Reborn: The Unexpected Twist - Chapter 267
Opening the door to the cafeteria, Jinhee carefully stepped in whilst her eyes scanned the surroundings around her, trying to be on lookout for what might happen.
After her countless number of tries, Jinhee managed to convince Taehyun to not follow after her to cafeteria. Hyunbin did not attend school today, and due to the numerous eyes staring at him, Jaehyun did not like having lunch in the cafeteria. Chaewon stayed behind with Jaehyun.
Shin Soyeon followed after Jinhee from a safe distance for Jinhee did not want Youngmi to be alerted because of Soyeon’s presence.
Wearing a soft smile on her face, Jinhee was about to walk to stand in line when she felt someone grip her hand. Turning her head, she realized that it was Youngmi.
Smiling widely towards Jinhee, Youngmi vocalised, “You do not have to eat the lunch from school’s cafeteria. Let’s go outside and have something. There is enough time for us to do so, and don’t worry. It is my treat.”
Creases appeared between Jinhee’s eyebrows, and she did not know how to answer to that. If she followed after Youngmi, Soyeon would not be able to hang closely to her, and this might be potentially dangerous to her.
Nonetheless, it could also be that Youngmi was planning something really big, and with this, she could potentially get Youngmi to be removed from her life.
As Jinhee was contemplating regarding the pros and cons of the situation, Youngmi questioned, “Are you too uncomfortable to with it?”
Before Youngmi could say anything more, Jinhee shook her head and said, “No, I particularly have no problem with it. Let’s go then.”
Since it is Kwon Youngmi, the school would not be able to stop her from leaving whenever she wants to do so, and there were multiple times students sneaked away from school during the lunch break.
“What about your other friends? Will they be coming along?” Jinhee raised one of her eyebrows.
If those lackeys of Youngmi tagged along, things might get quite difficult for her for they will be the one handling things, and Youngmi would be able to use them as a cover.
Before Youngmi could answer, Jinhee added, “I am not exactly comfortable with them, and I would prefer if they did not come.”
Jinhee noticed how Youngmi’s eyes widened for a fraction of a second after she had said that, and this was enough to let her know that Youngmi had something planned with them. If they did not come along, Youngmi would have to take care of the most things.
“I would not definitely want you to feel uncomfortable. Although I invited them before, I guess I will just have to decline them even though they had no problem with you,” Youngmi stated. A sigh left Youngmi’s mouth as she stared down.
“If you are reluctant, we can just go some other day. Just go with your friends today,” Jinhee voiced out as she shrugged her shoulders.
Raising her line of sight, Youngmi stared upon Jinhee and shook her head. Pulling on a despondent smile upon her face, Youngmi said, “No, Jinhee-ah, I do not mind. After all, having it with you is more important than them. I’ll just go over for a second, and tell them about it.”
Jinhee nodded.
Turning her back on Jinhee, Youngmi hurriedly went towards those friends of hers when Jinhee took out her phone. She decided to text Taehyun in that instant.
She typed, “Taehyun, I am going out with Youngmi at this instant, probably at a restaurant, and she definitely has something planned at this moment.”
She sent the message to Han Taehyun. Jinhee trusted Taehyun with her safety, and she had an inkling he would be perfectly able to collect the evidences against her.
Immediately, she had send that message to Taehyun, her phone vibrated due to receiving a message, and looking down at it, she realized that it was from Taehyun.
“Sure, sure! I will be doing my job perfectly, and so, I expect ten kisses from you as a reward.”
“Reward? That depends on your performance,” Jinhee sent as a chuckle left her mouth. Even without it being the reward, she would kiss Taehyun ten times.
At that moment, Jinhee looked down Youngmi’s direction as she placed her phone inside, and after seeing how Youngmi’s friends were all scowling at her, she pursed both of her lips together.

As they stepped into the huge restaurant, Jinhee stared down at her watch and noticed that there was only half an hour before the lunch was over.
She was well aware that they would not be able to perfectly make it to the class after having lunch here. Nevertheless, at this moment, something else was more important than the classes.
Turning towards her, Youngmi smiled and vocalised, “Do you find this place to be alright? I reserved this place earlier because it seemed to be a delightful.”
The restaurant was most definitely somewhere only few of the selected top can visit, and Jinhee was well aware that she was not included in that top. Then again, maybe now that she was Taehyun’s fiance, she could be considered in that top as well.
As Jinhee barely held any power when it came to such a place, it would make it a perfect place for Youngmi to plot against her and hide all of it perfectly.
No one here would dare to go against Youngmi, and knowing that she was stepping into somewhere really dangerous, she took in a deep breath.
Anxiety gradually began to brew up within her whilst she forced out a smile upon her face, and looking towards Youngmi, she stated, “Yes, this place seems perfect. We better hurry up though. Classes will be starting soon.”
“Let’s do that,” Youngmi vocalised, “The food here is really good, Jinhee-ssi. Once you taste them, you would not feel like stopping.”
Lee Jinhee could clearly see the enthusiasm on Youngmi’s face, and she clenched her hand tightly at that.
