After sending the two kids to get to know each other, Yue Xiang and Yue Yeager talked about the main issue.

Yue Yeager: “Where is that weird ȧssistant of yours?”

Yue Xiang split the tea he had: “Pu, cough cough cough cough…Why are you asking him?” He was baffled by the sudden question. Even if he was a genius beyond comparison, he would still never be able to understand the thoughts of his father sometimes.

Yue Yeager: “Did you forget that guy had improper thoughts regarding Little Wan? If I didn’t act fast that day, he might have fooled around with little Wan.”

Hiding his nervousness with a napkin, Yue Xiang glanced covertly at his father’s dark, and restrained face. He averted her gaze away and said: “Ahem! Ahem! Yes..yes..But he left the city, so what the use of searching for him? Don’t overthink much about that guy.”

With a poker face, Yue Yeager picked out a magazine and said: “I dont feel ȧssures. You better give me his details or I will ask Elder Xiao to deal with him.”

“Pffff—-!” Yue Xiang splatted the entire tea out. Damn you, old man!! My life comes to an end now!

Yue Xiang started to have a headache. ‘I should find a lonely island away from these guys. I’ll become crazy sooner or later!’

—With Yue Wan—

Built near a dense garden a stone pavilion stood. One side was connected to the land, while the other three offered a beautiful view of a calm, still pond, the breeze gently blew soft drifts of snow across the ice. The pond was designed with peace in mind and a variety of water flowers and fishes could be found in its gentle embrace during the warm months of spring and summer while in the winter, the frozen lake had a beautiful reflection of a full moon lighting up the area.

The weather was pretty good today, the sky was clear and the air was fresh with a gentle breeze. This was the same place where they had met for the first time.

Since it was nighttime, Xiao Hua was not able to clearly see the beautiful view, but it was forever entrenched in his mind.

“Achoo!…” Xiao Hua sneezed suddenly while he was enjoying the view. “Maybe the cold air!” He muttered.

For some reason, the tip of his eyebrows started pulsating, in a way that signified an ominous premonition.  He pondered that for a little while, before shaking his head as if to get rid of the distracting thoughts.

Seeing the woman before him hugging her elbow, he moved closer to Yue Wan and placed his coat over her body: “It’s cold, make sure to keep yourself warm.”

The coat was warmly placed on her body and she was touched as his heat still lingered, penetrating her body and warming her up even more. Lifting her head up, she met Xiao Hua’s eyes. “I just feel like all of this is happening so quickly, it feels like a dream.”

Xiao Hua plainly replied, lifting her chin up: “Are you regretting it?”

Watching his clear dotting eyes which had a reflection of herself, Yue Wan could still feel his patience and tender love towards her. Waves of warmth rippled through her heart: “No, I’m just afraid that if we replayed this moment, I would still make the same choice, but…. we just got into the relationship. Aren’t we rushing things?”

Xiao Hua’s exquisite eyes started to smolder. “Wan, do you know that your man is being pursued by most of the women in City A? There are millions of proposal cards being prepared after my existence was revealed. Without knowing my face, some women were already declaring that they will be my wife.”

Yue Wan stiffened after hearing his words. A sharp pain seemed to spread into her limbs all of a sudden. The image of Su Yunying appeared in her mind, and the agony that her presence caused her in her past life shot through her body. After a moment passed, she heard him say in a low voice, “Do you want a woman getting in your position and using some scheme to forcefully marry me? Huh?”

In her past life, the whole city had declared Su Yunying to be Xiao Hua’s perfect maiden and all the times that Su Yunying stood beside him and posed like the mistress of the Xiao plugged her heart. ‘No…Absolutely not!’

As she was being drowned in the misery of the past, Xiao Hua brought her closer to his body and hugged her waist: “Wild cub, can you accept it if some women possess your man?” His tone sounded dangerous.

Yue Wan’s palm clasped his shirt in swift and looked at his smiling face with her possessive eyes: “No, I can’t. You can only belong to me.”

Xiao Hua bent his head to kiss her lips and bite the tip of her tongue. She shivered and heard the man mutter on her lips. “So tell me, are we rushing things?”

Like a deflated ball, Yue Wan leaned her head on the man’s shoulder with mildly swollen lips and shook her head.

Chibi Xiao Hua: ‘Hehehe! My wife is cute. She didn’t know that she was getting duped!’

She loved Xiao Hua more and her instinct wanted to cage this man somewhere away from the prying eyes of all those women that think he could possibly belong to them. She would never give him to any other woman! Damn her reasoning! Damn her pride!

She put her arms around his back, buried her face in his ċhėst and smelled his refreshing body scent. She snuggled in his arms; her voice muffled like a squirrel: “Mr. Xiao, I already claimed you as mine. So you better forget taking back your proposal.”

Xiao Hua’s heart went out to her when he saw her behave in such a cute manner. ‘Where does this cute animal come from??.. Ah! Can I take her back home right now??!!’

After all, he had gotten what he wanted and needed from Yue Yeager! He was regretting that he didn’t push for the marriage sooner. Elder Xiao felt they should wait until she became 18… but that was still one and a half years away! ‘So long to wait! ….No…..Too long to wait!’

Seeing that he was staring at the sky with repeated signing, she couldn’t help but frown as she asked calmly, “Mr. Xiao, what are you thinking?”

Looking at the woman in his embrace, that man asked her out of blue, “Do you really have to do higher studies? How about studying from home? Staying in the dorm or going to university daily might bring out lots of pests…” He lamented more.
