Reborn: The Unexpected Twist - Chapter 265
Lee Jinhee decided to head directly to school after hospital, and due to having so many people visit her, her stay in the hospital felt quite short this time around.
Walking into the school building, whispers reached Jinhee’s ears, and this time all the negative part was towards Jinkyung and Minjoon. There were few who glanced at Jinhee.
Nevertheless, Jinhee remained unfazed by it as she walked into her classroom. A part of her was ecstatic. She was curious on seeing what type of move will Jinkyung be making on her next.
Surely, Jinkyung found herself being infuriated by it, and in order for revenge, there is a huge extent Jinkyung could go to. Jinhee needed to start brewing ideas on how to trap Jinkyung.
Kwon Youngmi was another one of her worries as well. However, since Jaehyun was currently here, Jinhee was aware that jealousy would easily ruin her.
Extending her hand to the knob of the door, Jinhee turned it and pulled open the door to the classroom. Han Taehyun held her other hand and intertwined their fingers together.
A wide grin sat upon her face as she and Taehyun walked into the classroom, followed by Shin Soyeon. Three of them stepped towards their respective place and sat down.
Jinhee could feel that there were many eyes which were staring upon her silently, and she wondered on about who will be the first one to break the ice.
After few seconds, she heard couple of footsteps nearing to her, and raising her head, she saw that Kwon Youngmi was standing before her. Youngmi’s eyes held concern in them whilst they stared upon Jinhee.
Narrowing her eyes down at Youngmi, Jinhee nonchalantly questioned, “What is the matter?”
The past traps Youngmi lied down for her came inside her mind, and Jinhee did not think this was anything postive for her either. There are most definitely a hidden motive behind this.
“Jinhee-ssi,” Youngmi started, “I just wanted to ask about how you were doing. I heard that accident was quite severe, and then you get to learn that…I am sorry; I am really sorry, Jinhee-ssi. I feel—”
“What are you apologizing for? Are you the one who was siding with Minjoon or wronged me? If not, then I don’t think you have much of a reason to apologise to me,” Jinhee pointed out, “Although apologies are considered polite for the most part, unnecessary ones are deemed annoying by me.”
Hearing those words from Jinhee made Youngmi bow, and she said, “I am so—”
“Here you go again— apologizing. Youngmi-ssi, as I have previously mentioned, apologizing just makes everything awkward. It would be great if you could refrain yourself from doing so although it makes you comfortable. I am doing quite alright; Thank you for checking up on me.”
A wide smile sat on Jinhee’s face.
Lee Jinhee could see the frowns which were forming on Kwon Youngmi’s face before she decided to cover them up by wearing a neutral expression.
“Do you want to eat lunch together, Jinhee-ssi?” Youngmi questioned whilst her eyes showed feigned hope.
Jinhee did not want to reject Youngmi for she certainly had something planned, and maybe this could get her a huge clue against Youngmi.
Jinhee nodded and stated, “Sure, let’s do that if your friends are comfortable with it.”
Kwon Youngmi tried to make her the target of jokes and bullying with her last post. Nevertheless, even though everyone had a negative opinion on Jinhee, with Taehyun’s influence, not many would be volunteering to attack her.
There will be few brave and foolish souls— often led by Kwon Youngmi— who would try to put Jinhee down, and she was waiting for those person to make a move upon her.
Lee Jinhee did not consider herself to be untouchable, and she might get hurt in this. Nonetheless, since she had slightly sacrificed herself once for her benefit, she did not mind doing it again much.
“I don’t think they will be having a problem with it, Jinhee-ssi; Thank you for agreeing,” Youngmi said as a wide smile sat upon her face.
Jinhee just flashed her a small smile. A perfect plan on how get Youngmi to fall in a trap came into Jinhee’s mind at that moment, and she could not wait to play that card.
Jinhee decided to plot against Jinkyung after Youngmi is out of the game.
Jinhee nodded.
As Kwon Youngmi was about to walk, Jinhee turned back to face Kim Jaehyun and stated, “Jaehyun-ah, want to hang out later on? Just walking around the park and having ice-cream?”
From the corner of her eyes, Jinhee could see how her words caused for Youngmi to stop for a second. As Jinhee’s eyes were upon Youngmi’s back, she could not exactly see the expression upon her face.
“Sure,” Jaehyun agreed.
Then, he continued, “But are you sure you can walk around? In that state of yours, should not it be difficult for you?”
“I heal really fast, and I am sure I will be able to walk. Moreover, we barely talk these days,” Jinhee vocalised.
“Alright then. I do not have anything in my schedule as well.”
“That’s settled then. What about you, Chaewon? Do you want to come?” Jinhee stated in an enthusiastic tone.
Jinhee deemed it to be impolite if she did not ask Chaewon. Nevertheless, she wanted for her to reject for things would be more effective without Chaewon being present.
“I have homeworks to complete, so I can’t,” Chaewon answered.
“Too bad then,” Lee Jinhee mumbled before turning to the front.
Titling her head, Jinhee realized that Taehyun was staring daggers at her, and his bottom lip was protruded forward to form a pout. She raised one of her eyebrows at his actions.
“What’s with that look on your face?” Jinhee questioned.
“Tch! Don’t act all that oblivious to it now. Lee Jinhee, I can really see the signs of you cheating,” Taehyun vocalised.
Then, titling his head, he pointed towards Jaehyun and said, “With this jerk.”
