Reborn: The Unexpected Twist - Chapter 255
“How did your date with that idiot go?” Han Taehyun questioned as Lee Jinhee stepped into the room.
He had his hands crossed over his chest whilst a stern expression sat on his face. Rolling her eyes at Jinhee, she closed the door behind her.
Then, smiling towards him, Jinhee walked forward, and whilst staring straight at Taehyun’s eyes, she answered, “Pleasant, extremely pleasant, unlike my dates with certain someone.”
“Well, you call it pleasant because you are inexperienced when it comes to date. Speaking about dates, let’s go on one on this Monday or Tuesday. There are no exams, and there will be plenty of time to do it,” Taehyun said.
Lee Jinhee sighed and stated, “That doesn’t sound bad, and we can go on it unless or until life decides to drop another trouble on me.”
“Right, I know how much of a trouble magnet you could be, Jinhee-ah,” Taehyun voiced out, “What should I do? Lock you up in this room until Monday and let you only out when it is the time for our date.”
“I am pretty sure I do not have Stockholm Syndrome, and that will cause me to immediately fall out of love with you,” Jinhee pointed out.
Taehyun lamented, “It would be great if you did. Then, I would not need to go through all these trouble, and from our first meeting, I would have locked you to be within a mansion. No one, but us two, will be inside that mansion.”
Lee Jinhee scoffed and stated, “Tch! Don’t you have better things to think about, Han Taehyun. You are completely friendless.”
Whilst playfully glaring at Lee Jinhee, Taehyun voiced out, “Whose fault is that? You are really possessive to the point that I am not allowed to make friends. I can get really lonely at times, so you need to accompany me more. Loneliness can lead to depression, and depression can lead to something much worse.”
Taehyun then asked, “Should I buy a mansion for two of us alone and be locked there forever, so that none of us will be ever lonely?”
Whilst having her arms crossed over her chest, Lee Jinhee stared at Han Taehyun as if he was babbling some nonsensical matters the entire time he talked, and after he was done voicing out his thoughts, she asked, “Should we get ready for sleeping now?”
Hearing those words from Jinhee made Taehyun gasp, and whilst staring at Jinhee with widened eyes, he voiced out, “You can not say it like this, Jinhee-ah, or I might misunderstand the situation. However, that’s okay if you want me to misunderstand the situation.”
Raising her hand towards Han Taehyun, she was about to push his chest playfully as her eyes glared upon him when Taehyun gripped her hand and pulled her closer to him.
A gasp left her mouth at his actions, and as she looked up towards him, he leaned his head down to place a slight peck on Jinhee’s lips before licking her lips, causing a surprised expression to form upon her face.
As Taehyun pulled away, a chuckle left his mouth, and as his hand held on to Jinhee’s chin, he voiced out, “Jinhee-ah, your lips tastes like seafood.”
Whilst staring at Han Taehyun, wearing an unimpressed expression, she asked, “Was that a compliment or insult?”
“Neither; This makes me wonder on about how would seafood taste if you feed that to me mouth to mouth. I am sure it will be absolutely delicious,” Han Taehyun vocalised.
“Pervert!” Lee Jinhee exclaimed whilst stepping on his foot with her utmost strength, and seeing him wince in pain made a small smile form on her face.
As Han Taehyun loosened his hold on Jinhee, she backed away from him and vocalised, “Sooner or later, I have to take actions against you, You Pervert.”

Lee Jinhee could see the members of the Lee family staring at her, probably wondering on where Han Taehyun was, and as she boredly gazed upon them, she wondered on about who will be the first one to ask her on it.
“Jinhee, where is Han Taehee? Would she not have breakfast with us?” Lee Jiyoung, Jinkyung’s mother, questioned.
Shrugging her shoulders, she shook her head before looking down at her food. She had a vague clue on where Han Taehyun was and an inkling was there within her that Taeho was the one responsible behind this.
“How can you not know? She is an important friend of yours, and as she is staying with you, you should at least know about this,” Jiyoung reprimanded.
“How is that any of your business?” Jinhee asked without lifting her head to look at Jiyoung. Lee Jiyoung either had a anger or sadness filled expression upon her face.
“Jinhee, look at that tone you are using again. She is your mother, and be more polite to her. Han Taehee is a guest of ours, and of course, we need to take care of her so that she is not uncomfortable in staying here,” Lee Minjoon voiced out.
Whilst looking up towards him, Jinhee smiled at him and said, “Well, since I brought her here, it makes her my guest, and I can take care of my guests perfectly. There is no need for you to interfere, Father, Mother.”
“Han Taehee is someone really important, and I don’t want harm come to our family just because you treat her wrongly. So far yet, we can clearly seen how you treat her,” Lee Minjoon pointed out. Rage could be seen in his eyes.
As mock showed on Jinhee’s face as she stated, “If it wasn’t for me, Taehee would not even step a foot here, and if she herself has no problem with how I am treating her, why are you barging in this matter?”
Before Lee Minjoon could answer, Jinhee wore on an innocent expression as she added, “Also I have mentioned to Taehee on how only Grandpa Dowon is my family. So luckily for you, if I do anything wrong, Grandpa Dowon will be the one suffering the consequences, and that’s why, you’ll be spared.”
