Reborn: The Unexpected Twist - Chapter 275
A gasp left Lee Jinhee’s mouth as she pushed Han Taehyun away from her. Crossing her hands over her chest, her eyes glared upon Taehyun whilst a playful look reflected in her eyes.
“I can not absolutely dare you to do that. How could you even let that idea come in you mind. My talent solely belongs to me, and you can forget about sharing it,” Jinhee vocalised.
“Aish! Jinhee-ah, stop being this stingy. Sharing it with the unfortunate would be making you the bigger person,” Taehyun vocalised as he leaned closer to Jinhee.
Taking the last bite out of her sandwich, Jinhee threw away the wrapper and stood up almost immediately. As her eyes stared at Taehyun warily, she backed away from him.
She then stated, “There is no way I am allowing you to steal these precious talents of mine. Get away from me.”
“I am not stealing them; It is known as sharing. Sharing is caring, Jinhee-ah,” Taehyun expressed as he stood up.
“No way. Taking something forcefully or without permission is known as stealing, and I do not even care for you in the first place,” Jinhee vocalised.
As if it caught him by surprise, Taehyun’s eyes widened, and a gasp left his mouth. Bringing his hand closer to his chest, he grasped it tightly.
Looking as if he was offended, Taehyun said, “How can you even say something like that Jinhee? I thought our relationship meant something.”
Showing mock upon her face, Jinhee stated, “What type of relationship? That thing was absolutely useless.”
“That’s it, Jinhee! I will not be allowing you insult it further. You’re getting out of hand, and you need to be taught a lesson,” Taehyun stated as he stepped closer to Jinhee.
Moving further back from Taehyun, she said, “Anything with you will be considered useless, and you are too weak to be even my enemy.”
A smirk sat on her face as Taehyun said, “This was the last string. You better run for your life now because once you are caught, the only thing you will be treated with is torture.”
Taehyun’s words caused for Jinhee’s eyes to widen, and as he walked closer to Jinhee, a giggle left her mouth as she turned her back towards him.
Running towards the direction of the door, she extended her hand towards the handle, and turning it, she pulled open the door.
Turning her head back, she stuck her tongue out towards Taehyun when she noticed how close he was to catching her, and a yelp left her mouth while she made her way out through that door.
“You can’t catch me!” Jinhee chuckled as she ran down those series of stairs.
A series of laughs left her mouth while Taehyun said, “We will be seeing about that.”
Lee Jinhee was well aware of how fast Han Taehyun ran, and she knew that he was purposely trying to match her pace due to the sake of fun.
Sooner or later, he will be catching up to her, and since these were the stairs, she could not help but be careful. Jinhee did not want to increase her speed only to result her tripping down on them due to her clumsiness.
“I am close, Jinhee-ah. There is not much further you will be able to run to,” Taehyun vocalised as a grin formed on his face.
Seeing that there were three stairs beneath her, Jinhee jumped down them, and a loud sound was created as her foot touched the flat surface beneath it.
“I don’t think so,” Jinhee confidently said.
Eyes were attracted towards their direction, and Jinhee did not care what they thought of her or how running in the hallway was not allowed.
There was a certain type of thrill to running at this moment, and she wanted to keep doing that regardless of the consequences.
Jinhee could hear Taehyun’s footsteps getting really near to her, and a gasp left her mouth as she quickened her footsteps. In her opinion, it would not be fun if she got caught by Taehyun this easily.
Taking a sharp turn at the left, Jinhee was about to turn left to see where Taehyun was when her body collided against something harsh, and a groan left her mouth.
A sharp ache went through her head, and she stumbled after losing her balance. In order to maintain her stability, Jinhee held the wall beside her.
Raising her line of sight, Jinhee saw that the Principal stood before her whilst his eyes stared daggers at her, and mentally, she shook her head at her childish behavior.
Han Taehyun stood beside her, and realizing what just had happened, laughs left his mouth. His laughter annoyed her, and she partially blamed this on him.
Extending her leg towards her, she stomped upon his foot harshly, quietening his down, before bowing at the Principal politely and apologetically.
“I am really sorry, Principal. I was not watching where I was going,” She said.
After what had happened last time around, Jinhee had an inkling that the Principal did not like her much, and what had happened today most definitely left a worse opinion of her on him.
“Lee Jinhee, Han Taehee, you two are well aware of how running around in the hallway is not allowed yet you did so,” The Principal started.
Whilst continuing to stare down on the ground, Jinhee nodded at his words while Taehyun just casually smiled at the Principal as he felt somewhat annoyed. If it was not for the Principal, he would have been able to enjoy time with Jinhee further.
“After class today, the two of you will be cleaning all the first year classes, and if you have any objections, you should bring your parents to the school,” The Principal sternly said regardless of how intimidated he felt due to the students in front of him.
“Do you really want me to bring my parents, Principal?” Taehyun questioned while rasing one of his eyebrows.
Seeing how the Principal was about to say something, Taehyun chuckled and stated, “I am kidding. I’ll be cleaning up the classroom after classes, and I will be having a fun time doing so.”
Jinhee gave Taehyun a confused stare for she knew that he had something planned inside his mind.
