouldn’t be good for him to argue with her over this. He could only think of ways to make her feel more comfortable. “Tell me what you want.”
Nuzzling into his ċhėst which was hot, firm, and muscular, Yue Wan could feel the powerful thumping of his heart. She vividly felt his heartbeats that made her heart feel nice and warm. So she acted coy and painted a pitiful look. “I want ice cream and hot chocolate.”
Like a robot being circuited with orders, Xiao Hua safely placed Yue Wan back in the bed and jumped off the window not before receiving additional order to bring some noodles and hot spicy chicken thɨġhs too.
….
The Dark Knights were petrified seeing their Prince running back and forth between the Yue Military base and outside carrying various foods.
Dong Yi turned to his fellow knight beside him and asked with puppy dog eyes: “If I buŧŧer up our new princess will I get a promotion?”
Yuya, who was shaping her nails with a knife, sitting on the branches of the tree scoffed at his stupidity: “Did you guys forget our prince’s rule?”
Dong Yi and the other knight looking at Yaya with owl-like expressions.
Yuya shrugged her shoulder: “Rule no: 1- No men allowed near his Queen. Better you guys change your gender to get the promotion.”
Every one gazed down at a certain part in their body and signed.
Fifteen minutes later, Xiao Hua finished buying the things his queen ordered and entered through the window. Stooped down to enter the room, his sight fell on a small girl hugging a pillow. Her golden eyes were looking at him and her lips were faintly flat as if she was complaining that he had taken too long.
Xiao Hua’s heart unexpectedly softened. He placed the wrapped bag on the small table, touched her small nose, and lowered his voice, “Do you feel better?” He wore a gentle and loving smile.
Yue Wan’s bright eyes that were as glossy as water and met Xiao Hua’s gaze. Her lip’s curved down in complaint: “Where did you go?”
“I went to buy the ice cream you asked for,” Xiao Hua felt that something was amiss.
Due to her cranky mood, and very painful stomach, Yue Wan recalled the past painful memory and suddenly felt that she had suffered greatly during that time. Sniffing, she looked away from him, her eyes drooped as her lips pursed slightly.
“Wan?…. Honey?…. Baby?…Wifey?” Xiao Hua’s thoughts ran wild. Feeling a little helpless he tried to coax her.
Yue Wan ignored him and didn’t reply.
Moving to the other side of the bed, Xiao Hua saw her eyes were filled with tears but she looked cute in an exasperated appearance.
Yue Wan was pouting, and her cheeks were all puffed up, showing that she was feeling unsatisfied and wronged.
Startled, Xiao Hua’s inner heart ran in panic. “Don’t cry! Don’t Cry! I was wrong. I will do whatever you say, please don’t cry, honey.”
Biting her lips, Yue Wan’s hoarse voice asked: “Really! Anything?” She looked just like a child filled up with pent-up humiliation, anger, indignation, and despair.
Xiao Hua ċȧrėssed her head lovingly and took her little body on his ŀȧp again: “Yes, baby. Tell me what you want.”
Playing on his ċhėst with her fingers, Yue Wan’s spoiled voice stated: “You should never meet or talk with any woman. If I find that you met someone behind my back, then I’ll run away with my Bao.”
Xiao Hua made a mental note to make her pregnant as soon as they get married. With a big tummy, it would be hard for her to run away from him.
Yue Wan slapped his ċhėst and continued: “Don’t even go near that Su b*tch. If you do…” separating from his embrace, she slapped the poking thing under her. “I will cut this off.”
Chibi Wolf’s body shivered in fright as he quickly took a shield to cover his little brother: ‘No wifey… I’ll never get close to any other woman. Expect you!’
Xiao Hua nodded with distressed tail and ears. “Master! You’re the only woman for me. You’re the only one I’ll ever want. So I would never cheat on you. Trust me.”
Like a queen to be served, Yue Wan couldn’t help but act spoiled. “Feed me the hot chocolate.”
Seeing the brown sugar water pushed toward her, instead of hot chocolate she raised her brows.
“This will make you feel better,” Coaxing her like a baby, he brought the warm cup to her lips, and softly coaxed: “Drink slowly.”
After she finished drinking, her stomach warmed up and she felt much better than before. She licked her lips and longs for more. ‘Mmm! Throwing a tantrum was indeed useful.’
Her pink, soft tongue passed through his sight. Instantly, Xiao Hua lowered his head, held her tongue in his mouth, gently bit it and eagerly suċkėd on it.
—-With Yue Xiang—-
“Did you think that just because I don’t come to the company, I don’t understand the company’s situation?” Sitting in the President seat, Yue Xiang looked coldly at the man before him.
Manager Mu sweating profoundly: “It’s not like that… actually..”
Yue Xiang: “And today, when a commotion occurred, a rat sneaked into my office. Don’t tell me, you were unaware of it?”
Manager Mu knitted his brows and was in disbelief. He stared at the man as though he was a Devil who came to write his judgment and tell him his sins. When Yue Crop was in an uproar, he unplugged all the CCTV cameras, so how on earth did he manage to find out? ‘No, I must not be anxious. Since I didn’t enter the room in the first place. I’m not guilty.’
“Young Master, during the lockdown period, I was with our employees and I didn’t know who went in or out of the office.”
Yue Xiang swiftly moved near Manager Mu like a vampire and slapped him left and right in the face. Manager Mu stumbled back, blood rushing from his nose.
Manager Mu ġrȯȧnėd in pain, but before he could yell out, a wet cloth was shoveled into his mouth.
Leaning down, Yue Xiang took the phone from his pants which displayed the call was hot: “Next will be you.”
The person from the other end was currently sitting in front of the dresser smashed the phone over the mirror in rage and muttered: “You insensitive bastard!!”
