Reborn: The Unexpected Twist - Chapter 250
At this time of the day at school, barely any students were left. However, as a figure walked by the hallway, he managed to elicit enough response from the others.
Dressed in luxurious suit, Han Taehyun walked through the hallway of Starlight. All of the eyes were upon him, mostly due to the mask on his face, and at this moment, he appeared exactly identical to Kim Taeho.
His hands were inside his pockets, and green lens were upon his eyes. A cold look sat in those eyes of his, resembling those of Han Taeho.
Stepping in front of the Principal’s door, he knocked on it, and although everyone found themselves being on guard with his presence here, they still stole glances at him, wondering why he would be here.
After the words ‘Come in’ were heard from the Principal, Han Taehyun extended his hand towards the knob and pushed open the door. Stepping into the room, he stared at the Principal— a bone-chilling aura emitting from him.
Seeing Han Taeho here managed to receive an surprised expression from the Principal, and he immediately stood up straight. Han Taehyun could easily see how frightened the Principal was, and this made a subtle smirk form on his face.
Using Taeho’s identity to get this reaction from the Principal did not make him feel guilty, and as the door closed behind him, he stepped closer to the Principal’s desk.
“Mr. H-Han T-Taeho,” The Principal stuttered out.
Although Han Taeho was much younger than him and was simply a teenager, the air he let out was enough to show his power and oppress others around him.
Feeling all the hair on his body rise, the Principal took in a deep breath and tried to maintain on a composed expression regardless of how difficult it was to do that at this very moment.
Walking away from the behind of his desk, the Principal stepped towards Han Taeho, and pointing towards the couch whilst wearing a docile smile upon his face, he said, “Take a seat there, Mr. Han Taeho. It is truly an honour seeing you here.”
Seeing how the power made the Principal cower made Han Taehyun think of how pathetic he seemed. Taehyun did not personally prefer people who were ready to abandon their morals just with money involved, and the Principal perfectly fell into the category.
Staying silent, Han Taehyun sat upon the couch whilst his eyes stared at the Principal. The Principal could feel Taehyun’s eyes penetrating through the deepest part of him and looking through every part of him.
“W-Was t-there a-anything you needed?” The Principal questioned as he stood opposite to Han Taehyun.
Taehyun’s eyes did not miss how the Principal’s hands shivered, and the Principal feeding him was precisely what he needed at this moment.
“Who was the one that ordered you to suspend Min Hyunbin from the exam?” Han Taehyun asked, getting straight to the point.
Taehyun noticed how the Principal’s eyes widened when he asked the question, and the Principal’s face began to grow pale. Seeing how his body began to shiver more and the fear on his face deepened, Taehyun could see that the Principal was conflicted.
Before the Principal could say anything— which would most likely be a lie or some other nonsense— Taehyun added, “Could it possibly be the President’s daughter, Kwon Youngmi, or himself?”
Leaning back against the couch, Taehyun crossed his legs and said, “No, it seems a foolish action for him and his daughter. It definitely was someone very close to them, probably one of Youngmi’s close friends, whose power is close enough to yours.”
Hearing those words from Han Taehyun made the Principal’s eyes widen, and if he had answered him on the person involved, the person involved will surely have him killed.
Nonetheless, looking at how Han Taehyun was staring at him, he was well aware that Taehyun would not hesitate to kill him too. Either way, his life was in danger.
“I-I do not know, Mr. Han Taeho,” The Principal replied— his voice sounding shaken up.
The Principal then added, “The person called me on the phone and said me about the CCTV footage. I checked it then, and when the papers were missing, I deemed Hyunbin to be guilty. All of this is my fault for incompetence. I accept all sorts of punishments.”
Han Taeho’s lips curved to form a smirk, and as a sadistic glint appeared in his eyes, he leaned towards the Principal. Seeing such a look in Taeho’s eyes made the Principal more frightened than he already was.
“Principal, I do not like anyone who lies to me. With your records of accepting bribe and now this, I wonder which school will be accepting you,” Taehyun voiced out.
As his eyes dilated, the Principal looked towards Taehyun, and whilst trying his hardest to pull out a smile, the Principal asked, “What do you mean?”
“You are fired, Principal,” Taehyun said.
The Principal’s knees collapsed due to the horror he felt, and as his knees touched the ground, a loud sound was created. If the truth between Principal’s dealings came out, no school would be willing to hire him, and his savings currently were not enough to support him.
He could possibly end up on the streets with Han Taeho’s power, and whilst bowing multiple number of times, he said, “Please spare and forgive me, Mr. Han Taeho. I am sorry; I am really sorry for offending you. I hope you can look past it; I am really sorry. I am willing to do anything, so please don’t make me jobless.”
“So pathetic. Just a little threatening is enough to make you so obedient. Give me the answer I need, and if it is appropriate enough, you might not have to stay at the streets,” Taehyun stated.
“I want to, but I am afraid that they wouldn’t be sparing me if I let you know about it. I am willing to tell you about it, so keep me alive,” The Principal begged.
“After I take actions against them, they would be too busy to bother with you. You were just a small insect to them.”
